S & S ROOFING

Eddie sent his crew out to repair our roof and replace cracked vent pipes earlier than anticipated, and that was appreciated. I thought everything went as per the work order because I could see where the roof was replaced over the sunroom. I could also see at least one new vent pipe collar from a back window so I assumed he replaced the three he charged me to replace. Now my roof is leaking again, this time in the back bathroom- new dripping hole in the ceiling. Went up on the roof and found out 2 of the three vent pipe collars were not replaced. I should have gone up on the roof to see what work was done after his crew left. Now I’ve got more ceiling to fix and still have two vent pipes to replace. Getting even more irritated about no response to my calls. Workers make mistakes sometimes. If he could rectify this issue I would appreciate it.

I made an appointment with Eddie Sealock of S & S Roofing to look at my roof. He was supposed to show up yesterday so I took down my tarp for him to look at it. He never showed up and I received no messages from him telling me he would not come. Now there is further damage due to the tarp not being in place.

Mr. Sealock and his company have been providing roofing services in Northern Virginia for almost 30 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. His company completely replaced the roofing that had begun to leak (from a prior roofer) and he guaranteed his work for the life of the shingles. On two earlier occasions I had called him on mid-winter (because of very heavy snow-falls) to come and repair leaks, which he did - without charge, His current visit was intended to extend down spouts that had been installed by an earlier roofer and which were placed in a manner that resulted in large amounts of water emptying onto certain areas of the roof. Once again - although this was not within the scope of his roofing job - he fixed the problem because he thought he should have foreseen the ramifications of an earlier faulty job done by another contractor. He refused to accept any compensation. That sort of integrity and pride in workmanship is very hard to find these days and I heartily recommend this company to people looking for a reliable and professional roofer. He stands by his word and work and is a real gentleman.
