Style Roofing

Style Roofing was responsive, engaged and very professional. From the time that I first made contact with Bill, right through to the completion of the project, the work was done on time, on quote and handled with a personal touch. Our new roof and gutter system looks great. The Style Roofing crew took care to ensure that any of my questions were promptly addressed and they completed the job with a clean sweep of the property before leaving. It is a pleasure to work with a company that takes pride in the product it delivers. At this point, Style Roofing has exceeded all of my expectations.

Style Roofing more than substantiated our selection of it to install a new flat roof. The company's roofers were awesome--punctual, responsive, and professional. The roofing job was complex, to say the least, but the company took the problems in stride and performed a first-class job. Highly recommend!

I evaluated five potential roofers that I screened using Angie's List and another source. I chose Nick and the Style team and was glad I did. After ignoring our 23 year-old roof for too long, we had to move quickly when we had a leak. Nick was the first to commit to a time he could come out and do the fix. As part of his visit, we discussed the replacement. Nick was the most thorough of anyone I spoke with (and they were all good). He clearly explained the options and the materials. He even left me a slate sample, so we could consider going that route (did not because we were installing solar). The bids I got were not too far apart. I think he was on the lower end, but not the lowest. On installation day, the team was great - on-time, efficient, and left everything ship shape. Highly recommended.

They are very punctual. After arrangement for the service date, it was hard to contact on the phone.

He arrived on time and was polite, and professional. He was honest and knew what he was talking about. He came across as very trustworthy and said I didn't need a new roof at this time. When I need a new one in 3 or 4 years, I'll call him back!

They are excellent and I have recommended them to my neighbors. Their prices are very reasonable. I got three different estimates and they were in the middle. They replaced everything. They were very timely, they came in and they put everything up in a day. They cleaned up their mess and they were courteous. They explained everything that they were going to do. They did what they said they were going too. They even replaced my skylight.

They did an excellent job. The price was less when compared to others and quality of roof is good. They were really good.

Style roofing was prompt in looking at the old roof and providing an estimate. Of the four estimates, including Style, received we chose Style Roofing because they were highly recommended and they provided the best estimate. Bill Rafferty provided the estimate and was very knowledgeable and informative. They arrived on time and completed the roof in one day. All debris was cleaned up and taken away. The roof looks great and we have had no problems. The only thing that I was not happy with was the new skylights. Apparently the size of our old skylights was no longer being made. The new skylights were a litter bigger. My husband was able to make cosmetic changes on the interior and they look fine.

My overall experience with Style Roofing was Grade A. While we were unable to afford a complete roof replacement, Style was kind enough to suggest a repair, even though it was not something they were able to perform. I would definitely consider them for our impending roof replacement sometime in the next couple years. Thanks Style.

They were always very prompt and responsive as far as getting back to me. The quality was very good and prices extremely reasonable.

Mr. Rafferty was prompt in providing the original work estimates for the property we were purchasing. He was the low bidder but the closing was delayed and he wasn't called to do the work until a couple of months later. He honored the original estimates without hesitation. When the various work crews arrived they worked fast and efficient and the workmanship was simply top notch. Each work crew was anxious to make the customer happy and they did just that! All of the work was done in a first class manner and I highly recommend Style Roofing.

