It went well. The crew arrived on time, completed the job in a workman-like manner, and thoroughly cleaned up the site. They were friendly and knowledgeable . I would hire them again.

It could not have been better. The two men assigned to the task did their work in a highly professional manner. Cordial and pleasant to deal with, both knew their work and performed it exceptionally well. One of the trees required a unique solution in its removal. I will have them back for more work.

The gentlemen from Timber Works were amazing, from the bid process to job completion. They were polite, punctual, professional, safe and kept a clean job site (which due to a situation with neighboring property owners was extremely important to us). Communication during the job was great and the response time to inquiries (by either email or phone) was very prompt. We could also see that the entire crew had a strong knowledge of their occupation, which as a customer gives you confidence that the job will be done right. We would recommend them to anyone who needs tree removal, trimming or other work done and we will absolutely use them again if we have the need. Fantastic group! Thanks Timber Works!

The Timber works owner arrived promptly to evaluate the job and give an estimate. The scope and cost of the job was emailed to me and I confirmed. A time slot to do the job came open within 3 days and I gave the green light to begin. The three man crew showed up promptly at the agreed time. This crew was extremely polite and professional. They walked the job with me and got right to it. I was impressed with the way each crew member was outfitted in safety gear. The gear was new, clean and appropriate for the job. One crew member climbed a tree with full harness, spikes and ropes. This crew was all business. Each member knew what to do and how to approach the job. I was impressed that once a cut or procedure was completed they neatly organized their tools and gear rather than leaving it about. They used a state of the art articulating utility vehicle to assist in the job. This vehicle had turf tires that left no marks or ruts in my damp lawn. At the end of the job the crew cleaned up, stowed gear and reloaded the vehicle. They summarized what had been done and arranged for me to be invoiced and pay online. From beginning to end I was highly impressed with the knowledge, skills and interpersonal abilities of the Timber Works crew. Their price was more than fair. Work was done earlier than I anticipated and the result was above my expectations. This company will be my first choice for any future tree work.

I have used Timber Works twice, once to remove several trees, and then a year later as a source of firewood. I was very pleased on both counts. For the tree removal, the company offered me a good price to have all eight trees removed or trimmed at one time, which was nice. The work was done on schedule, efficiently and quickly. I was very happy. As to the firewood, it was of good quality, and delivered on schedule. I will certainly not hesitate to use Timber Works again, and I have recommended them to my neighbors.

I wish all companies were as easy to work with. Timber Works immediately replied to my online request for a quote, they provided a detailed overview of the job and followed up to make sure I was pleased. I am. Professional, responsive, timely and respectful. Great people.

We had a fairly large job for a homeowner. A number of old trees grew very closer and over our newly purchased home. We contacted several tree services to come look at the project and provide an estimate of the work and costs. Right away, we liked Jack! Timber Works isn't just concerned with taking trees down. They have certified arborists who also care about conservation and the health of the trees remaining. Our job took 3 days to complete and included climbers, a bucket truck, several tractors, chipper, and numerous trucks hauling away the debris. The workers had obstacles such as the house/deck, shed, electrical lines, propane tank, well, and septic system to work around. We appreciate that this company is safety conscious. All workers wore hard hats, eye protection, hearing protection, and no open jackets or anything hanging that could get caught in a chipper. Several of the workers wore microphones/ear pieces to communicate with each other, which is very important when trying to precisely drop branches and trunks so as not to fall on the house! The men cleaned up each night, stowing all their gear and generally raking and clearing up as they went. Jack met with us and reviewed what had been completed each day and what to expect the next. These guys were all friendly and professional. After the trees had been removed, they ran a "mulcher" over the property that had been cleared, mulching all the remaining leaves and small branches so that the ground will be ready to seed in the spring. Timber Works not only met our expectations, but far exceeded our expectations! We are looking forward to working with them over the next year or so as we clean up our five acres of heavily wooded property!

This time to remove two large branches dangling over my cabin, two dying and very tall pine trees and general cleanup of piles of fallen tree logs. Just like the first time Jack, Joe and company did an outstanding job. From the fast free emailed estimate to the on time and professional crew and to payment online at the end of a job well done it was an absolute pleasure. The crew kept me in the loop as they worked and never shied away from my questions. They were very responsive to concerns I had and addressed them immediately. They finished ahead of schedule and the work they did turned a mess of a back yard full of trees into a park that I can enjoy. Finding a reliable contractor is tough and it's nice to know that I can have the best when I need them with out any hassle. Highly recommended!

They showed up on time with a 4 man crew that was properly outfitted for the task of tree removal, tree trimming, and bush removal. These guys were pros and knew exactly what they were doing. The crew chief checked with me regarding my happiness of their work periodically. Timber Works is a professional outfit and I would hire them again.

We are thrilled with the results. The awesome forestry mulching machine ground unwanted growth to a coarse mulch that will provide a good medium for planting pasture grass. Our beautiful view has been restored.

Timber Works is one of the best businesses that I have ever contacted. They were quick to respond to my request for info and an estimate. The crew was amazing…polite and willing to answer any questions…on the job quickly with great attention to safety…careful of my property (old fencing) not doing any damage….inspiring to watch them work, so coordinated …..clean up was ALL done by the crew….there was nothing left for me to do…I would and I will contact them in the future for more trim work..

Had a large river birch and the root system that ran throughput the yard removed. Jack Donohue, the owner, showed up on time to give me an estimate. I could tell from the way Jack handled himself and assessed the job that he was very thorough and professional. Estimate was competitive .. not lowest, not highest. Crew showed up on time and conducted themselves completely professionally and courteously. Grinding the stump and roots took more time than anticipated but the crew never gave a hint of rushing the job. Cut and stacked the wood for firewood. Cleanup of my property and the street was complete. Overall, an outstanding job. I highly recommend them and don't think you will be unhappy with any aspect of a job done by Timber Works.

The original estimate was timely and reflected the work that we had discussed. Office was very responsive to questions and scheduling concerns. On the day of the job an excellent crew of three arrived on time, walked the site and got right to work. They checked in frequently to make sure that we were happy with their progress. They were very conscientious about safety and worked in a timely manner. The owner, Jack, stopped by to check on progress. A truly class act. Very professional. We will definitely have them do more tree cleanup and mulching in the future.

I would definitely recommend Timber Works for all of your tree clearing needs. Jack and his crew were professional and used specialized equipment (Tree Mek) along with other standard tree clearing equipment to complete the work. Timber Works completed the work on time and the site was cleaned up prior to their demobilization.

I had four tress removed one time and an ash with wires through the limbs and no ground around to just drop even a branch removed the second. Men worked as a comfortable team and had passers-by in awe. Clean up was perfect. Good work for an honest price!!!!
