Andrew Grading and Excavating has done many jobs for myself and our business. The work has been nothing but top notch! His workings are polite, punctual, and communicate every step of the project. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants their job completed correctly.

Received 3 quotes and Andrews was the lowest bid by half the price. My career is procurement so I know you have to ask more questions at this point. Joe would not call me back and only wanted to text and took days to respond each time I asked a question. He would not offer a warranty and the other 2 bidders offered a 1 year warranty. I offered to work with him on warranty language to exclude things that were beyond his control such as a root coming up through the pavement but he wouldn't budge. The worst part is his bid was for only 1 inch of asphalt overlay and the other companies proposed 2 inches. I asked him how much would it be for 2" and he provided an additional cost for the 2". I wanted to discuss why he thought it was ok with only 1" but he still wouldn't call. My neighbor then tipped me off to ask if it was compacted overlay, and Andrews admitted the initial bid was only 1/2 inch compacted! The other companies confirmed their bids were for 2 inches compacted. If you research online it says you need a minimum of 1.5 to 2" of overlay. I then asked him how much it would be for 2" compacted and does he own his own paving equipment and he said he doesn't know what we are talking about anymore (lie: the whole email trail was right there for him to review) and is too busy to do the job. We are now going with another bidder who says his work should last at least 15 years.

They were excellent with communication with phone calls and emails. They came out and checked the work the same day. They did not leave a big mess behind. There were 4 people here doing the work. Their prices were very fair.
