I truly believe that the nursery could be great there is a lot of land and potential. I went the entire summer without water because he would not replace the pump. Richard needs to think about his customer service which has sucked from the time I worked there. He also needs to think about respecting his work force. If he paid a decent wage and took care of his customers in the manner which they deserve the nursery could be great.

The nursery would be a great place. I love the farmers market which I helped start. Richard the owner needs to pay attention to his customer service which has during my employee lacked BIG TIME.

They were great. Once they received the shed from the Amish builders, they had it delivered and set up within 3 days. It is a very nice shed!

Very well. First call I had to leave a message. But I called back later anyway and made the purchase. The product was delivered on time and thankfully the driver dropped the (heavy) sod right where I needed to install it. The sod was fresh and ready to install.

Overall, the missteps and poor service overtook much of the good work of the project. We hired this company as we thought we would like to support a local firm with our business. We will not use Stafford Nursery in the future, and suggest you consider other options if you have major landscape needs. 1. We specifically discussed with the project manager the desire for pavers between our patio and pool deck to allow for water drainage. He installed impervious pavers what basically carry water straight from our porch to our pool deck as such a rate that a heavy rain will just flush water and any debris around right into the pool. Since he had hired a subcontractor (which he never mentioned before the contract), thus the nice looking pavers are torture during any heavy rain. I have place water bags in front of the pool to try to abate the onslaught of water. 2. One part of the yard still did not drain well after the landscaping. They did nothing about it other than say it might be a problem. But they planted 4 of the 5 Leland Cypresses along that fence line. The planting was not good at all. they basically dug a hole the size of the bucket the plants were in and transferred them into the clay laden soil that would not drain. They acted surprised that the trees all completely died, which we thought was interesting, since they were a nursery. They would never come back to fix the issue. After threatening with a lawsuit, they left new cypresses on driveway. I tried to dig and properly plant them, but the impact of the lack of drainage made the area inhospitable for such plantings. I think is was about $200 per tree.... wasted. These are the main issues. We were also disappointed in the two tiered garden, since they killed or lost many of the plants we provided, They did not construct area as we had discussed for elevation (although the plan was accurate), and they soil in the garden was the virgin clay, thus it is not possible to grow anything. It seems now that their work is complete, after $15,000.00, I need to hire a nursery or do lots of garden construction on my own. I recommend using another company if you have a good size landscaping job. They subcontracted much of the work. I cannot say if they might have done better with in-house workers, but the project manager was not able to deliver the agreed upon work. Attempts to contact the manager or owner of Stafford Nursery have not been successful. ******************update*************************** some of the pavers are already moving/failing as their foundation has clearly given way due to water issues.

Ordered my shed from Tom Took over two weeks just to get a phone call to make an appointment, after leaving a Large Deposit of $200. (Which I thought was an actual deposit on the shed order, to only find out it was NOT. It was Just a deposit to get the company to come to my house to confirm placement on the property! After the company came out to the property to confirm placement, which by the way needed to be changed due to the fact it would be sitting in water if it rained too much. However the placement that was recommend for the best and easiest location, left my new shed sitting two feet up from the ground in the front of the shed, as the back corner is directly sitting on the asphalt, sitting on blocks of concrete? Not the most attractive, especially after spending $6,500 for a 10x12 Cottage Style Shed, I wish I was given a solution for the issue, but was never offered. The day of the home appointment, a few hours after their assessment on the property, I returned to the company to make a FULL payment on a faster delivery time of the Shed. I was guaranteed delivery in 10 days, only if I paid for the shed in Full! Told that the shed would come directly from the building warehouse in PA to my house!! NOT TRUE! Told a 10 day Delivery with a FULL Deposit, ended up taking them over 4 weeks, and the shed delivered was damaged top right corner. To Quickly fix the damaged top corner, but not really, took a mallet to pound out the damage of the metal roof and siding.. Still damage! 2 hours late to deliver! Had to call the company again to confirm their arrival. And it did not come from the warehouse in PA, but was delivered to Stafford, and then sat due to a Garden Show the company was participating in. Again..after wondering and waiting..many calls, and a visit..asking 'WHERE is my SHED?' More Damages..Along with.. as they were positioning the shed, also damaged the brick facing. Brick Facing Damage.. Left Corner in the front of the shed..broke the corner brick!! Took over two months and several phone calls, and at least three visits to their location..begging to please repair the brick!! I would not recommend this company.

We were very pleased with the final product. They listened and gave us what we wanted.

Ben, the designer/salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable. The crew was also very professional and worked hard to finish the job on time. They also cleaned up well after the job was completed. We were very satisfied with the whole process and would recommend this company to anyone looking for landscaping.
