Grandparents needed a lawn mowing every 2 weeks. Asked to have the grass cut short, gave them two chances to do a good job. Trimming was not done right, backyard was cut sloppy. It took less than 5 minutes to cut front and backyard, it's apparently a race for them, since they are cutting other properties at the same time.

Very good service. It's usually just a day later than I was told it would be, but that's not a problem. And the price is reasonable, based on others I've seen.

Grasshopper has maintained my yard for 3 years and I would highly recommend them. They are very reliable and communication with Fay is easy and professional. Anytime I had a request or question, Fay would get right back to me immediately. They offer a menu of services, from weekly grass mowing to full yard and hedge maintenance. I found them easy to work with on scheduling and when I had dogs and needed to have a regular day for mowing (so I could make sure the yard was 'clean' and the dogs in the house during their visit) it was no problem at all. They are willing to work with you to make sure you get the service you want.

We've used another service in the past where the guys just mowed the lawn and left all the grass clippings all over the place. In order to prevent the grass underneath from dying, we had to rake it up after they left... I wish I could remember their name. Anyway, I was pleased to see that GrassHopper actually used their clipping grates to catch the grass, they edged everything nicely and even cleaned up all the excess clipping from the driveway and walkway. I'm very pleased with their work and will be looking forward to additional services (Fall Cleanup) from them!

They were punctual and did everything as described - and it looked better then when I do it. They cleaned up all the debris. They also trimmed the grass around the bushes - I didn't know this was included in the service, so it was a pleasant surprise. The yard looked better than ever after!

They were prompt and courteous. Contacted me when they needed to reschedule due to unexpected late snow and showed up ready to work. Ensured that I was pleased with what was done prior to leaving for the day. They kept a very clean and orderly work-site and I would definitely use them again.

This is a small family owned business that performs better than the big name companies. After using one of the big name lawn care contractors for a year, I was not happy with my lawn. Based on Angie's List recommendations, I called Grasshopper Landscaping for an estimate for lawn maintenance. They were extremely responsive and came to my house and went over every detail of what I wanted done. They provided me a quote for weekly and biweekly mowing and periodic fertilizer services which was less than the amount I had paid the big name service. After a few months service my lawn looks better than it ever has. Neighbors have asked me who does my lawn care and I happily recommend Grasshopper. Unlike the big name services, they provide one time or periodic services to meet your needs. They are professional and responsive to my request for a change in services to fit my needs. Their work is professional and high quality and they clean up the site when they are done. Based upon my dealings with them, I would not hesitate to recommend Grasshopper for any lawn or landscaping services.

Family owned business, they get back to you immediately with whatever questions you have. Very professional and not pushy. I'm very happy with them.

For landscaping I have a local contractor here and it's Grasshopper Landscaping LLC. At this point they are not coming because it is winter. They finished the overall work. They come in every two weeks for mowing, trimming and edging. They did aeration, overfeeding and fertilization. They will start again next month. Biweekly they come in for edging and trimming and mowing. They send the invoice and I pay them off. I have tried a lot but these guys were the cheapest. Without any hassles they do a lot of extra work there.
