Olde Dominion Pest & Termite Control

As a result of my first contact with Tim years ago I now have a bi-monthly service with Old Dominion Pest. I had a minor termite issue to deal with. Tim and his son Alex did the service and no sign of them since. They are extremely knowledgeable about pest control. They show up promptly, come in service the house inside and out. They spray and set bait boxes and traps. These people know what they are doing. They are thorough. I fully intend to keep this service for a long time. By the way, they don't brake the bank either.

I have lived in my house for almost 3 years and never had a mouse. All of the sudden I felt like I was overrun with mice. I was completely grossed and freaked out. I can not stand mice. I was in tears. I didn't know who to call or what to do, so I looked on Angie's list for recommendations and found Mary and Tim. OMG, Mary and Tim are fabulous. I wish they had more than just extermination business, as they are lifesavers and they could save lives in so many areas of peoples lives. NO ONE cares or has the customer service like Olde Dominion. I called and talked to Mary and she said they couldn't get out for a few days, due to being overbooked already and all customers get top priority. I literally started crying and asked her what I could do in the mean time until she could get to me. She started giving me suggestions and she could tell I was stressed and freaked out, within a few minutes she said she could come over, but she had her 3 year old and was it okay to bring him. I was more than happy for her to bring her grandson. So Mary came over, I played with her grandson and she took care of the mice. She found where they were coming in outside, told me how to fix it, exactly what to get and where to find it at Home Depot. I made the repairs, which were easy, as she had given me all the instructions. Mary called the next morning to check on me and make sure I did not have any problems fixing the issues outside. I am happy to say after I made the repairs we never had another mouse.

The men came out on a Saturday for the first treatment, and then, at my request, scheduled regular monthly treatments. Arriving on Saturday was exceptional, we were having a family gathering on Sunday, and they were willing to schedule a Saturday to help me out.

This is a small family owned business- There is the mother Mary who does scheduling- keeps the books (accounting) and also is an exterminator herself. Tim himself who is a riot- really personable, great with reccomendations/ telling us to move things away from our house for maximum pest control etc. This man is like a pest detective in your house! I am telling you the pests will not get away :). He had to come out more than once and graciously did so- very responsive and attentive to what is going on. VERY Honest- NO price gouging. He will explain in depth the insect you are dealing with and recomend the best course of action- you will not feel pressured or swindled. No sales tactics or alterior motives. No sales quote to meet! Go with these people 110% - you will not be a number. They have helped me with more than pest control too! Very personable- gardening tips, tips pruning for trees etc, actually I think there isn't much Tim doesn't know Something about! Mary is also amazing- I have formed a friendship with her and can stay on the phone with her for hours! I feel very well cared for and comfortable with them in my house- they are prompt and respectful- The only thing I can say is Its like your daddy coming to take care of your house! He does the same job with the same care and love your daddy would. You just don't find that these days! He has a passion for what he does and you will not be disappointed.

I am happy with them. It is a small family operated business. They are very thorough. They take in my environment when it comes to pest control. Not only will they come and spray for me, they will tell me what I need to move or if something is too close to my house. They give me recommendations, which I like. They don't give me any more than I absolutely need. They are very good and they do great follow up. They are very personable people. There is no price gouging. I have a contract with them. I've been with them for 5 or 6 years. I love them. I am petrified of rodents and he is doing a good job. I don't see them. He responds immediately. He usually visits my house when I am at work. If he can't make it, he calls the day before. I will absolutely continue to use them.
