When we called Mr. Ruffner said he could service our tank within one week however he had several prior appointments and would call as his schedule became more clear. He asked that if he was able to accommodate our job could he call at the last minute to service our tank. Late that same afternoon Mr. Ruffner called, our schedules were compatible and he was able to service tank. In addition to the pumping service Mr. Ruffner provided a bit of a tutorial relative to the proper care of a septic system. His service was totally professional in every way and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I called Ruffner's Septic Service on Monday asking when they could come pump out my septic tank. Paul responded that if his schedule for the week went as expected, he thought he could come out to my home (in High Knob) by the end of the week. He called me on Wednesday and mentioned he was nearby, and he asked if I was available for him to come by within the hour. As it happened I was, and he did. He and his two adult sons showed up about 40 minutes later. Our tank had never been pumped before (almost 15 years), and I knew it was certainly overdue - though we were not experiencing any septic system problems. I showed them where I believed the tank was buried, and using their probing tool they found the cover in about six minutes. In another five minutes they had carefully dug around the cover with shovels and had the cover exposed and removed. By the time 30 more minutes had passed, they had pumped the tank completely empty and they were carefully recovering the tank cover. I watched during the entire process. The guys were friendly, personable, and professional, and their fee was quite reasonable. I simply have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience in using them, and my expectations were exceeded. I give them my highest recommendation.
