Our goal was to minimize future storm damage and to preserve and improve the health and appearance of the trees on our property. Chad toured the property with us, suggested options, and answered our questions. Chad even took time to address concerns raised by our neighbors. He and his workers were on time and very professional. Chad was knowledgeable about how much should be removed from each tree. I watched his crew members carefully select which limbs should be removed. When the selected trees were completed we decided to add one more to be trimmed. Chad and the crew quickly accomplished this. All debris was removed, leaving the yard even neater than before they arrived. We have since had a nasty wind storm and all trees held up well. I would definitely recommend this company.

Because they couldn't use a bucket truck they had to climb the tree and use rope to drop logs. They were very skillful and knew precisely what they were doing.

They were a great team all the way around. Their arrival was right on spot, and they got right to work. Before I knew it, there were chain saws running and trees coming down. The job was done efficiently and professionally in one day with a great final clean-up afterwards. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Chad and his crew were originally scheduled to do the job the morning of Saturday, 14 Jun. He called early Friday, 13 Jun to say a previous job had gone faster than planned and asked if he could come Friday afternoon to do the work. This was great, as it would free up our weekend. The River Birch Tree was close to the house and to the wall of our pond. He used his cherry picker truck to cut this one down and moved all the wood and branches to one side of the driveway so that it was still useable. The Sweet Gum trees were cut using his crew to climb up and cut down by section. It was amazing how quickly and efficiently his crew cut everything down and left the wood and tree limbs piled in an area that was out of the way so that the yard was still very useable. Chad worked with us by providing lots of options and provided estimates/options of cutting and hauling everything away, cutting the trees himself into fireplace log sizes, etc., etc. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He is completely outfitted to cut anything, no matter how tall, how precariously close a tree is to a home or other structures and will work with you on whatever your requirements are. I will use him in the future for any other tree removals, trimming, etc. He is great to work with.

Chad and his team did an excellent job with the tree work I needed done. He had the best price of the quotes I had gotten, by far, and knew exactly what equipment he needed to bring in to get the job done - one of the large trees was dead and he did not feel safe having his guys climb it, so he was able to bring his bucket truck to remove the tree. They left all of the good wood in manageable sizes, as I requested so that I could cut it into firewood, and cleaned up the site when they were done. I was very happy with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone needed trees trimmed or taken down.

Chad responded to my emails and was very patient with me even though I changed my mind several times. When they arrived to do the work, they were on time and immediately got to work, they were done in no time and did an awesome job! I have already recommended him to several of my friends.

We were very pleased with All Top Notch. There's was the best of four estimates we received, and Chad was able to work within our budget by making recommendations and giving us options. He and his crew were professional and efficient from start to finish. They started early and worked through to get the job done quickly. Chad came out at the end of December to give me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable and we agreed upon work starting in mid-January. The 3 person crew (plus Chad) came out at the scheduled time and began work immediately. It took them approximately 7 hours to complete the work. They took down approximately 34 Virginia pines with no damage to surrounding property or other trees. They then cleaned up after. I was impressed that they came out on a particularly cold day and finished in one day. Excellent experience and am already planning on having Chad and his crew come and remove/trim other trees in my front yard.

All Top Notch Tree Services Loved it Chad, the owner of All Top Notch Tree Services was prompt and courteous answering all of my questions. The estimate was reasonable. $1100.00 for crown reduction of three very large trees and removal of two severely over grown Holly bushes. The crew showed up as scheduled, very courteous, the work was completed in a timely manner and my yard was left in perfect condition! I could not be happier and will use Top Notch Tree Services whenever my trees get out of control again.

They cut down the maple tree in sections so as not to damage the surrounding area and structures. They ground the stumps and removed roots. Work was accomplished in a timely and efficient manner. All debris was removed and the area cleaned up. Professional grade equipment and staff.

This was done professionally, promptly and skillfully. The job was completed in a timely fashion, the debris from the trees was collected and the yard left in better shape than they originally found it. What more could you ask?

Chad Kearns, the company owner, came and gave an estimate for the work that I requested. He was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. We agreed on a price and when the work was to be done. His crew showed up on time, and worked hard until the job was complete. They left my yard in perfect shape. I highly recommend this company for any tree work that needs to be done.

Excellent experience. Called Chad on Friday August 30th and he came to my house the next day (August 31st) per my request to perform the job estimate. I considered this to be extremely timely and responsive to our needs. After cost estimating the job, he provided me a written estimate and stated he could perform the job on September 3, 2013, the first work day after the holiday weekend. Again, I was extremely pleased with the responsiveness which was very high on my list. On Monday evening, 24 hours before the actual job date, I called Chad, who was in the office over the holiday, and asked him to cut and remove an additional tree. Knowing that I could not be there during the actual conduct of the job, I was extremely pleased with the results when I inspected the job site. Professional and least intrusive are the adjectives that best describe the work that was accomplished today. I rate it an A++ performance; simply beyond my expectations.

