+ 0 moreI have been using Scotts for annual maintenance such as weed control, fertilizer, and aeration. In August they sent out a new technician to do weed control on a frying hot day. They killed half my beautiful green front lawn and a big section of my back lawn within 24 hours of treatment. They used a herbicide they have never used in 2 years and it was not good on my type of grass. My annuals and perennials near this grass were also severely burned. A couple of branches of a pine tree burned and the needles fell. I have repeatedly called them and they just give me the run around telling me they cannot tell me where the local branch is, the name of the manager, phone number, or location of the local branch. Finally, one manager told me they are avoiding me because they do not want to have to give any freebies so they are avoiding me. What I really need now is a refund and new sod in certain sections. Instead of taking this chore off my hands, this has given me a headache to deal with instead.

+ 0 morenot very good, I used SCOTTs products for years with good success. Last year I hired them to take care of my lawn and they completely ruined it. I had more weeds than in the past,,,in fact I did better taking care of the lawn myself. I cancelled by service and went to another company,,,much more expensive but you get what you pay for. Within 2 wks of the new company providing my lawncare all the weeds that SCOTTS left behind were dead. Amazing difference.

+ -1 moreWe found them before we came on Angie's List and we are pretty happy with them. They are responsive. If we see weeds, we call them, and they come out and take care of it at no cost with regards with our service agreement. If you leave a message, they call back promptly. If you have to have them come back, it is usually within a week. It usually happens when we are at work. They just come out and spread the stuff.
