Very disappointed. Bone Dry provided us with a proposal & recommendation. They finished their job on a Friday & it rained on Sunday. Not only did almost all their work wash away, leaving us feeling as if they didn’t do a very good job or proper for that matter. But our basement flooded again, proving that the work didn’t do anything. I am extremely disappointed that they never came back to attempt to see how much of their work failed us and completely washed away. I would have expected an outstanding company to stand by their work and make it right. Nothing that they did held up.

I was recommended Bone-Dry through my real estate agent. I had them give a quote for services, which came in 1 1/2 times higher than the next bidder, When I asked why the difference I was told because of their 'lifetime guarantee' that they offer. Cost of service: $5600. This taught me to pay more attention to the fine print. Less than a year and a half later a bearing goes out on the motor and is not covered. Cost: $177. I go to sell my house and the inspector reports the same motor is no longer working, less than 5 years of use. My agent calls Bone-Dry to give an estimate. Cost: $1100! When questioned about their so-called lifetime guarantee, the agent is told that is only on the French Drain they dug and not on any other work. The final straw was when I had the motor repaired by another, more reputable company, and receive a bill. Cost: $75 from Bone-Dry for a service call!!! My recommendation: Avoid Bone-Dry and Brian Payne. There are more reputable companies out there who actually stand by ALL their work.

They were outstanding. They were professional, fast, and they cleaned up very well. They were great. **Just a note, they do not like dogs** **If you have respiratory issues, I recommend staying in a hotel when you schedule them to come out to do insulation work**
Description of Work: They took out the old insulation and replaced it and sprayed and did mold remediation. They also encapsulated the crawlspace. They did french drains and redid a lot of gutters on the house. They dug a trench to the sump pump. They did a lot of work on the house.

They provided a detailed evaluation of the problem we had been experiencing involving water infiltration at the base of our basement walls. They suggested a remedy and provided options to match our immediate and future needs in handling the problem as quickly and economically as possible. We more than likely will undertake a portion of the project once better weather is the norm. We were impressed with their "product" and their very casual and approachable manner. They have subsequently answered our continued questions WITHOUT being pushy or constantly badgering us. $4500 - $8700

Dear Brian Payne and Team, I would like to thank you and your team for the excellent service and support rendered during a crisis time for me regarding my crawlspace problems. The area is no longer cold, which caused pipes to freeze and burst leaving water all over the crawlspace. Never have I met an owner of a company as compassionate as Brian Payne. This company was God sent, their kindness and work ethics will never be forgotten. I look forward to a continued working relationship with bone dry and will always highly recommend them. Sincerely, Stephanie A.

Bone-Dry had 5-10 workers on the job. All were experienced, and everybody worked, even the foreman. They were very courteous and respectful at all times. The job, of course, is to cut a trench around the inside perimeter of the basement and install a sump pump system. This job was different in that there was an old oil tank in the basement that had to be removed. I didn't know if there was oil in the tank, and it turned out it was about half full of fuel oil. They removed all the oil, cut up the tank, and hauled it away. As this was outside the scope of the job, we agreed in advance on the cost. The job took 4 days, and we did the walk-through on the 5th day.
Description of Work: Installed a sump pump system in the basement of the home we just purchased.

Description of Work: The crew came in and removed all the old insulation and carried it away. They treated the crawl space with a mold inhibitor before installing the new insulation.I had french drains installed in the basement with both a pump and a backup pump. I also had wall covering installed in the basement as my house is about 80 years old and is a brick foundation. SInce I live where the soil is very heavy and water was entering the basement through the brick this was the best soultion. WIth the walls installed the water runs behind the wall and goes right into the drainage system. They did they entire hight of the walls which was above and beyond what needed to be done. It does make the space finished. One thing I liked was that the same crew came to work each day. They were on time and worked the entire time they were here. I had the pump drain go to the street. The trench was completed very neatly and the hole through the foundation and curb are not eyesores. I have not had any problems with the system and my basement is so much dryer and my heating bill has dropped due to the crawlspace insulation. The own came to check on the progress and was able to answer my questions and return my calls. He came by after the work was completed to install the pump. The floors were smoothed and the only thing that is noticeable is the different color of the new concrete next to the old.

First of all, they were cheaper than some of their competitors and gave a great estimate. They finished the work on time. I only write reviews for people that have done an outstanding job or poor job. They did an outstanding job! Here is the real story: My husband accidently broke an HDMI cable that was running from our new TV to the other side of the house in our and quot;media closet.and quot; The wires for the TV and speakers run all underneath the house through our crawlspace. Of course, my husband and I debated who was the lucky one to crawl under the house to fix the wires and replace the HDMI cable. I lost the fight due to my husband's clausterphobia and grabbed my flashlight. I crawled under the house and was shocked at how clean and dry the crawlspace was. This was months after the work was done and everything was really dry (even though it just rained). Also, I didn't smell any mold or mildew! The original issue was resolved and you couldn't even tell there was standing water in our crawlspace for who knows how long. I feel so much better that the issue was resolved. I have already recommended this company to a few friends. Specially those buying a new house that has the same issues mine had.
Description of Work: Waterproofing of crawl-space, treatment of mold and fungus and replacement of insulation and vapor barrier
