Description of Work: I have had a lot of major problems with Perma Treat over the past 2 yrs. I have been a customer for 25 yrs. | |Perma Treat came to treat ash borers when it was raining. The serviceman ignored my concern and I had to have them come out again and re treat in better weather. | |Next, a service man said I had a dead animal in the crawl space but wouldn't get it out! Then they came for the yearly termite inspection. Even though I told them I needed to be there to unlock the crawl space, they ignored this and came when I was there stating the treated my home. Once again,I had to call back and have them come out and actually do what they pretended they had. They suggested a $600 treatment. I found this odd b/c I had a yearly contract. They said the problem was the dead wood. This was dead wood they didn't remove when they installed the tarp. After countless phone calls on my part, they said they would remove the wood but were still going to charge me $600. | |I have spoken to the manager and President. They both just went back and forth for 8 months! I was insulted by how they treated women customers in an attempt to cover up their poor service! They still refuse to do the treatment at their expense even though their failure to remove the wood in the first place has probably caused the problem. They are trying to charge me $250. | |My friend had a similar experience with this company. I would NEVER recommend Perma Treat! | | |

Description of Work: Place termite bait stations around a ranch-style house which provider will check every 3 months for signs of insects.

Description of Work: We have a yearly contract for ant control and an on going termite surveillance. Great service, Larry is our ant man and he tracks down the trails and prevents them from entering the house, always available between scheduled treatment at no additional charge. Earlier this year when we had some tree work, done found some termites in the soil as I was cutting the trunks up to haul away. They came out and did an inspection of the house (we had had a yearly inspection just a couple of month earlier) and assured me house was in no danger but call if we saw evidence in the house. Again no charge for the call back. Had used Perma Treat when I last lived in Virginia (1990's) and when I moved back they were my go to choice

Description of Work: I've used them for our annual termite inspection and warranty for about 5 years now. They are thorough, reliable and professional in their inspections, and respectful of my time. I have on occasion had to call them to ensure an inspection gets scheduled, but usually they call me once a year when it's time.

The reception team at this organization is also extremely polite and accommodating. They have accommodated me very time I have needed to change the schedule and they call me when it is time to for the next treatment. I would highly recommend this company!

Description of Work: Asked to find and remove a dead mouse in attic. Couldn't find the dead animal(I did in 5 minutes the next day...), sprayed a "disinfectant" , then left an estimate to seal house from mice...$13,700!! Needless to say we did not use them for the job.

Description of Work: The worker was very professional. I purchased a one-time exterior pest prevention treatment. The man who came sprayed around the exterior of my home and garage. He also scattered pellets around the perimeter of both structures. So far, I have not had any spiders, ants, crickets, etc. in my home. If this continues throughout the year, I will probably have Perma Treat perform the same service next year.