WE RECEVIED ESTIMATES FROM EIGHT COMPANIES. STYLE ROOFING WAS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE ALL THE OTHERS EVEN IN THE ESTIMATE PHASE. BILL CAME WITH A PACKET OF INFO ON ALL THE MATERIAL THEY USED, REFERENCES OF EVERY SINGLE ROOF THEY HAD INSTALLED IN THE LAST YEAR, A COPY OF THEIR LICENSE, INSURANCE, AND JUST ABOUT ANYTHING A HOMEOWNER COULD AND SHOULD ASK OF A CONTRACTOR. I HAD TO ASK FOR REFERENCES FROM ALL THE OTHER COMPANIES, AS WELL AS PROOF OF INSURANCE AND LICENSE. BILL ARRIVED AT OUR HOME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD AND PRESENTED SAMPLES OF THE PRODUCTS THEY USED. HE THEN CLIMBED UP ON THE ROOF AND CHECKED EVERYTHING OUT. WE WERE ABLE TO EVEN LOOK AT THE TYPE OF STACKS THEY USE (HE BROUGHT A SAMPLE)...THEIRS WAS MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING ANYONE ELSE SHOWED US...EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMED TO BE STANDARD, AND KIND OF CHEAPLY MADE THAT THE OTHER COMPANIES OFFERED. WHILE ON THE ROOF, BILL NOTED THE LOW SLOPE OF THE SCREENED PORCH ADDITON. HE WAS THE ONLY CONTRACTOR WHO BOTHERED TO NOTE THIS, AND SUGGEST A PRODUCT SPECIFIC FOR THIS TYPE OF ROOF. IN FACT, HE DID NOT RECOMMEND SHINGLES LIKE THE OTHERS FOR THAT AREA, AS HE SAID HE KNEW THEY WOULD EVENTUALLY FAIL. WHEN I QUESTIONED THE OTHER CONTRACTORS, NO NO ONE ELSE COULD COME UP WITH ANOTHER SOLUTION!! ONCE ALL THE ESTIMATES WERE IN, IT WAS KIND OF A NO BRAINER....BILLS WAS THE BEST AND THE MOST COMPLETE ESTIMATE. HIS WAS ALSO THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. WE WERE NOT LOOKING OFR A CHEAP JOB, BUT HIS PRICES WERE ABSOULUTELY THE BEST, AND IN SOME CASES, FOR THE EXACT SAME KIND OF SHINGLE THAT WAS OFFERED BY OTHER COMPANIES. WE OFFERED A DEPOSIT, BUT BILL REFUSED, AND STATED THAT THEY NEVER TOOK A DIME UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT, AND WITHIN 2 WEEKS WERE SCHEDULED. THE MATERAILS ARRIVED THE DAY BEFORE, AS BILL HAD CALLED TO EXPLAIN AND WERE PLACED ON THE ROOF. ON THE DAY OF INSTALLATION, THE CREW SHOWED UP ON TIME AND READY TO GO. THEY TOOK SHORT BREAKS AND LUNCH, BUT THE JOB WAS COMPLETE WITHIN A DAY. I WANT TO ALSO NOTE HERE THAT THE CLEAN UP WAS WONDERFUL....I DID NOT FIND ONE PIECE OF DEBRIS, NAIL, OR ANYTHING IN THE YARDS OR FLOWER BEDS. IT WAS LEFT IMMACULATE...SOMETHING WE APPRECIATE AS WE HAVE SMALL DOGS THAT WILL EAT ANYTHING THEY FIND IN THE YARD.... THIS IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE PART. WE THOUGHT WE WOULD BE GIVING A CHECK TO THE CREW WHEN THEY FINISHED....NOPE, THEY CLEANED UP, AND QUIETLY LEFT. IT WAS A FRIDAY AFTERNOON, SO I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE FOR BILL THAT I THOUGHT THEY HAD FORGOT THE CHECK....HE CALLED ON MONDAY, AND INFORMED ME THAT HE WOULD JUST SEND A BILL , AND I COULD DROP IT IN THE MAIL WHEN I GOT THE BILL. IN THIS DAY AND AGE, IT WAS REFRESHING TO WORK WITH A CONTRACTOR WHO TRUSTED US AS MUCH AS WE TRUSTED THEM. WE WERE REALLY APPREHENSIVE ABOUT HAVING THE ROOF DONE. BILL TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING, SEND OUT A EXPERIENCED, QUALIFIED CREW, AND INSTALL A QUALITY, GREAT LOOKING ROOF FOR US. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCES.

It was the first time I used them. The price was really good. All the other estimates I got were quite a bit more. I was very pleased.

My old cedar shingle roof literally had shingles blowing off of it even in a light wind. Style Roofing gave me an estimate to replace them that was expensive (it's a very large roof and the shingles had to be put on individually) but completely fair and in line with what I expected. The process was explained to me in detail, all of my questions were answered, and I knew exactly what to expect when the roofers arrived. What I did not expect was the superb level of efficiency with which they worked for the entire five days they were at my home. I could not have asked for a more professional crew. They were very careful about shrubbery around the house as they took off the old shingles. Each evening they hauled away whatever trash there was from that day's work, storing all equipment, and leaving my home as if no one had even been there. They came back each morning and set everything up again. It's been over a month and I have yet to find one stray shingle, one piece of plywood, one nail in my yard. As to the process of replacing the roof, each cedar shingle was trimmed on site and nailed in individually. All flashings were replaced as well as any worn or rotting plywood. The project was a sight to behold! A few weeks later, after the new cupola I ordered arrived, they came back and installed it for me as well. The new roof is beautiful! I wish there were a way to give them A+++ on everything they did. I would (and have) recommended them to everyone and would absolutely use them again -- though I won't need to; those shingles are guaranteed for 40 years.

