Plumbing Innovators - Fredericksburg

I'm a homeowner for over 25 years and fairly handy. I have a new plumber I can trust. Plumbing Innovators do it right the first time. Responsive, clean, professional, helpful, honest, thorough. This team fixed problems that we had been experiencing for nearly 15 years in our house, and that others had tried unsuccessfully to remedy ($$). Plumbing Innovators used a combination of technology and many years of experience and know-how to properly diagnose and resolve our long-standing problems.

I called them up and they sent out their technicians within a few hours. Both gentlemen were very polite and honest with me. They talked about several different types of repairs that could have the conducted the repairs and dint try to sell me the more expensive services. the repairs only took a short amount of time and the whole experience couldn't have been more pleasant considering the situation. they also discussed possible mitigation options to keep it from happening in the future. I have heard a lot of horror stories about plumbers taking advantage of people, this was not one of those occasions. excellent provider.

I have used them several times. They are great and I will continue to use them. They put in a larger tank with a pan underneath it and they had to re-route the gas. They are responsive.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got the call back that they were on the way over after only contacting them an hour or so prior and being told I was 10th on the list. Last night there was a snow storm and MANY people were calling with frozen/busted pipe. They replaced the outside faucet with the proper one and replace the pipe in the wall, which wasn't east to get to. TJ and Clay were great. Explained what they were going to do, asked if I was ok with that and gave me a price right there and stuck to it. I'm not sure if it was a good price as I NEEDED a plumber and didn't want to haggle or wait for a "second opinion". The important part is that I felt like I got a great deal and walked away happy. Good guys I highly recommend them if you need a plumber.

They were very courteous and professional. They called before their estimated start time and arrived promptly. TJ and Clay were friendly and respected the home the entire time they were here. Tested all the lines and ensured the work was to complete and to my satisfaction. They were able to answer all of my questions and provided a recommendation on another problem they identified while in the home. I will most definitely call them for future work. TJ and Clay Rock!!

TJ and his assistant (Clay?) came to our house, and TJ recognized the solution immediately. He took just a few seconds to fix the shower handle and provided an education during the process. TJ asked if I had any other concerns, and I mentioned that we were considering a backup sump pump once our basement was finished. TJ once again described the process in detail, along with a hand drawn diagram. They were patient and professional throughout the visit. I was pleasantly surprised that they did not charge me for fixing the guest room shower. I had heard good things about Plumbing Innovators though other contractors, and I can now see why. I will certainly consider Plumbing Innovators for our future plumbing needs (like that back up sump) and recommend them to our friends!

The plumber was very careful to make sure he knew what exactly needed fixed before cutting multiple holes in the wall. They were very thorough. I would use them again.

We discovered a leak in our garage where the Renai hot water system is located. There was also signs of a leak outside near the hose bib. After reading all the positive reviews, I contacted Plumbing Innovators to diagnose the problem. I used Angie's List messaging to arrange the date/time, and they responded quickly. They gave me a 2 hour window and called before they arrived. TJ quickly identified the problem as leaky valves and was able to provide an estimate quickly. We received a 5% discount because we booked through Angies List. He advised they needed to purchase the replacement kit and could do the work the same afternoon which they did. They also insulated the pipes which were previously covered with non-insulated materials. Both plumbers were professional and courteous. Very satisified customer.

Very pleased from the initial contact on Angie's list through installation and clean up. I had noticed a leak outside the house and through some checking on my own, concluded it must be coming from the line running from the well to the foundation. An appointment was set, and the crew arrived and checked out the leak, confirming what I thought. They measured the distance and told me I would get a written proposal in a couple days. I received a detailed proposal of the work to be accomplished, After agreeing to the proposal, a time and date was set. for the work. The crew arrived as scheduled and went about their work professionally and carefully. They were very careful working around power and cable lines that had been marked as a result of the company contacting Miss Utility. The crew members had all the tools, equipment, and material needed for the job, so there was no down-time waiting for something to be picked-up or delivered. They worked quickly and finished the work sooner than I expected. Once work was completed, they ensured everything was cleaned up, all debris removed, and grass reseeded where the old line had been removed and new one installed. I would recommend Plumbing Innovators. There was no charge for the initial visit and no pressure to contract with them to do the work. Great Job!!

