Timber Works Tree Care

Timber Works Tree Care does fantastic work. I live in a heavily wooded area and there was a lot of deferred maintenance and storm damage to trees along the street line, driveway and around the house that needed to be removed or trimmed without endangering the surrounding areas. Every tree was trimmed and felled carefully and efficiently including an enormous white pine growing well over my home’s roofline. In addition to this, the trees that only needed trimming look beautiful and clean up was meticulous. It was a big job and they got it done in a single day! Excellent.

The price quoted was substantially less than the competing quote. Although the work was expected to take 3 days it only took 2. The workers did their jobs quickly, professionally and skillfully. They took care to minimize tearing up the lawn around the house despite the rain and soft ground. Work was done as agreed, and to my satisfaction. Branches and twigs left over, were neatly removed afterwards.

I asked Timber Works to remove 3 trees. The showed up and in just a few hours had removed them all and removed the stumps and large roots. You almost never knew there were trees in the yard before. The crew was respectful and cleaned up after themselves. The Timber Works bid was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, however I believe I got a good value for my money.

I joined forces with another neighbor on the mountain, and, separately, we had the same 4 companies examine our properties and give us an estimate for removal. The result? One word ! EXCELLENT ! Having used Timber Works previously, at home, I chose them to do work at our business in Linden. Courteous, professional, fast and god value for the work done. I will use them again and again. Having been in business for 60 years, ourselves, I respect anyone who performs what they promise. Not many have this work ethic today. Quick, clean, courteous, professional

They showed up on time and did the work exactly as we discussed. Crew was friendly and explained the process to me and my family. One of the oak trees had a 24" diameter and was three feet from my shed and fifteen feet from the house. Everything went smoothly. We actually had them drop two additional trees.

We had a very good experience with Timber Works. They showed up at 7:30, exactly when they were scheduled, and were done by lunch. I paid for 7 trees to be removed from my property. The crew cut them down, chipped, and stacked what couldnt be chipped. They even raked up all the debri including the leaves on the ground. I wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend them to anyone looking for a tree service.

Timber works removed the branch from the house immediately, came back a few days later and took down the rest of the damaged tree before it fell and did some much needed pruning on another tree. He didin’t ask for any payment until the entire job was completed.

Jack was very responsive and the team was able to come out the same day. They were efficient and at a reasonable price. Would recommend to family and friends.

Timber Works removed several trees from our yard. They did an excellent job, were pleasant, professional, and hard working. They cleaned up all brush, stacked wood as requested, and did all work quickly and efficiently. I am having them do more work in the yard this Fall. Jack Donohue was very attentive to all of our needs. He took the time to listen to all questions and thoroughly addressed everything to our satisfaction. I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend their services.

Jack the owner came out the day after my initial call, performed an estimate, and marked the trees. Two men from his crew arrived on the day promised and made very short work of the trees and put them right where I wanted them...out of the way. The crew was very prompt, professional, and courteous. They performed the work quickly and the final price matched the estimate. They even stayed a few minutes and chatted. Gave me some very good advice to help get my wife and adjusted to our new home here on "the mountain." The best thing, other than good conversation, is now we also have a nice view from our rear deck. It's not very wide but gives a view across the valley clear to the Masanutten mountain range. Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks guys!!!

Very quick contact and Jack came out the next day to assess the work and discuss options. Sent estimates through the same day that beat the competition to take down 6 large dangerous/dead oak trees. Team on-site the next day to take care of the job and went beyond the original scope of work without charge. Throughout the work, the team were pleasant to deal with, Jack kept me updated on progress and they exceeded my expectations on the job. I have no hesitation recommending them - top for value, top for customer service and top for quality of work.
