Wayne's World Tree Service

My experience with Wayne and his team was excellent. Wayne is courteous, friendly and professional. He returned my phone call right away and was able to come out the next day to give me an estimate. I was most impressed by the teamwork of his crew. They seem to enjoy working together, and have each other's backs as they do their jobs. Before starting the job they discussed what needed to be done, how it would be done and what each person would do. Wayne estimated it would be a two day job and it was completed in one day and two hours the next day. They arrived on time both days. My yard looks great now!

Since he did not own one himself, Wayne had to rent a very large stump grinder to accommodate the stumps left behind after his crew took down the 3 huge poplars, but they didn't finish the job. On day 5 Wayne's crew packed up and left without grinding 2 of the poplar stumps and those stumps have been left to rot in my yard. As evidenced by the attached text message conversation I tried to getting Wayne back out to finish the job for nearly 2 months and despite his promises to make good on the job, he was consistently a no-show. Wayne never came back to finish the job THAT WE PAID FOR, IN FULL.

It all went great. Wayne promptly came on a Friday to give an estimate and was able to have his crew come back and do the work on a Monday. Very efficient.

Went well, although the stump grinding wasn't as complete as I would have liked..

They're incredibly reasonable. They ground the stumps down until they're gone. They clean up their mess.

What was worse was that they covered up the remaining stumps with wood chips so I did not know they left the stumps until I went to clean out the wood chips. I called the owner, and he told me he would send the stump guy back out to do the job. He never showed up. I called again and was told his machine couldn't handle these stumps. Well, now I am left with rotting stumps in my yard. If he had known his machine could not accomplish the job he never should have taken it on or they should have rented a bigger machine to make sure the work was done right. I would never use this guy again.