We were on well. They dug a 100 ft. trench to the house and then made the connection to the house. After 2 days we discovered a leak which was caused by added pressure on deteriorated copper pipes in the bathroom. Plumbing Innovators came back out, and ended up completely replacing all the copper pipes in the house with CPVC. While the re-piping wasn't originally in the plans, we couldn't be happier with the results. The Plumbing Innovators team was knowledgeable, fast, efficient, courteous and clean.

Especially as a woman who just wants the plumbing to be "magic," Plumbing Innovators quickly and professionally fixed the problems that have been plaguing us since 2010. I feel confident in their competence, and, 1) for the first time since we moved in we have clean, drinkable water; and 2) I feel like I haven't been taken advantage of because I don't know much about plumbing!!! The water tank was leaking and clearly needed to be replaced. In addition, since we had a new well installed a year ago, our water was FULL of iron. The iron in the hot water heater causes a bacteria that makes the water smell like rotten eggs. I drained the hot water heater and turned up the temperature to kill the bacteria. That reduced the smell, but the water was undrinkable and left hideous stains on everything and had to be damaging to the plumbing. After looking over the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Plumbing Innovators on Friday. Saturday they had a team (Mike and Justin) here to replace the water tank. Oddly, turning off the water valves didn't stop the water from all the outlets in the house. Mike figured out the plumbing system fed the sinks, tubs and toilets before it even got to the tank. The water pump was clanging constantly, especially once the tank started leaking. On Saturday they replaced my dinky tank with a new large one. When I called Richie, the owner, back on Monday to schedule their return for the rest of the work, he rearranged schedules to get the guys back out here Tuesday morning. As they did on Saturday, they did their work cleanly, professionally, and smartly. Mike had figured out how to reroute the water with minimal opening of the basement ceiling. When all was done, the system was installed, they removed the useless sediment filter that had been installed when we bought the house in 2010. They even fixed the electric attachments. My Mother discovered after they left that her shower wasn't working. I called at around noon today and told Richie about the problem. By 3 this afternoon, Mike and Justin returned. They discovered that something (I don't remember the name)behind the on/off handle had broken, probably because the water pressure is now so much better. They fixed it immediately and WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!

It went awesome!! Plumbing Innovators will always be our "go to" plumbers. On Monday, Aug 18, 2014 my husband noticed two wet circles (about "2 - 3" in diameter each) on our ceiling right below where our master bathroom shower is. I got on Angies List to find a plumber. Plumbing Innovators had the best reviews so I called them the next morning Tues, Aug 19, 2014. They couldn't come out that day but that was fine because I wasn't going to be able to be home anyways so they said they could come out on Wed, Aug 20, 2014 and that I would be their second call that morning and he would call before they came. On Wed, Aug 20, 2014 at 9am they called and said they would be at my house in about 30 min and they were. When they came to my door they were very professional. They introduced themselves - T. J. and Richie, handed me a business card and covered their shoes and came in. They looked at the spot on the ceiling and T.J. felt like he new what the problem was. We went upstairs and T.J. inspected the drain and he was right. He had to replace the gasket and re-putty the drain cover. He was very thorough in explaining things to me. I also had some other plumbing questions concerning our Sewage Grinder System. He took time out to explain those questions and offered other advice to help take care of our pipes in our house. T. J. and Richie were great and we will always call Plumbing Innovators for any of our plumbing needs. I also felt the price was fair.

I contacted Richie with the hope that I could get a pipe moved. The techs came out and looked at my situation and advised that it would probably be too much work, money etc to move the pipe. They gave me a couple of options, answered my questions and offered to draw up an estimate. They were not pushy and were very professional. I decided to put some more thought into the situation and they left without doing anything. However I recently called them back and had the clean-out access pipe removed. They did a great job and again were not pushing anything on me.

We discovered the problem on a Saturday morning and spent a few hours trying home remedies to see if we could fix it ourselves. When this proved not to be the case, I found Plumbing Innovators on Angie's List and called them. Within an hour of my call (which was answered by the owner, who was very gracious and friendly) one of their trucks showed up at the house and solved the problem. Mike (our plumber) was professional, courteous (despite my house being somewhat of a mess that day he still covered his shoes, which was appreciated) and explained the costs and process up front. I thought it was a bit expensive, (they do a 5% discount for Angie's List members) but given that they came out on a Saturday, almost immediately after my call, and I was able to do my dishes within the hour, I was happy to spend the money. Overall - great work, courteous service providers and excellent customer service. I will definitely call them again if the need ever arises.

