We were very glad we called on Don for both these projects - for his courtesy, professionalism and excellent ideas. We didn't hesitate to call on him a second time! He is a great resource. He listened carefully to our needs and wants, offered great suggestions, and helped us come up with good plans.

It all went very smoothly. Don provided his expertise and advice and the architectural drawings were done very well and to our complete satisfaction.

Don is very responsive, with a better vision than the homeowner's (i.e. us). We've been happy thus far, especially when we weren't sure about the actual value of having plans drawn up. We basically had them done for our benefit, so we could get a better sense of the options. It turned out Don's drawings were supremely useful in getting an estimate for the work. The contractor not only knew of Don, he praised his work and technical skills, which was reassuring.

Don was great to work with and he did a fantastic job. When he first met with us at our home he was attentive, asked probing questions to determine what we wanted, and offered a number of suggestions and possibilities. Over the time when he was working on the plans we had a number of opportunities to provide feedback and ask for alterations. We got exactly what we needed and were happy with the results. When we met with prospective builders they were all very pleased with the plans Don had produced.

I bought a "fixer-upper" several years ago with the first project to be a kitchen remodel. Unfortunately it didn't happen due to a number of other previously unidentified issues with the house which needed to take priority. Finally, it looked like I could finally get this project out of the way; however, I needed some help with the layout and some drawings with accurate measurements so I could get the process rolling. I found Don through Angie's List, gave him a call and in under a week I had drawings in my hand. There are many more projects which need to be done and I will definitely give Don a call.

Very well. I built our Deck using the plans provided by CarriageStone. Don took time with us and offered suggestions. If we were to build a home, we would give Don a call.

We met with Don and described what we wanted in a garage. He asked a lot of questions to help narrow down the project. Based on this session, Don created preliminary drawings which we received by email. We asked questions and suggested changes and then Don created 5 sets of final drawings which are being used to obtain bids for the project. This was a very pleasant experience. Don was quite thorough (the contractors have been able to give us estimates without any problem off of the drawings) and even provided the drawings in PDF format. He was very fast, surprising us with how quickly he completed the project.
