Relocated large furniture, and removed old finish with a scrubbing pad . Cut in edges and corners by hand. Applied finish material, which is a new form of polyurethane that has received rave reviews. Although not requested put felt pads on the feet of the sofas and large chairs. Because of the amount of furniture, split the job over two days so that the floors could dry properly without inconveniencing us. Come back a third day to finish relocating the furniture. Showed up on time. Very professional in their work. Floors look great. Very pleased with their work/

Two guys showed up on time and got straight to the job. My wife and I moved a couple items before they got there so they didn't have to worry with that. We got a small discount too because all they had to do was get to the refinishing. They will move your stuff if you can't do it. They did a good job, we would have them come back in the future if needed.

The floors looked excellent for the most part. The contractor was unable to buff and coat the floor of the staircase but still wanted to be paid for this work having included it in the estimate.

They showed up exactly as planned and went straight to work. The paint, to my amazement was removed the floors were refinished. I also had the do the hall. It was perfect! The floors look like new . I'm very happy and have already recommended them to others.

They restored my wood floors without sanding and no mess. My floors had been neglected for 23 years, and they brought them back to life...they look beautiful. I got a prompt and accurate estimate, they arrived on time, moved the furniture and put it back when they were done. They then came back after the job was completed to make sure I was satisfied. Dave returned to the site several times working to make the floors their best. He was available by phone. He kept to his original bid. We were very satisfied.

We selected this deal because the beautiful heart pine floors in our old house needed refinishing but could not take another sanding. We decided to try Buff & Coat as an alternative. The workers came on time, clearly explained the process (and its limitations), and finished the entire job, including prep, in just two hours. The floor was dry by the end of the day. While clearly not the equal of a total refinish job, the floor looks great and we will likely use this company to address other trouble spots elsewhere in the house.

They were prompt, professional, and did a good job.

We really liked what they did. We thought that they were professional. They worked very diligently. I didn't have a problem with them not doing something. They completed their job and we liked the finished product very much. They were focused, they did their job. We did recommend them to some people that we know. Our floors were terribly worn and their product helped but it didn't take care of the problem. We're going to need a full sanding someday. When they're done, your floors and gonna look great. They were gorgeous. I would have wished we could have had more coats put down in some areas that had a lot of wear. He did touch up. The lighting changes during the day and when the light came through at a different time of the day, I saw areas that I should have been aware of. I should have called his attention to say, "Hey, is there a way you can darken these areas up a little bit?" Because when he came in and the lighting was different, it just didn't show up. So I told other people that before they come in, make sure that they observe the floor at different lighting of the day and make note to the area that they would like the workers to give attention to. I was shocked that nothing was dusty afterwards, that I was flabbergasted by. They also helped us move the furniture. We did half a house at a time one day. So we did half of the house and moved the furniture up to the front half of the house and then we did the front half of the house. The polyurethane they used dried surprisingly quickly. We had no problems with it not getting dry or having bubbles. I think it has to be a certain quality of weather for them because it has to be able to dry.

The guy was professional and punctual but it didn’t look like there was much of a difference before and after the work. I wasn’t having him to completely clean the floors but I was expecting it would look like some work had been done. The smell was overpowering even after we moved in but I had thought we would have better floors.

We hit a few snags but they were very professional and at the end of the day the job is great. The floors look really good.

One of the best experiences with a home contractor by far. They were punctual, attentive to detail, professional and did a wonderful job. The job went exactly as it was explained. They took pictures of each room before moving the furniture, did 1/2 of the house day one, the second 1/2 on day 2. Came back on day 3 and put all the furniture back. Everything was perfect. Our floors look better than when we moved in.

During initial interview, explained the service that would be performed and anticipated results. Gave us estimate of $750. On day of job, arrived at exactly the time agreed upon with a visit from the owner to review with us and the staff what was to be done. Two workers who went about their jobs quietly and answered any questions we had. We were able to stay in the home and only the furniture that needed to be moved, was moved. Heavy pieces were moved by the staff. We had to wait two hours after completion of the job before walking on the floors and then in our socks. We were to wait 24 hours before putting furniture back. We had some worn areas in the kitchen as well as some areas that were "roughed up" by a rug being placed on the hardwood. The floors now look amazing. The scarring is gone and the worn areas (where polyurethane had worn off) are gone. We are extremely pleased with the results and frankly, the results are better than we expected. There is some difference in the shine in areas we chose not to do, but this was explained to us by the owner before we made the decision.

Buff and Coat did an outstanding job, were extremely professional and well priced. I have already recommended them to my realtor and hope she recommends Dave to her clients. I would definitely use again though they did such a great job, I don't know when I would need them again. Thank to Dave and his great staff!

Dave and his team did a fantastic job refurbishing my floors. Our floors are 18 yrs old and have been kept in good shape, however, with one dog and a cat they were looking rather scratched with an uneven sheen. Dave came by to give me an estimate and told me it would take about 2.5 days as the job had to be divided over two days with the last half day needed to move the furniture back into place. All I had to do was remove lamps and any other knick knacks. I requested a satin finish as I do not like high or semi gloss finishes. The satin sheen is gorgeous and also hides scratches very well. Dave also uses water-base urethane that dries quickly. We could walk on the finished floors with socks on that evening. Steve did the actual buffing and coating and really knows what he is doing. I am extremely satisfied and have recommended Buff and Coat to my friends and would not hesitate to call Dave again.

I didn’t want them to sand my hardwood floors, I didn’t want to go through the whole sanding procedure and I was hoping they could do some other procedure. Once they described the process to me, it wasn’t appealing and it was kind of expensive, so we didn’t use them. They quoted me $800 for the job. One of their men came out and looked at this space and I am not sure what his criteria was for estimating it but when I pointed out certain things on the floor that I was looking to make sure wouldn't be there anymore, he basically said that their process really would not take care of those. So his process wouldn't do what I wanted done, so it would have been waste of my money. The overall estimation experience was good. When I called, he came out the next day and he was very punctual and professional. I got an estimate right away but after talking to him, I realized it just wasn’t what I was looking for.

Excellent. Dave was professional. We were able to schedule the work quickly and he completed it as promised. The floors looked terrible before his visit and now they look beautiful. He started the work on Friday and had just a bit more to finish on Saturday morning. I appreciated the fact that he wanted to complete the job fully and expertly done.
