Absolute Tree of RVA

Exceptionally well! The crew came at the scheduled time and efficiently cut down 6 large trees near the fence of our back yard and adjacent to our swimming pool. Not one branch fell over the fence into our neighbor’s yard nor on the pool. The stumps were ground immediately after they finished, and the area cleaned up. We could not have wished for a better result. The cost was reasonable, given the complexity of the job.

They did a really nice job. No damage to our property even though one tree overhung electric, fiber, and telephone lines and the other tree overhung our neighbors fence and yard. The only area in which I would give them less than excellent marks is regarding cleanup. Their cleanup was good, but I spent about an hour after they left gathering debris.

The owner Ashley was responsive and Professional. Clay, who led the crew and went up into the tree was excellent in knowing how to trim and the crew was amazing with clean up. The trim job was complex and Clay made it look very easy. Price was Great! Highly Recommend!

Owner was difficult to get in touch with to schedule a service date and it took several weeks to finally get something scheduled. Two days before the scheduled service date, I made multiple contact attempts to confirm the appointment as I needed to get the house ready to list for sale, so it was important that this work be completed on time. The day of the scheduled service, no one showed or contacted me. I tried calling the owner's phone and he didn't pick up, so I called their office. Their office had to contact him to find out that he was running behind and had to postpone my service a week. I couldn't trust that this wouldn't happen again, nor could I afford it as it is affecting my ability to sell my house, so I cancelled and went with another company.

I'll leave a short review vs ultra-detailed. The crew was efficient, did good work, and left a clean job site (what more could you ask for!). Pricing was avg vs other quotes. Customer Service - average at best. Called for clarification on the work done and instead of being given an explanation I was given a lecture on the language of a "certified arborist" vs addressing my concerns. I believe I heard "I have 40,000 customers and none have asked for clarification on this" 3 separate times. Very one sided and condescending conversation to be honest. Too bad because the work crew did good work. Looks like the business forgot that every customer should be treated as their only customer. Future business goes elsewhere.

Mark and his associates were true professionals and worked like surgeons with respect to the difficulty of removing the trees from around our home.

I had a pine tree in the backyard that Dominion Power killed burying a new underground cable. Since it was sitting right behind my neighbor's shed, I sort of needed to do something about it sooner rather than later. I got a couple of quotes, one as high as $1800, and eventually settled on Absolute Tree. Working with Ashley and the crew of Absolute Tree was about as easy as I could have hoped for. As a new home owner, I've never had to deal with removing a tree before, especially one that was overhanging someone else's property. Everything was done in a quick, professional manner, and the work, and cleanup, was excellent and exactly as specified in the proposal. I would definitely work with this company again.

The company delivered top notch service! We have already recommended them to family members (who were equally pleased). Absolute Tree was punctual, responsive, courteous, and efficient. Their price also beat two other companies that quoted the job the morning after the storm. We could not believe how efficiently they handled the work. They seemed to have all of the right equipment necessary to perform the task safely and quickly. I also appreciated the fact that they protected our lawn by laying down plywood before driving the stump removal equipment across our rain soaked front yard. I would recommend this company without hesitation! VERY professional!

Ashley Davis and team were awesome! They were prompt, explained the process and did a fantastic job. They actually ended up doing a few houses in our neighborhood because they did such a great job. I couldn't believe how great our yard looked, it was a disaster before they completed the job.
