 + 0 moreWestlake Wash did an awesome job. They came out to look at the roof and walkways and provided an estimate, confident the roof could be clean and look good. They came within the timeframe anticipated, and the difference was night and day. When we purchased the house we were uncertain the roof would come clean and concerned we might need a new roof. However, when they were finished, it looked like a new roof and the brick walkways and patio were back to the original red instead of slimy green and black. Quick response, both through phone and email, came when scheduled and high quality results. Prompt billing, also through email, which I appreciate.
Description of Work: Cleaned a very dirty roof - was covered in very thick moss and pressure washed brick walkway and patio, also covered in mildew and moss.

roof cleaning
 + -1 moreThe Westlake Wash team arrived and within two hours had completed their work on the roof of our house as well as the roof of our boathouse. Both structures look absolutely amazing! And they told us the washing should keep our roof free of staining for three years. We couldn't be happier with the job.
Description of Work: Although the roof on our house is only 12 years old and is in perfect condition, it had built up those ugly black stains that really take away from the curb appeal. Both for safety considerations (who wants to wash their own roof) and the aesthetics of making our house as appealing as possible, we contacted several roof washing companies. We live at Smith Mountain Lake, so several of the companies we contacted in Roanoke simply didn't want to make the drive. Several others said they would send an estimate and never showed up. One contractor said he did roof-washing on the side, but it wasn't his main business. Westlake Wash was enthusiastic on the phone when we called them and gave us a specific date of when they would provide the estimate. Their follow-through was perfect. We hired them!

Description of Work: they pressure washed outside of house. Did not touch outsides of gutters, which I thought would be included. didn't tell me when they would perform service-just showed up when I was not home. Broke into screen porch-to clean. Knocked paint off all mouldings. Somehow water ended up under garage door facing and I had to take apart to drain. When I complained to owner re quality of work he did send somone back out to hit spots missed. Said the rest of damage was my fault and that I was hard to deal with-he had talked to some people that knew me-and that I would give him trouble. Alan was extremley unprofessional.

 + 0 moreThe log home hadn't had any stain applied in over 20 years and the finished product was excellent. Had nothing to pick up after the job and they didn't have to come back to do anything that they promised to do and hadn't. The old windows looked like new after they were washed. Above expectations.