Chad came at the request of our landscaper who was unable to cut down the larger trees. We met with him on Thursday, agreed on a price, and he and his crew came Friday to do the job. Chad and his crew were friendly, professional, extremely efficient.

I called around for several estimates regarding the removal of a number of large trees - some of which were very close to the house. Chad responded immediately and we settled on a mutually convenient time for an estimate. Several days later we agreed on a removal date. When arrival times changed a little, he was quick to call and let me know. When he and his crew showed up, they finished the job in two half-day visits (an afternoon, and the next morning). He really did an amazing job. As promised, he cut the trees, hauled off the considerable amount of wood, then raked things back into place, and took a leaf-blower to the perimeter to get rid of debris and sawdust. When finished, he walked me around the house and made sure I didn't have any additional questions or concerns. I can't imagine anyone doing a better, more professional job. I will call his company again if I ever need tree work completed, and highly recommend his company. Tree work is expensive, but for the volume of work completed, his price was more than reasonable.

The provider came out and did an estimate right away. Provider did have to reschedule with us several times due to rain and other jobs that required immediate attention. The crew came out around 8:30 in the morning and worked until about 3:00. We were very satisfied with the work. We did have one mishap where a tree fell and broke a rail in our split rail fence. The rail was replaced by the provider. We would use this provider again.

I contacted Chad in late June to schedule an appointment on Friday, July 5th to get an estimate for the work I needed done. I have a lot of trees that need trimming. We agreed on 10 am. Currently the house is a rental in Stafford, VA and I live in Washington, DC. I drove down to Stafford early that morning and Chad never showed up. At 10:20, I called and reminded him that we had an appointment. He apologized and asked if we could re-schedule. I told him I could meet him on Thursday, July 18th since I had to be there for another appointment. We set the time for 2 pm. Again, he NEVER showed up and NEVER called me. I have now wasted almost a month trying to get my trees trimmed and the inconvenience of traveling down to Stafford to meet him is great! I would NEVER recommend All Top Notch Tree Services to anyone. To say that I am annoyed would be an understatement.

Called at 9, stopped over at 10 for an estimate, came back and job was done before 11. Great service, reasonable price.

I had a very large tree top dangling over the driveway about one hundred feet up. They were able to clime the tree and remove the hazard.

Because of the domino effect from a neighbors tree, we could have had damage to the back of our home if our tree had come down. By taking down the other trees, we were able to prevent damage to our home. We went to your website and compared tree services. One of the selling points for Chad was that he had good reviews and that he had the VISA payment capability. Chad came with his crew to start taking down the trees. They used a cherry picker to complete the process. This job was done in one day. Two and 1/2 trees were taken down instead of 5. The other trees were spared at our request. The price remained the same. We are thankful that the job was completed safely.

I called for service and left a message on Saturday the 18th in the morning around 0930 and got a call back from Chad just before 10:15. He arrived around noon to evaluate the situation and gave me a quick estimate - which was the final cost (no surprises). We eventually agreed to schedule the work for Monday afternoon (sooner than I anticipated). Chad even tried to get me in on the same day but was in the middle of a large project that ultimately didn't allow it. He and his crew arrived Monday on time and did the work in less than 30 minutes. I had intended to take the tree down myself and did a great deal of the work before I got to a point where I wasn't comfortable any more. We initially discussed the use of a bucket truck and Chad was only going to take out the rest of the crown. I would have still been left with dropping the remainder, but when he showed up, he was able to drop the whole thing and made the rest of my work a whole lot easier - BONUS! Needless to say, I am very pleased with the service and all of the areas rated above deserve the A's. Great Job!!! I would like to add a note for anyone living in a "pop-up sub-division" where just enough trees were cleared to build your home: inspect your trees or have them inspected. I had previously cleared a lot of them but left some for shade and privacy. I recently discovered that they are all being eaten alive by termites. It's better to take them down (or call All Top Notch Tree Services to do it for you) before they get blown down in a storm and end up where you don't want them - like on your house!

Chad and his workers arrived at 8:30am and promptly unloded their equipment. He then took the workers around back and apprised them of the situation. They put on their gear and immediately got to work climbing trees, roping off the branches, cutting them and pulling the limbs down. The debris was hauled and put through a chipper. They cleaned the area much to my satisfaction and saved my bird houses! The job was completed by 11:00am.