Style Roofing was very efficient, responsive, and did the work as scheduled.

They were very professional and punctual. He went up on the roof and examined the damages. He said the roof shingles are still in good condition; perhaps last another 5 to 7 more years. I really appreciate his honesty. He also gave me a few tips on where to find good roof repair person. I know who to call now when I need the entire roof replaced.

As stated above, it started well but ended poorly.

We spoke with Bill Rafferty. He was very professional and easy to work with. They arrived on time for meetings and service, cleaned up all debris, and were very professional. We would use them again and have recommended them to friends.

Style Roofing had initially came out to give us an estimate and the prices beat all of the other estimates we had done. After having the estimate done, there was a huge storm that came through and we asked the company if they would still honor the estimate they gave us and they did. They did everything we asked and we received a quality architectural shingled roof for thousands less than others had paid. We are very happy with their service of the work done.

Price was average (some estimates were lower, some higher), but they were quick to provide the estimate and easy to deal with. I did have to leave a message a couple times during business hours, but they got back to me fairly promptly. Only minor issue was with whatever machine they used to get the new shingles up on my roof -- it left a depression in my lawn where the foot or support for the machine stood. Roof work itself was fine, and cleanup was thorough. No problem recommending them or using them again.

Style (the owner) provided an estimate the day after I contacted them. It was by far the lowest bid - $500 less than two others. There was no charge for the estimate. The entire process was completely transparent to me after that other than providing the approximate date the job would be done. A couple of week after the estimate, I noticed shingles on my roof. The next day, a crew of six came and did the complete roof installation including ridge vent in three hours. They spread tarps to catch all the debris and cause no damage to my house or yard. This was one of the most efficient operations I've ever seen. Highly recommended.

This company was incredibly easy to work with. A contractor recommended them to me. Bill came out to do the estimate for a variety of jobs (the old part of the roof, the old plus the new, the new only). We have a small and chronic leak that Bill came up with a solution for, which I cannot yet confirm works, but did make sense to several people when I talked to them about it. he noticed an existing porch roof that was nearly flat and told me it never should've been covered with shingles, it should've been covered with a metal or rubber sheet. He installed this for me. The shingles on that part of the house were in abysmal shape (installed with previous owners). The final job cost was consistent with the estimate. Bill came over to my house when I wasn't there to drop off samples to help me choose which type of shingle I wanted. He recommended an upgraded shingle that every one of my neighbors has commented on over the past weekend. It looks fantastic. Bill's crew arrived early in the morning and was very large (maybe 10 people). That allowed them to complete the work in one day, which I appreciated. The men cleaned up every trace of the shingles they pried from the roof. There is a very small piece of my house that needed to be painted and the only way to get to it is by standing on a very steep piece of the roof. One of Bill's guys agreed to paint it for me, which was an enormous help. My husband and I were terrified to try and stand on that piece of the roof and paint! I highly recommend this company. We had at least four contractors out to discuss this difficult roofing situation. Bill's price was consistent with others, but his problem solving seemed to be better. I've made several calls to this company and they have always been easy to get in touch with, and have returned calls promptely when they weren't immediately available.

Nick showed up promptly for the estimate. Explained thoroughly and in detail what the roof needed. Gave me options for the work - no hard sell tactics. Work was scheduled and crews showed up exactly when scheduled. Took care in protecting shrubs & flower beds around house. Clean up was extremely thorough. Work was completed in one day. Saw another house (much smaller than mine) having a new roof put on. It took 2 days for that work to be completed. Nick explained that they like to bring in enough help to get the roof on in one day to avoid inconveniencing the homeowner. It's was very nice to be treated with respect by a contractor! Would highly recommend Style roofing.

Style Roofing was recommended to us by a neighbor. I was immediately impressed by Nick Perkins in terms of in his attentiveness and pleasant demeanor when he came to the home to determine an estimate. A date for the work was promptly set. The Style Roofing installers were most impressive. There was no question that they knew exactly what they were doing. They were professional and efficient. The entire project was completed in one day. I dealt with both Nick and Bill Rafferty, and from beginning to end, a project that could have been intimidating turned out to be a really worry-free and satisfying business experience.

I haven't decided if I am going to use them or not. He was very timely in arriving and giving me the estimate. He was very nice and prompt. His quote seemed to be within a reasonable budget. I am considering them for the job.
