This company had proven to me to be very trustworthy when there was hail damage in the community. Many roofs needed replacement, my immediate next door neighbors being one of them. They at the time of getting their estimate asked if I would like the man from Roof Works to look at my roof while he was there. He went up looked my roof over & informed me that my roof had not been damaged . His honesty sold me right there on his company. When we had the wind damage I called Roof Works , they came out the next day, examined my roof & I only needed a few shingles replaced. We scheduled the appointment to do so & my roof was repaired within that week. He also gave me a very fair price.

Roof Works was a pleasure to work with in a not-so-pleasant situation. After a massive storm, we needed to have our roof replaced. Roof Works was very prompt, the price was fair, and they went the extra mile for us by providing specific information requested by our insurance company. After they were done, we only found one nail in our yard, so clean-up was very thorough.

The technicians found these holes not only where we had a leak, but all over the lower edge of the roof. They patched all of the holes for their minimum charge.

The team was very responsive and showed up on time. They were able to do the work the week of Thanksgiving. Work was done in a timely fashion. They did the roof in 2 days and a few hours the morning of the 3rd day. Gutters and gutter guards were done in a half day at the end of the week by separate team. They offered Free Gutter Guards with Angie List member, so that was a plus in their favor. In general, we are please with the job and would recommend to anyone needing a roof and gutter replacement.

Of the 6 contractors I contacted via Angie's List, only 2 replied. The 1st admitted the job was too big for him, the 2nd was Roof Works of Virginia. They showed up when they said they would to walk the job down and give an estimate (which was below what I expected) and also showed up when they said to do the work. After discussing what I wanted as replacement materials, Roof Works of Virginia made several recommendations which saved me some future work (pre-finished Hardiplank, pre-delivering PVC trim so I could paint it before it was installed). Very pleased with the results, I've even asked for estimates for similar work on another sections of my house.

We were very satisfied with the process, product, professionalism and workmanship provided. The roofers arrived early, completed the work quicker than expected and cleaned up all debris.

I contacted via email through Angie's List on July 31st. I never received a response back.

A worker came to the house to access the problem. He found it. Discussed the work that needed to be done and the approximate price. Two days later he and another man were here to do the work. They were efficient, cleaned up the bad roof section that was replaced which was around vents. We had vents in the kitchen area that he checked to make sure there was no problem there. They were fantastic.

A neighbor recommended Roof Works and after seeing good reviews on Angie's List we decided to give them a call. Excellent service all around! From initial contact over the phone, they made scheduling the estimate a breeze. Vincent showed up on time, was straightforward with the work and costs, and didn't try to sell us anything unnecessary. I wish every estimate was this painless! We accepted the offer and within a day the owner called to schedule the work. He was pleasant on the phone, we looked at the weather forecast and picked a date. Crew showed up on time and were professional. By the time I got home from work, the roof had been replaced and trash/debris picked up. It was great. Next day Vincent followed up to make sure we didn't have any questions and we settled the balance of the bill. I highly recommend Roof Works, they were great!

The 2 workers, Augustin and Hector, were on time and very pleasant to work with. After arrival at my home, they assessed the job to be performed and departed to obtain necessary materials and supplies. Upon return, they quickly and professionally went to work. Both men were so easy to work with and responded well to my comments/suggestions. The job was very well done! I cannot remember ever having a more satisfying experience with any contractor. The new shingles saved me about $1,000 and they had the best pricing. 6 technicians came out and completed the job in a day. My only concern is that they were sending the shingles up on a conveyor belt and dropped the shingles down on the roof from about 3 ft. Inside the house, the drywall and mud covering the nails were popping off. They had to come back and repair that for me. They did a fairly good job cleaning up after themselves.

Appointment was scheduled at 9 AM, but they showed up at 8 AM. (which is fine for me) Great Service and would definitely use them again in the future. Mary the secretary was great too. You wont be disappointed. Thanks guys.

This is the second time we have contracted Roof Works.The crew arrived 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time! We were pleased with their professionalism. We will definitely consider them first when we need further work done.

Vince G was the first person from the company I spoke with. Vince came to my house and provided me a printed estimate on the spot. I delayed getting back to them for several months. Finally, I contacted Vince to see if the original estimate was still good. He advised that the price of plywood had gone up, but other than that it bid was still the same. About a week later, I spoke with Scott (the owner) who scheduled the work and advised of possible rain delays. A couple of days later, a delivery team showed up and put the roofing materials directly on the roof using a crane. The crane stabilizer leg left a pretty good sized dent in my yard, but that is pretty much unavoidable. Scott had told me that the workers would show up at 7AM and work until dark on the first day and the work would take about a day and a half. For whatever reason, they didn't show up until about 11 and only worked about 5 hours. The total time spent on the roof was significantly longer than Scott had advised. They worked two more full days and then a 1/2 day to finish up. They didn't explain why it took so long and I didn't ask. I don't have an issue with how long it took. The work was excellent. They parked a large dumpster in the driveway and used traps and wheelbarrows to ensure no garbage hit the ground. They cleaned up after themselves very well, including using a large magnetic bar to "sweep" the yard for nails. They even tested the flashing around the skylights for leaks. The new roof looks great. A couple of days after the roof was done, the gutter team showed up and installed the new gutters and downspouts. They worked quickly and were done in about 1/2 a day. I won't need another roof on this house for many many years, but I would recommend Roof Works to friends that need a roofing company.

First, I have to thank Vincent for the great job of explaining to both my wife and me about the requirements for what we needed to have done. His discussion allowed both of us to understand the job requirements and making the best decision to fill our needs. Great job Vincent. On the day, the first crew arrived, yes the first crew, two jobs mind you and looked over where the gutters and downspouts were going. They formed the first gutters and began to install. Before that was completed the second crew for the roof and siding arrived and began to remove old roofing. As the crew finished the first gutter, they assisted the second crew with the roof material cleanup and removing the rotting wood trim. The crews worked as a team and assisted each other in cleanup, replacing the rotting wood trim on the garage doors, the vinyl siding and the gutters. Both crews were very active in performing the work and doing an amazing, fast and complete job. One thing, a piece of door edging was damaged and was not planned for replacement and not available. They were able to reinstall the damage piece but the guys, all were guys, said someone would be back with the replacement piece to install and fully complete the job. It was not that day but in a reasonable period of time and looks great. These guys were great and I would not hesitate to hire them or recommend them to anyone. Thanks Roof Works.

All went well from the time of Initial contact, apprasial, guys preforming work and clean up, and billing/payment. I recommend this company all the time.

It went wonderfully. The estimator was on time, very friendly & knowledgable. Most companies I contacted did not want to come to the house to give a quote, they only gave them over the phone, which I felt was very inaccurate and made me uncomfortable. We got a quote from Roofworks while he was still at our home. The estimator was kind enough to field many phone calls from me with various questions. Scheduling was very easy and the work crew were courteous, hard working, fast, precise and clean. They left the worksite without any debris.
