Aire Serv of Bull Run

We had Aire Serv replace our 2nd floor Heat Pump/AC that died shortly after we moved into a 20 yr old house - the first floor heat pump died last week and was leaking freon, so we called them again. Both times they came out the next day to evaluate our systems, and replaced the units the very next day. Same price for the second identical unit even though the prices had gone up since the summer. We were very impressed with the crew's professionalism and friendliness (Tyler and a couple of other nice guys), they wore foot coverings and had the work done in about 4 1/2 hours. They left the area clean and removed the old units, and instructed us on how to program the thermostat. We will definitely use them for any future maintenance that needs to be done, and recommend to our neighbors. Aire Serv is definitely a model for how it should be done- now if only they did remodeling and plumbing/electrical, we'd be in business! (wishful thinking, though).

Crew was timely and professional. All worked performed well within a few hours, incliding indoor and outdoor units.

They treat employees and customers like family. My husband enjoyed working with them very much. The fact that they are family oriented was very important to us. My husband takes great pride in his work and has always felt that Ray and Tina as well as the rest of the team at Aire Serv does the same. They are very active in the community working with The local animal shelter and with local Veterans associations helping to make our wounded warriors more comfortable at home just to mention two. Any company that takes that kind of care and compaction with others including our 4 legged family members is all right in my book.

They did such a good job during this deal, I have an ongoing contract with them now. This was a great find. They are extremely thorough and they call me for tune up reminders.

Builders unit died shortly after warrenty period expired. Obtained estimates from two other companies but prices were high and they merely intended to hang a replacement unit on the side of the house without evaluating our needs. Researched on Angies List and emailed the top company - Aire Serve - at 6:55 AM. Owner responded at 6:58 AM. We discussed the problem and he had a service person at our house early that afternoon. The representative evaluated our needs, measured our existing ductwork and fed the information to his office 50 miles away. By 4:30 PM the owner had made a proposal for a unit that was sized to our home and we reached a deal. His team arrived early the next morning and had the A/C installed by noon. (The other companies advised we would have to wait 1 to1-1/2 weeks for installation.) Aire Serve has since registered the unit with Bryant as part of their service and provided all the paperwork for warranty work if that should be necessary over the next 10 years. I am now retired, but moved frequently for my job. As a result of nearly a dozen moves, we owned a lot of A/Cs and had contact with a lot of A/C companies across the U.S. I have always considered it very important to give an honest and sincere evaluation of performance, and in this instance I waited for a full month to see if Aire Serve lived up to their promises. I can say without reservation that these people have worked hard, and continue every day, to earn the spot on Angie's List. They are the best I have ever encountered.

They did a great job and you can feel the difference since they fixed it. Everybody that works there is very nice and friendly. And I really enjoyed working with them they are very nice people.

I received a reminder of the need to schedule a tune-upin the mail. I called the company and scheduled a date and approximate time (8am to 10am window) for rhw service man to come to the house. The company sent me an email reminder the day before service was scheduled. The service person arrive at 8am, perfomed the tune-up, explained to me what he found and did. Sevice call was over in about 1 hour.

Technician called to say he was running about 10 minutes late. We were, too, so that was good. He wore foot protection as he entered, introduced himself, told us exactly what he was going to do and set about his work. He explained what he was doing as he went, providing rationale for each step. He was professional and knowledgeable. He offered the extra service and explained the benefits. When we decided to add the UV light, another technician delivered it without our even knowing he had come and gone. They honored our coupon with no hassels and we have received subsequent emails (1) telling us how to care for our heat pump in snowy weather------great info, clearly presented, easy to understand. We were very pleased with the company's service and will definitely continue to use them.

They were great. They came on time, they were here for a couple of hours and completed the job. They are very professional. We've used them a few times and would highly recommend them.

the initial visit was very professional. they had pulled our house records and was aware of square footage and other vital info before arriving. they did all the proper measurements of the house and duct work to determine what size unit i needed. calculations said we needed a 60,000 btu unit and a 2.5 ton a/c unit. others who came in for estimates were totally unprepared and unprofessional. all said to go with the 80,000 btu unit and 3 ton a/c. they only saw what we had installed previously. none measured the duct work or square footage of the house. the removal and replacement of the furnace unit was one of the most professional jobs i have seen in many years. the two techs were polite, professional and very knowledgeable. there was an issue with some new duct work they had to install. it was cut to the wrong size. they quickly remedied the situation right there in the field. my only concern was when the county inspector never showed up afterwards to inspect the unit. being we are in a small town we have friends in the building office. after contacting them about an inspection we were told no permits were ever pulled on the replacement of the propane furnace. i was told by the owner he had "forgot " to pull the permit. all is squared away at this time. even though i have concerns about them following building codes in our county i still would trust them and recommend them to others.