I am in a new house (6 months) and noticed water bubbling up in the front yard close to the meter. The builder immediately blamed 'utility construction must have damaged the line' and refused to do anything about it (even though there had been no construction on the property for 6 months) I found Plumbing Innovators on Angies list with excellent reviews and immediately contacted them. They conducted the initial survey within 30 minutes and initiated the mandatory emergency repair dig call to Miss-utility. They had equipment (digger) and 4 plumbers onsite and ready to dig as soon as the mandatory utility marking was complete. They carefully excavated around the line until they found a leaking fitting with two broken clamps close to the meter. They were very helpful in allowing my close to the dig in order to document that the failure was due to improper installation and they professionally and quickly repaired the broken fittings. I was particularly impressed with the care they took and the professionalism of the staff. They were very careful to re-fill and compact the disturbed soil to minimize settling and made every effort to restore the dig area to the best condition possible. I felt the cost was reasonable given the emergency nature of the repair and the requirement to bring in heavy excavation equipment required to access the buried line. Leak location, excavation, repair and site restoration was completed within 5 hours of the first call, and that includes 3 hours of mandatory waiting for the utility companies to mark their lines prior to digging. Additionally, they were careful to preserve evidence of the improper original installation, and provided an impartial write up of their findings and cause of the leak.

The technician was nice, it took about an hour for him to take out my old sump pump and put a new one in, but I have a few problems First I think the price was very high especially in this economy. Second issue my top to the sump pump does not fit anymore do to how the tech installed the sump pump, Second since he redirected the pipe for the way to go out, it pumps out all over my stairwell. I wanted my sump pump installed, that I had just bought and I was told for alittle more their sump pump would have a 2 year warrenty so I agreeded, Then afterwards I was told that they could not give me a 2 year warrenty because the sump pump area does not have a basin! So to me that was wasted money! I asked the technician if he could install an outlet for the sump pump, and was told I needed to call an electrician. Overall I was not impressed, and would not recommend

My well pump died when I was out of state and my wife was alone. I was initially hesitant to have anyone come out. These guys werre great.. constantly joking with themselves (there were 3 working) and my wife to make her feel relaxed about them being there. All work was done quickly and the area was cleaned up. I was on the phone with the lead (TJ) a few times from the airport on my way home and he explained everything in detail and actually talked me out of a few additional services that I was trying to get performed. They weren't necessary. That is something that you do NOT see every day. These guys had the integrity to let me know what I really needed -vs- what I tought I needed at a time that I was in the'r mercy, with being out of town I would highly recommend these guys to anyone for plumbing work. Definitely the kind of company others should aspire to.

I contacted Plumbing Innovators through Angie's list. Richie called within 1/2 hour and set up an appointment for an estimate. His estimate was half of the other I had recently gotten. Once we agreed on the contract, the work was accomplished within two weeks which included the time to pull the permits and a several days delay for weather. The crew was very professional and did an excellent job of changing the plumbing in the basement from the previous well/water treatment arrangement. A very heavy rain storm after the job was completed resulted in settling of the back fill in the ditch that was dug for the water line from the road. I contacted Richie and he had folks out to fill in the sunken areas within days. Overall I was very satisfied with the job and would use them again for plumbing work.

They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Repairs were made quickly and a thorough explanation was given for the need of each repair.

They are great. The guy came and showed me what needs to be done. He was supposed to give me an estimate but he never did so I gave it to somebody who gave me the estimate. I don't like chasing people down to beg them to do the work for me. I used to do that and I am not going to do that anymore. If somebody can't give me an estimate right away then they obviously have too much business. But that it not negative. Again, if I have something break in my house plumbing wise, I would call them and have them come out. But they are also not the cheapest folks in town.

Arrived on Saturday morning when we called late Friday afternoon. Explained all costs and options. Friendly and helpful. Described procedures and reasons. Brought septic piping up to code. Provided warranty documentation for septic pump and installation. No unanticipated expenses. Septic system functioning fine after the work performed.

Wonderful! Everything went smoothly. Very professional, courteous, friendly, and very neat. Price was great, too. Fabulous company!!
