Description of Work: Very professional organization. John super nice guy as is his son and team. Would recommend to others.

Description of Work: Refurbished asphalt driveway with a 2-inch asphalt topper. Edges were nicely cut in and angled to meet the original driveway edge and walking paths. Work was not completed on the tentative schedule we set; though, weather was an apparent issue with that process. Also, the consistency of the 2-inch topper is a bit on the rough side; sort of like gravel formed and glued together. Maybe this is typical of this type of work; not sure and there was no explanation. Was hoping for a smoother surface to limit some of the breakdown of the surface during the winter freezes. Will definitely need to seal it this year so that the surface won't deteriorate during fluctuations in weather temperatures.

Description of Work: Repaved our driveway. They did an excellent job. The surface is very regular, and they shaped the surface well, so that the driveway drains well.

Description of Work: They were more than twice the price of other quotes we had gotten and so hoped that the quality would be better. However, there were weeds still sticking out of the cracks that were sealed over and a small pile of dirt on the driveway that was also sealed over as well (and quickly the sealing came off of that area). We had pointed out these items to the guy before he did our driveway and he said it would be no problem, however, obviously it was. When we called back to have it fixed, there was a slow response and we had to call them back a second time to have them fix it. We felt that the job was very sloppy for the price. The driveway is sealed and protected now, but with a lot of mess.

Description of Work: Applied 2-3 inch layer of asphalt paving over existing asphalt driveway. Took a few weeks to get the work scheduled, but the job took less than 4 hours to complete once the crew arrived. They did a very neat and professional job, including cutting out about 2.5 feet of the old driveway paving where it joins to the garage. I couldn't be more pleased. And the Angie's List "deal" was great. It saved me a fair amount of money.

Description of Work: It was a deal for $179 driveway asphalt sealcoating. It was okay. The quality of the work was not that good. They were very responsive.

Description of Work: Contractor arrived on time and after inspecting drive determined it was not in good enough condition to apply the sealant. I appreciate the honesty of this contractor.

Description of Work: Resealed asphalt driveway. They took awhile to reply to my initial inquiry for an estimate and when I did get a response I received two different quotes from two different representatives, but once that confusion was settled, they were quick to respond to questions, scheduled an appointment in a timely manner, and completed the job ahead of schedule. I am happy with the job at this point, but will need to update this review once I see how the surface survives next winter. | |I would hire them again.

Description of Work: My mother needed her driveway re-surfaced. She originally thought the whole driveway needed to be removed and replaced, but John Donohue came over to estimate the job, and he told her the base was solid, so only an additional two inches of asphalt was needed. He sent a crew of 8-9 workers who arrived on time, with lots of heavy equipment, and finished the job by 1:00 in the afternoon. They did excellent work, and we are very happy with the results.
