 + -1 moreI was starting to lose hope that I'd get a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and well priced (meaning he gave me an accurate price - not too low and not really really high) handyman to do the odd jobs around my house. I called Frank that morning, he was able to fit me into his schedule within 24 hours for a quote, and then my repairs were done only a few days later. I couldn't have asked for much better. I will be recommending him to all my friends in the area.

 + -1 moreAt first he was helpful and flexible. We grew tired of the poor quality of work, of his yelling after his help which he frequently left alone to take care of the work while he went on various errands all related to make money on unrelated endeavors. We parted ways after I received an abusing phone call from him. He was upset that I refused to advance him money on work not yet performed. This man is the poster child = a vivid example why anyone having work done should check Angie's list first.
Description of Work: a variety of "fixes" this cummulative amount covers what he was paid during the 2013.

Description of Work: I contracted with Franks Handyman Service to provide Crown Molding in my home. He was scheduled to perform work on my home on or around 09/06/2013. I called to confirm about a week before and he said we on schedule. I called the night before his arrival and he informed he did not want to do the job due to a cold. I asked if he was delayed or did not want to do the job. He replied " I guess I could do it in three or four weeks.". As you would guess we decided not to go forward. Very unprofessional. We hired a different contractor for half the price and a very nice job.
