I contacted All Top Notch Tree Service via their website contact form and Chad Kearns was extremely prompt with a response to obtain additional information. He came out to assess the situation and we were able to get on the schedule to have the tree cut down within two days. I contacted several local companies and Chad was the first person to respond. We decided to go with All Top Notch based on their fair pricing and responsiveness. Chad and his crew showed up right on time and he was very professional and polite. He knew a great deal about trees and his crew safely removed the fallen tree quickly and methodically. I would absolutely have him back for more work in the future and highly recommend this company!

Chad came by for an estimate Saturday and did the work Wednesday. His crew cut down three trees, trimmed back another tree, and hauled off the mess from a large tree that had fallen over during a storm. They did great work, and the yard looked better after they left than it did when they arrived. The crew cleaned up everything, and took a leaf blower to the yard to clear debris. I've used them before and will use them again.

After being gaffed off by another tree servicing company I contacted Chad at All Top Notch. Chad was prompt at returning my call and coming out for an estimate the next day (Saturday). I had to wait to schedule service (my fault, not his -- had to go through HoA) and once I received HoA approval, I called and Chad scheduled service for the next day. I did have a couple concerns after service and I contacted Chad who, again, promptly returned my call and came out on a Saturday to address my two concerns. Since they were out I asked for some additional bush removal which he did at no charge. I thought that was very kind of him because he could have charged me and I would have paid for the service. Chad and his crew did a good job and cleaned up debris. I will certainly continue to contact All Top Notch in the future.

Highly recommend All Top Notch Tree Services!! Chad and his crew just completed removal of (4) dangerous Poplars that were very close to our house. This is the second time we used this company - years ago... Chad still has the same crew; that says something. He is very friendly and reasonable - you get what you pay for (prompt, quality, insured and trust). Thanks Chad!

Excellent. All Top Notch was excellent to work with and they did great work. They were prompt in returning my call, prompt with the free estimate, and prompt with scheduling me. I had an ~40 foot tree removed that hung over my house and the stump ground. They expertly cut the tree down and kept all branches away from the house. They cleaned up the yards and even took a leaf blower to the roof and porches to ensure everything was cleaned. Then they raked the yard and left it looking great. Hire them!!

Chad came and gave me an estimate, which was reasonable, I had gotten 2 other estimates. We discussed a date and time. Chad called the morning of the 5th of July, told me he was on his way and asked to have any vehicles removed from the driveway so he could get his equipment in. He showed up on time with his crew. Chad greeted me with a hand shake, explain how his crew would remove the trees, and his team began their task for the morning. With in 2 hours my tree was down, branches from all the other tress where removed, my yard was cleaner after they had finished the job, than it was before they came.... :) I was very impressed with the pace and professionalism of Chad and his crew. I have already recommend Chad to several of my work associates.

Great job. Quick, efficient, professional. Did exactly what I asked for and timely. Gave a quick estimate, showed insurance when I asked, went down in price a little, came back 2 days later to do the job. In and out in about 40 minutes. Even explained to me some of the mechanics of felling trees. I was quite pleased with the whole process.

They were very professional. They came the following day after I contacted them to confirm I had selected them for the service. They took down the white pine without damaging a bush or the fence next to the tree. They cleaned up the site, and even disposed of the dead pine needles and some branches I had piled from another tree after a winter storm.

From the very start, Chad was incredibly professional. He showed up for the quote on time, walked around with me, discussed my options and asked what work I wanted done. His quote was what he ended up charging me (plus a tree that I added on at the time of service). His employees were professional, courteous, and fast. The backyard looks great and it'll be fantastic once my son's new swingset is in place.