On the day of service, the service techs arrived on time, wore shoe mitts and cleaned up after the job. The work was done in a timely manner and I was very satisfied with the job and the cost for services. I will definitely be recommending Ray and his Air Serve team to my friends.

Technician was prompt, personable and cleaned up after himself. He explained what he did, what I can expect to replace in the future. A very pleasant experience!

We are on their maintenance plan so we scheduled a time for them to come out, they showed up at the time promised, they thoroughly checked out our system and we were all set. Having their checkups gives my wife and I the piece of mind to know our system will not go out on the coldest of winter nights or the hottest of summer days like it had before we found Aire Serve.

We had an issue with our system. Their technicians came in and diagnosed the problem. He gave us several solutions and helped us find the one that was right for our budget and home.

I called this company because of the good reviews on Angie's List and it turns out the reviews were justified! My AC died on the hottest week in history during those tremendous power outages / Storms in the DC area. I thought it would take at least a week for someone to come out to my house - This company came to my house 3 hours after I called them the SAME day! Without an emergency charge as well. I am always hesitant to have repairmen come to my house - As I have a very old (But fairly reliable) system and they are always trying to get me to upgrade. I know I need to do it at some point, but I just can't afford it. I was getting ready for him to give me the ole schpiel about how I needed a new one, etc, etc. He surprised me by NOT doing that - He gave me suggestions on how to handle what I had for now - Which was such a relief! The repairman was courteous, explained what i needed - Fixed the issue quickly an effectively! When I finally decide to get a new system, I know who to call! The operators at the office were also friendly and courteous as well.

I called to have my refrigerant level checked in my home a/c system. Technician came out and looked at my system and stated that he thinks I am low on refrigerant, but needs to come back on a warmer day for a more accurate reading. I didn't hear from them, so I called after a couple weeks to ask when they would be out to add the refrigerant. They came back out and added one pound of freon to my air conditioning system. I was charged 400 dollars for the service. I told the technician that sounded very high, and he stated that due to new laws, refrigerant prices have really gone up in cost. After I paid the technician, I called other a/c companies in Front Royal, and the going rate for the work they perfomed is 100 dollars for this area. I called back Aire Serv and told them I thought they took advantage of me and that I called around and found out that they charged me 4 times the going rate in this area for the service they performed. They called me back and said they did overcharge me by about 100 dollars and would refund that back to me. Even though they refunded some of my money, I am still out 300 dollars for a service that should have been 100 dollars.

My air conditioner upstairs had stopped working. I called that morning and they were within 3 hrs. The employee was very professional. He explained exactly what the problem was and fixed it and added the Freon. He checked out the rest of the system to make sure it was all working correctly. I purchased a 1 yr Silver Advantage Plan and made another appointment to have them come and do a 24 point tune-up and safety inspection as the units are 7 yrs old. I will call them again if I have any other problems with my A/C or heating.

The serviceman was on time and very knowledgeable. He reviewed the complete checklist with me to explain how my systems were functions.

They were very professional, courteous, diligent, and smart.

The price was reasonable. It saved me from losing out during the winter then I am satisfied. I did sign up for their yearly contract where they come out twice a year to make sure everything is working the way it is supposed and fix anything that is not.

Their service turned out great. He was very knowledgeable. He explained everything that he did to me. They have a whole page that shows what they checked and how it turned out. The scheduling was the only thing that was a bit difficult, but we did get that sorted out.

They did a great job. My wife was happy with them and signed up with an extended contract. They did good work the second time as well.

Everything has turned out good. They were just very professional. When I called, I had an immediate response. They had to come back because they didn’t have the part on hand that needed to be replaced, but it did not take long. They did a good job. I also have signed up for their annual maintenance for my system.
