Great hire - fixed chipped quartz counter - very fair price - did the job on the spot and was very professional.

Hector De Leon called me the day after I made my online request. He agreed to meet me the next day at the job site. We met and discussed the scope of work to be done, he quoted me a price fot the work which I thought was a good value. I contacted him the very next day to begin the fabrication process and in 6 days he was at the job site as promised to do the installation. The installation was done very professionally and the old countertop was removed and the site cleaned. Hector was a joy to work with and I admire his professional business approach and work ethic. I highly recommend him to anyone needing new countertops.

We now have very nice quartz counters in two baths (1 double vanity, 1 single vanity). The pricing was in line with the other HomeAdvisor company that reached out to us, perhaps a smidge better. We ultimately went with Solid Surface because we appreciated that Lorenzo (the owner) had come out to bid the job in person (the other company did an email bid) and worked with us to pick out a remnant slab on a weekend. It was a bit of a journey to get to the endgame, though. The day before the job, we provided Solid Surface with a sample sink and offered to provide them with sample faucets. They took the sink, but declined to take the faucets. In addition, we gave them faucets to "dry fit" on install day. Nonetheless, it appears the faucet wasn't fully taken into account when placing the sinks. It was admittedly a tight space and two were big faucets. (The third was a smaller one.) But we (either us or a plumber we hired) couldn't get the faucets to work with the sink placements. We ended up having to change faucets for our double vanity, and even then the sinks had to be notched out in the back. To their credit, Solid Surface saw all of this through, and we now have functioning counters/sinks/faucets. But the experience required three visits from them, extra visits from the plumber, and in the end, we had to install 2 of the 3 faucets ourselves to get it done. Solid Surface volunteered to discount the work ($50, about 4%) after their crew was late on the first day of the three visits. But that was the extent of the accommodation for the situation. In truth, we weren't really looking to pay less. We would have liked better front-end planning.

They were very professional, neat, and great attention to detail! They were here all day, I mean all day, finished at 9 PM, arrived at 9:30. I had a glass back splash that I didn't want damaged, they said it wouldn't get damaged, and it didn't! I really appreciate that, other estimates did not guarantee they wouldn't damage my existing backsplash or fix it if was damaged. I would highly recommend, it's hard to find great quality of work, they didn't disappoint!

They were very quick to schedule the initial appointment, but didn't show up. However, with 1 phone call they came a few days later and did a super job.

After numerous estimates, I contacted Home Advisor and was connected to Solid Surface General Contractor Inc. I was contacted by Hector De Leon who is the owner and Once I explained to him the scope of my project he quickly provided a very reasonable estimate. Additionally, Hector was very flexable and accomodating with the schedule I was working with. Once Hector arrived on the day of work, he quickly sized up the project and went right to work. When the job was complete I was very pleased with the finished product as well as the post job clean-up and finishing. Very professional! p.s. as a former Marine SgtMaj I am not easy on my inspections and Hector passed with flying colors. Lastly, if you are in the market for counter top work of any kind I would say that you need not look any further than the professionals at Solid Surface.