It went very well. They did it without using bucket service. They were on time. Cleaned up very well after the work was done. I was able to check his license number with the state so he is licensed. He showed me their liability insurance certificate the same day he came out to do the estimate. I really appreciated me that

All in all the project went very well, with one exception. Specifically, I had made an appointment with them to give me a quote on the tree removal work for a Friday afternoon at 2-3 PM. They never showed, and never called me to indicate they would not be coming. The following day, I reach Chad (owner) by phone, and he explained that they had been called out for an emergency job for a power company. That I can understand, but they could have taken a few minutes and called me to indicate they would not be able to keep the appointment. Thus, my rating of "C" for punctuality. That being said, Chad met with me the following Monday, and provided a written quotation on the spot. I already had two other bids, and although they were not the lowest, I decided to use them mostly because Chad indicated he could take one of the trees out without removing two healthy cedar trees that the other vendors told me would have to be removed to get at one of the dead trees. I reminded Chad of the Angie's list offer of a 10% discount, and he immediately agreed to a final contract price which included the discount. We agreed on a service date, and precisely at the promised time (8:30 AM), they arrived with their equipment. They removed six trees and were cleaned up and gone by 3:30PM. Quite simply, they did what they said they would do, at the price they quoted, and when they said they would do it. If not for the issue of the missed appointment, I would have rated them higher. But, I would not hesitate to recommend them for tree service.

Chad and his crew (three people) arrived on time. They worked on three trees, and they also cut back some shrubbery; all of these items were all on the same side of our house. They worked mainly from a bucket. They cut some large limbs from the biggest and tallest of the three trees without distorting the shape of the tree. They cut extra limbs from this tree without trying to charge us an extra fee: it seemed to me that as the cutting proceeded, Chad thought that the best result would be achieved for this tree by their cutting those extra limbs. They were careful to control the cut limbs so that they would not fall and damage anything. They trimmed two more trees, which were less high than the first, again without leaving a distorted shape. They cleaned out a very high gutter that was on the same side of the house as where they were working; again, they worked from a bucket. They were very professional and businesslike. They cleaned up beautifully. Chad was careful to confirm his insurance coverage when he came to our house, the previous week, to inspect the job before writing a proposal.

As I stated earlier, we set up three different times for someone to come do an estimate. (We wouldn't even have to be home. The tree is in my front yard.) No one ever showed up and whenever I called, I got excuses. They were courteous on the phone but three no-shows is unacceptable and unprofessional.

The owner came out one week before to give me an estimate, he advised us as to what trees to take down. He was extremely professional, gave me written estimate, and spent time walking with us to look at what trees should come down. I wrote him the next day and told him we'd use him, he wrote back within 10 minutes and told me what day he would be out with his crew. The crew, along with the owner, arrived in the morning and got immediately to work. At the end of the day, the trees were cut, and hauled away and other than the stumps and a little sawdust, I saw no evidence of them being there that day. They left no brush or limbs, and were extremely efficient. If I need any more tree work, I will definitely use this company.

Extremely satisfied with the service. The owner of the company was very knowledgeable. He explained to me about an issue that one of the trees I wanted to keep was the most dangerous one in my yard. His workers were courteous and very accommodating. The work took two days and they had to remove a portion of my backyard fence to bring in the equipment. They put the fence back up each day so my dogs would not get out. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use this company again.

A large tree split in half with half during a bad storm this past weekend on my property. Half of it fell to the ground across a sidewalk. I called Chad Monday morning, he came to look at it that afternoon, and he and his crew were here at 8am Tuesday morning. They cut it all down and ground out the stump and some large surface roots. They chipped the small to medium branches, cut the larger branches into manageable pieces, thoroughly cleaned up all the debris in the area and hauled it all away. They were done in about 2 hours. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the skill of he and his crew. They were safety concious and also courteous. I would use them again and recommend their services.

Chad came out to give us an estimate and discussed the best way to cut back many large trees overhanging our house without affecting the health or curb appeal of the trees. His estimate was fair and his crew showed up early in the morning as scheduled. His crew was awesome in their professionalism and skill. They worked hard for over 5 hours and did an outstanding job cleaning up like they were never here. Chad spoke very highly of a competitor that we had considered, demonstrating his honesty and professionalism. Overall, the attitude and work ethic of the owner and crew was exemplary. We recommend them without reservation! We will definitely call them in the future.

