Poor-quoted one estimate and then denied the estimate and didn't want to do the work.
Description of Work: Spoke with Danny Hur to get estimate to reattach iron security bars to windows on rowhouse after new windows installed. Quoted me $250 for the job. Called a few weeks later to schedule site visit and Danny said he would call me back once he checked his schedule. He called back to say that he never quoted me the price that he said and there must be some misunderstanding. I asked him what he would charge and he said he couldn't do the work and abruptly hung up. Very strange and unprofessional-needless to say, I won't be ever dealing with this company again. THEY ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE.

Jennifer and an assistant arrived 1/2 hour late and had forgotten to bring some of the material they required. The presentation was rushed and not well done. Jennifer promised to fax photos showing work they had done. No photos were received. Have not heard from them.
Description of Work: No work was performed. The request was for an estimate to provide and install an iron handrail for my steps and walkway.

Although handled entirely over the phone and through mail, this transaction was efficiently executed and was a very pleasant customer experience. I had been given outrageous estimates over the phone from other companies I found on Angie's List to do this work- one even told me it would be $450 just to come to my house to look at it. After searching the phone book, I located Wonil Iron Works in my neighborhood. Although I had some trouble initially getting to talk to the right person and played phone tag a bit, I eventually spoke with Jennifer and explained what I thought needed to be done. She drove over, took a look at it, called me back, and agreed that only portions of the railing would need to be repaired/replaced. They performed the work within 2 weeks of our conversation, called me to check and make sure it was done well (which it was), and then sent me an invoice. From start to finish, a very professional job.
Description of Work: They repaired/replaced several portions of my front step iron railing that had rusted through.
