Hardscape was completed and looks great. Cleaned up everything when done. Planting delayed until spring.

Dave was highly professional. He came out the same day to walk our property and give us a quote. With the amount of work that was required the pricing was fair. He explained to us the process of what he was doing and time frame they would do it in. His employees did not leave any trash on my property and were very polite. When we decide to move or have other fencing requirements we will us them again.

Dave is a courteous, friendly, professional guy. He gave me a prompt estimate for the job. The rain delayed the scheduled start date, but Dave called me to let me know he would need to reschedule. I find most contractors just don't show, assuming you know they can't work, and call in a few days. I appreciated the call so I knew I was still on his mind. His crew did a great job repairing a footer and replacing insulation. When they were done they cleaned and raked everything up.

Dave at the Garrett Group was great. He is a really nice guy who is always smiling. We had a small communication hiccup while waiting for the fence install and Dave got on the phone with me right away to make sure we were on the same page. He answers his phone/email promptly. You can tell he prioritizes customer service.

The Garret Group (specifically, Dave the Owner) were fantastic to work with. We had a deck repair and Dave quickly gave a sense over the phone on his read of our situation. Given its alignment with my expectations, I was already put at ease. Dave and his team assessed my deck, confirmed their initial assumptions and provided a reasonable estimate. Their work was completed as promised and Dave kept me well-informed. You know you are dealing with a quality contractor when Dave refused to accept our final payment until the job was complete. That is a rarity in today's world and a welcome sight. We have no doubt we will use The Garrett Group in the future.

If you want the job done right the first time, call Dave. We had a gravel pad/retaining wall installed for a shed by another company. In a nutshell, it was horrible. Shoddy workmanship and the wrong type lumber. Dave came out quickly after my call and gave us an estimate and told us in detail what he would do to fix the problem. He and his guys came out on time and in a few short hours fixed the problem. The difference between the work of the Garrett Group and this other company was like night and day. My wife and I lost sleep over the previous work and now we can sleep peacefully knowing the walls holding the gravel in will not collapse. Dave and his group are detail oriented to the smallest details. For example they make sure to remove the tags on the lumber and he puts an angle cut along the outside edge of the top piece of the retaining wall. I don't give out compliments lightly. I call it the "Come Back" test. This means I will let them come back for future work we have planned. This is the first time we have used the Garrett Group, but it will not be the last time.

The Garrett Group did an incredible job of installing a new backyard fence and removing the old one. The crew was completely professional and honest. The entire job was completed in 8 days. They gave great advice when we hit a snag trying to tie in the fence to the existing structure (a screened-in porch), and it worked like a charm. We plan on using them for additional projects (deck, additional fencing, concrete work, etc) and look forward to bringing them back here in the spring.