I rarely use the word AMAZING when describing the job that someone does at our house. And I am pretty tough to please. But they did an AMAZING job! They came out and quickly went to work. The tree and branches were removed carefully and quickly. They have a professional group and the correct equipment to really get the job done. The branches and all wood were quickly loaded into their truck and into the wood chipper. They then began grinding the stump and getting at the remaining roots of this massive tree. They are just finishing up and the attention to detail and clean up is just fabulous! They did an AMAZING job and can't recommend them enough. Not to mention their pricing was well below several other companies. Goes to show you that a professional crew can get the job done correctly, quickly and without it costing a fortune. Chad and his crew were great! Doesn't even look like we had a 60' tree in our yard that's how great of a job they did with take down and clean up! Thanks for getting this job done for us! We were initially worried about the cost of this removal, but with the actual cost and the job you guys did, we definitely were glad we went with All Top Notch! Glad we no longer need to worry about the tree falling into our house or strangling our water or sewer lines. We have several friends and neighbors that will hear about our experience so we can hopefully bring you some more business. Thanks Again!

Chad and his crew were very professional. The tree was over hanging the house, deck and sunroom. They were very careful about roping every branch off and lowering it to the ground. They performed a thorough cleanup after the work was completed. Could not have been more happy with the service provided.

Chad and his team at Top Notch did a great job removing a large maple tree from our backyard. They arrived on schedule, were very polite and professional, and had no trouble at all with the tree removal. They cut it and left it exactly as we had requested. We would gladly recommend Top Notch and use their services again.

I had just moved to my new house that has a lot of tall trees in the back yard and I was concerned about the dead tree leaning towards the house. I had a few tree guys just knock on my door wanting to do tree work for me. I didn't get the warm fuzzy feeling that it was a good idea. I called a few services from Angie's list. All top notch tree service had some really good reviews. Chad was very prompt in calling and came out to look at the job. I told him about the guys just stopping by, he pulled out a copy of his license and insurance to show me. I was impressed by that, he also had performed work on my neighbors house and said to feel free to ask how he had done. I had called 4 tree services and 2 never called back. One called a week later, the lady said that she was sorry for getting back to me so late, but they had some internal issues. I don't know why she would think I would hire them after telling me that. One other was a referral and was a one man crew with a buddy that had a pick up truck. Again I was not getting the warm and fuzzy feeling that they would do the work right and not drop a tree on my house or fence. I called Chad to schedule a time to come out and perform the work. He showed up with his crew, they took down the 3 large trees and one small one. They ground the 2 stumps a trimmed a tree that was near the storage shed. They did a great job and did everything he said he was going to do. They cleaned up all the debris and left my house and yard clean. Good service is hard to find and someone that does the work right is even harder to find. This was one of the very few times I felt good about handing someone a check after the work was completed. I would highly recommend All Top Notch Tree service and I will use them for all my future tree work.

He was very professional. He saw what needed to be done and gave us a quote. We paid him in advance and by the time we got home the day he said the work would be done, everything was taken care of.

The team arrived with buckets trucks and saws. It took two days which was much faster than I thought they could get the job done. They were very professional and was always worried about my concerns. They arrived on time and worked until the day was done. They came back on a third day for a couple of hours just to clean up the area and remove even the leaves on the ground. Fantastic job and more than I expected.

Just like the company's name, Chad runs a very professional and "top notch" company. Chad arrived with his crew at the stated time. We are VERY happy with the work performed and the clean up afterwards. Due to a previous misunderstanding and in order to make up for it, Chad quoted a discounted price of $700 to perform the work. We ended up paying him double the amount because the work was certainly worth it. DO NOT hesitate to contact him for any tree work. You will not be disappointed!!

Chad Kearns and his crew were prompt, professional, and efficient. They performed the job exactly as had been discussed. Chad (the owner) personally oversaw the work. Every member of his crew appeared very competent. They arrived exactly at the scheduled time and got straight to work. The trees came down right where they planned without hitting our shed or causing any other damage. The only sign that they had ever been on the property were the downed trees (which we requested they leave) cut into manageable pieces for us. We would definitely use All Top Notch Tree Service again.
