Re-grouting of Ceramic Tile Shower
Description of Work: Erskin’s team was fantastic to deal with. Phone contact was easy, and I was able to quickly get an appointment for an estimate. Erskin came to the house on time and gave us a very reasonable estimate with numerous options to choose from in terms of the level of work we wanted done. In the end we decided on a re-grouting. The work was done by Dustin, who did a great job. He arrived on time on the scheduled day and took great care to keep our home as clean as possible while doing the work. He covered the hardwood floors on the way to the bathroom to ensure they were not damaged in any way. The work itself was exceptionally well done. Our 32 year old shower now looks as good as new. I am very impressed with the work done, the reasonableness of the cost, and the overall experience of estimate, scheduling, work and follow-up. We will certainly make Erskin’s Tile our first choice for any future work!

Awesome job! Erskin was on on point during the entire remodel. Communicating every step of the way. His staff was above and beyond, two very competent employees who also communicated through every step of the process. The tile work by both is absolutely beautiful, nothing but straight lines. Would recommend to anyone and I already have!

Erskin completed both of those requirements for a beautiful, seamless job at an affordable price. He delivered quality workmanship along with friendly customer service. I recommend Erskin's Tile without reservation.
Description of Work: Erskin's Tile recently did a job for me to complete the tiling in my kitchen behind the range hood. It is a new home and the builder only included tiling to the bottom of the hood. The job required intricate cuts around the cabinets and crown molding and the ability to match the tile work already in place.

Again we thank for choosing Erskin's Tile. And we do apologize that the bathroom floor couldn't be cleaned. However some tile floors are not in the best interest to be cleaned. For instance in this case the 4x4 floor tiles were installed directly onto the subfloor without any backerboard by the original installers. This does indeed cause problems which is why the tiles were loose and the grout was missing. As we stated, cleaning would cause more damage because without any grout in the joints the water would immediately fall to the subfloor. Causing it to eventually warp. We can't do a regrout neither for the fact that the tiles are loose and moving. As I explained, doing so is honestly a waste of your money. The grout would eventually crack and come out of the joints again within a matter of weeks. Unfortunately the only result to fixing it and assuring the problem is resolved properly is to install a new floor. Because the only thing holding it down is its own weight. As you know, I proposed a shower recaulk and I removed all the molded caulk to compensate for the $99 Big Deal which was a $150 saving. Plus any extras that were requested. Again we do apologize for any inconvenience. Complete customer satisfaction and assuring our work and high quality is, and always will be our goal. We focus on the right way which assures both parties. Thank you again and please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Erskin and Dustin were extremely professional. Dustin did a great job installing the tile and matching the grout to the existing color. Dustin was neat and punctual. I am very grateful to Erskin for accommodating our schedule. I definitely will be calling Erskin again for our next tile job.

We told him when we wanted the work done and that is exactly what he did. He was on time and made sure it was completed as stated. Erskin even called to check back and make sure it was done to our liking. We were surprised by his complete knowledge and understanding of what we were trying to accomplish. His suggestions truly made a big difference. Erskin is a good listener.

The quality of the work is amazing. I have used Erskin over the past 5 years in different projects in my home. Wether it is the floor or the backsplash, I continue to be thoroughly pleased with his work and stand behind the quality so much that I have recommended him to family, friends, and coworkers. If you want a work product thats falls aprt, easy to break, or lifts up easily, then Erskin's Tile is not the place for you.
