We had some Christmas lights that tripped a breaker for our garage outlets. When we unplugged the lights and closed the breaker, we found that two of our outlets were no longer working. However, our furnace and a light which are on the same circuit were working fine. Not knowing exactly what was wrong and with our family planning to go out of town for a few days in a little over 24 hours, I started calling electricians the next morning. I wanted somebody who could come that day, mainly to rule out any kind of fire hazard being present. The first two companies I called couldn't make it that day. ROC Electrical was my third call. Robert was working a job, but said he could stop by our house in about 1 1/2 hours and take a look. Robert arrived around the time he said he would. He was polite and professional, asking questions and telling me how he was going to go about debugging the problem. He found that one of the problem outlets was bad, but that electricity also wasn't getting to the outlet. He then went up into the attic and found that somehow, two wires that were supposed to be twisted together had separated. Robert reconnected the wires. The second outlet was functioning but it had been wired with the polarity reversed, so Robert went ahead and replaced it along with the bad outlet. This made sense to me because both outlets were probably originals and the house is approaching 50 years old. Robert completed the work in under 45 minutes. He charged $60, which I thought was quite reasonable. I would have no hesitation calling ROC Electrical again when I need an electrician in the future.

For the difficulty of the stuff he did I thought the price was really reasonable. I really can't say enough good about how I felt dealing with him. He went out of his way to keep me satisfied.

ROC was hired by our general contractor to wire our new home. They assisted us in deterining where lighting should go, and determining what type of light fixtures would work for us with our limited budget.

ROC did an excellent job of assisting us in determining our wiring design, and even assisted us in selecting the right types of fixtures for each space. Work was done quickly and efficiently, even though delays by some of the other contractors forced changes to ROC's schedule. We were appalled at the retail price of simple fluorescent light fixtures for our workshop and garage; ROC was able to save us several hundred dollars by ordering these fixtures for us. Very professional, very nice guy. I would definitely recommend this company.

Robert was a life saver. The contractor stopped work and abandoned the project. Robert was willing to come back and complete the work for me in a timely fashion. He also did carpentry on the deck so that I could pass a framing inspection that my contractor had failed 5 times! Robert did not require supervision as I live 75 miles from the construction that was important!
