My husband and I met with Dave Garrett one Sunday afternoon to discuss the improvements that we wanted made to our yard, flowerbeds, and wheelchair ramp. Dave made some excellent suggestions, and we decided to do the project in two phases. Phase one would take care of the flowerbeds and ramp while phase two would take care of the yard and grass. Dave and his crew arrived early on the morning of April 30 as promised. They worked quickly to remove the overgrown junipers and boxwood from our flowerbeds. They also removed a temporary ramp we had put in three years ago for my mother, who needs a transport chair to leave the house. Then part of the crew worked to install a new wood ramp with railings while the rest of the crew prepared the flowerbeds for new plantings. By early afternoon we had a beautiful new ramp that is sturdy and secure. The crews installed a lovely selection of plants in the two flowerbeds located at the front of our house. Dave's estimate for the phase one work was exactly what he charged for the work completed on April 30. My husband and I are delighted with the work Dave and his crew did on the ramp and flowerbeds, and several of our neighbors have asked who built the ramp for us. At the end of May we are having an irrigation system installed, and then Dave and his crew will come back to complete phase two (work on the yard). We are looking forward to working with him and his crew again.

Very prompt return to my email for landscape services. Dave is a very professional and friendly owner/operator of his landscaping company. I am new to the area and wanted to test out a couple landscapers before I do some bigger projects later this year. Dave was one of three companies I left emails for and the only one who returned the email. Was very quick to come out and meet me to estimate the landscaping job I needed. We planned a date for the landscaping to take place and it was delayed one or two days because of rain. Dave personally called me to keep me aware of the situation (I really appreciated that personal contact and awareness that so many businesses today seem to forget). Dave's crew completed the job while I was at work that day and I came home to a spotless driveway and a tidy landscaped backyard. Appreciate the quick turnaround and professional service from day one. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Dave responded promptly to a request for a quote, was professional, offered ideas, and worked WITH us to create a space that we could enjoy. His crew worked hard, were polite, and all debris was cleared upon completion. Very professional. Will use them for phase 2 - and 3 as well!

A great company to use for landscaping. I had lost faith in contractors due to my experience with Createman Conrete, they did a half a** job on one project then took my money and ran on another project. The GARRETT GROUP IS A HONEST COMPANY THAT DOES A GREAT JOB AND STAYS TRUE TO THERE WORD. David Garrett, the owner, was more than understanding when it came to my hesitation of using a contractor again after my last experience. The pricing was fair, he showed up on time, and took pride in completing the task. Dave Garrett was excellent to work with. He came out when he said he would, talked to me about how much of maintenance we wanted to do, the kinds of plants and colors we were interested in. He came back with a plan we liked and price that we felt was fair. His workers were very professional and courteous, and worked hard the entire time they were here. Dave came by in the morning to describe what would happen each day and checked in with his workers and with me periodically throughout the work each day. We were extremely pleased with the final product and with Dave's detailed description of watering the new plants.

He did an excellent job. Pricing was competitive. He was on time. Friendly honest and no problems with either job.

Came to give an estimate the same day I called, and showed up to do the work promptly the next morning. My neighbor was interested in the same work, so he did both lawns for a slight discount. Grass was sprouting within a week. Very prompt, good work, a little more pricey than others I had seen, but dependability is worth it.

Dave responded to our request within 2 days of contacting him for an estimate. He performed the services on the day he said he would and did a wonderful job. We had over an acre of land that needed aerated, limed, seeded and several shrubs removed, trees limbed and yard debris cleaned up and removed. We will be using him many more times and over the years as we have big plans for our yard. I highly recommend him for his personality, punctuality and a job well done!

Dave Garrett and his crew were excellent in every way. They did what they said and followed up after the job was completed. I had bad experiences with contractors in the past but David Garrett renewed my faith in decent businessmen. I found out that he was also skilled and licensed in home improvement and subsequently had him do a couple more jobs at my house. My experience with The Garrett Group was excellent all around. I have recommended him to others.

I have had no dealings with any landscaping because I never needed it before now. Dave set up appointment, spent the necessary time to explain my options, and the associated costs and how soon he and his crew would be able to perform the service. He was accurate on all counts. I found him to be not only professional, but personable. I chose this group based on reviews on Angie's list, and and so glad I did. I know nothing about landscaping, but Dave explained what he felt I needed. I initially thought about installing a terrace, but that proved too costly an option, but the landscaping, was not only more reasonable in price, but more practical. Every time I placed a call to ask Dave a question, he responded promptly. His crew was courteous, pleasant and professional. I barely knew they were here. I rated this group A's in all categories. I can't believe there is an easier landscaping bunch to deal with than these folk. Dave knows his business, his estimates were correct and there were no surprises. For any future landscaping, decking, fencing The Garrett Group will always be my "go-to" group in the future.

What a fantastic experience. It took about two weeks as we did have a few days of heavy rain. But the employees are amazing and Dave was on the job daily to see what was being done and making sure it was done well. They cleaned up every single day to include even sweeping up the public road. When some extra things needed to be done there was no charge for them to be done. For example I had always wanted to have the front drive way entrance to have some sort of little beds framing it so Dave just did that even though it was not in the original plan. They finished on time and my yard looks amazing. Dave will return in the spring with his crew to insure that all the plants have survived the winter, those needing to be replaced are replaced at no charge. The mulch will be turned over and any tweaking will be done at that time. This company is so professional! They subcontracted out the stamped concrete and the guy will come back to reseal the walk and patio area in 2 years at no extra charge and will give me the same price to do additional concrete when we continue with the remodel of the house. The attention to detail is always there!

From the moment Mr. Garrett came out to my home to the moment the job was complete, he was very professional, likable and easy to talk to and exchange ideas and information with. He really loves what he does and it shows by the work that was done in my yard. I am extremely happy with the results and look forward to a long relationship with my yard and his work in the future. Dave Garrett did an on-site evaluation and estimate on Wednesday, June 17th to: (1) repair four buckled boards on my Trex deck; (2) raise a side of the deck that had fallen because of poor workmanship by the original deck builder; and (3) remove old caulk and apply new caulk to a part of the gutter that had been leaking. I was amazed at the very reasonable cost of the estimate and when he said he could do the job on the next Friday - two days later! Dave has good customer service skills and appears to be a very competent craftsman. He did the least expensive repair. My wife and I were amazed at the super job he did! He followed up with a phone call to make sure we were satisfied with the work. We gave Dave a tip to express our satisfaction with his work. I give Garrett Group my highest recommendation.

We had moved into our home and lived here for about a year. Of course we received the basic landscaping package just like everyone else, but wanted something more. We called the Garrett Group for an estimate and to see what we could do with our yard. They came out and walked the entire yard with us giving us many options to pick from including using some of the existing shrubbery that we already had to cut down on the cost. After making our decision on exactly what we wanted the provided us with a written estimate so that we could sit down and see exactly what we were getting for our money. After we made our decision, we gave them half the payment, they went and picked up all of our plants and trees and came and completed the work. After they were finished our yard was one of the best looking in the neighborhood.
