+ 5 moreGreat! This is the third time we have contracted with Ray's Siding Company LLC which should highlight our opinion of their work. All-in-all, we have had Ray's do siding, gutters, windows, trim, roofing, side landing addition doors, porch skylights - - - and I can't even remember what else! Great company and work ethic. Great employees.

Description of Work: After the hail storm I contacted Rays Siding as his company had installed our siding some years ago and we were happy with the job done then. He showed up at the scheduled time and took measurements. The insurance adjuster indicate our roof also needed replacement so I contacted them again and he was on time. It has been almost three weeks on the siding and over a week on the roof and I still haven't received an estimate. I contacted them a week ago and was assured they employee working the quote would call back that day (no joy). I contacted another contractor who gave me a quote the same day. Needless to say I cannot recommend this company. If they aren't interested it would be nice to just say so rather than just blowing it off.

+ 2 moreMike, had several great suggestions when he came out to make the estimate. Cost was fair for the work requested. Install went smoothly. workers were professional and ensured all debris was cleaned up daily. I would hire Ray's again without worries.
Description of Work: Replaced railings on 40 x 8 foot front porch and stairs with no maintenance vinyl railings, installed new lights and bead board looking vinyl on porch ceiling, and gutter guards on house front. Also had them paint 6 pillars and existing front door assembly, replace 4 pair of shutters, and power wash entire front of house

+ -1 moreThe Insulation went fine. However, due to poor weather conditions, the installation got pushed back for weeks. The most frustrating part of that was the lack of communication with the company. Each time I had to initiate the call and find out what was the delay. Because of the lack of communication, I don't think I would recommend this company.

+ 3 moreRay's Siding is very professional. They do quality work. They keep the work site clean at the end of each day. They are responsive to any last minute updates. They worked with me concerning exterior lighting fixtures and their installation. The house is transformed from their work. Two neighbors that stay home during the day both remarked how professional the crew was during the entire process. During the quotation process, I had many changes and they were very accommodating. I ended up with much work done and was nervous about placing a big order (and not getting the work down in smaller portion) but after it was all completed, Ray's did a great job. I give them high marks and would happily recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Removal of existing siding. Installed house wrap. Installed siding with insulation back. Installed six windows and two skylights. Installed gutters. Installed soffets. Installed porch railings and posts. Wrapped windows and every other portion of the house's exterior.

+ -1 moreIt went really well for the most part. The only issue is that when they were installing the siding, they crushed 2 bushes in the process of completing the job. To be fair, there was a lot of snow. The workers did not let me know in when it happened, however, when I contacted the company to let them know what happened, they reimbursed us for more than we had planned to ask for. The company itself was very professional. If they took a break they left the scene which I appreciated. They kept us informed about all work being completed.
Description of Work: They removed old siding, installed the vapor barrier and installed new siding.

Description of Work: Replaced railings of entrance door portico. Replaced support/decorative columns of portico. Replaced window shutters. Replaced window decorative headers. All items were previously wood that was rotting away and were replaced by vinyl or composite replacements. Ray's was punctual, courteous and thorough. They provided an estimate before the servicing and there were no surprises with the final costs. The products used are quality and the installment was well done.

+ -1 moreThey finished the work about a week ago. So far, they did a really nice job. We had storms come through and the shutters has stayed on a good thing. The guys that came out actually did the work, were here early, and there were 3 gentlemen that were working and cleaned up. They came out and did their work and I paid them and they were very nice. They cleaned what they did and was not anything left behind or even know that they were there. I was here the whole time that they work. I was shocked that they were actually using a blower to clean up my porch and broom to sweep off my walkway. They switched off the shutters and I paid them and they leave. I did not expect them to have a broom and sweep up.
Description of Work: I have used Ray's Siding. They took off the old shutters and replaced them with new shutters. They had to replace some shutters that were on a covered porch or under covered porch. They had a blower and blew all the debris of my porch and swept up and did not leave any trash behind or anything.

The original quote was slightly off, but Mike met with us at the house and went over the work to be done to verify the accuracy. The quality of their work was very good. My husband, who is very critical whenever we get work done on the house, thought that they did a great job. In addition, they had great prices.
