I wanted to make my attic cooler and address some items from my energy audit, so I found Kevin's roofing through a coworker. Upon inspection, they told me that I already had 50% of a an attic vent and all they had to do was finish the job that the home builder started. they could have lied and quoted me full price and I never would have known. so after discussing my needs, Kevin's roofing constructed a ridge vent, upgraded my insulation to R49 (and explained the tax credit to me), and air sealed my attic floor (top plate). Kevin's roofing did a great job of explaining what they would do, documenting what they did, and did great work. Finally, Kevin's roofing has the best receptionist in the contractor business. I have had to call Kevin's roofing 2-3 times since the installation in order to get paperwork to file for tax credits and rebates. Each time, Crystal has known exactly what I needed and sent it to me within 24 hours (usually within 1 hour if electronic transmission is possible). TOP NOTCH.

Wonderful job from start to finish. Kevin came out and inspected my property and gave me a clear written estimate including various price ranges for the products. Answered all my questions, his estimate was lower than the other one I received and he's local which prefer to use when I can. He also does a pre-winter inspection for the first few years to make sure everything looks good; definitely says he stands behind his work. Hope I don't have to find out but I think he'll do it. The crew introduced themselves, were all very friendly and were actually a little early both days; what a pleasant surprise! The second day, they worked on the gutters first, saying it would be less loud and disturbing to my neighbors first thing in the morning. What company does that? Just one example of how considerate the team is. High quality, looks great, will use them again in 30 years when I'll need a new roof.

I was extremely pleased with Kevin's service. Their crew was prompt and efficient. Kevin was personally involved during the entire process. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his insistence on high quality work. At the end of the job, Kevin came by to look at the roof. We did not expect him to drive by, but he knocked on our door and told us that he did not like the look of the new roof. He called in his shingle supplier who also came to our house. The supplier agreed with Kevin that the shingles used on the house had too much variation in color. Kevin told us that he did not want his name associated with the new roof, so at his own expense, he had both new roofs torn up and completely replaced, and he upgraded to a 30-year shingle (again at no cost to us). Kevin's Roofing tends to be more expensive than some of his competitors, but I think the extra cost is well worth it. Kevin really stands behind his work. He put on my last roof about 20 years ago. When that roof developed a leak 15 years after it was installed, I called Kevin, and he came over. He determined that the wind had partially pulled out my roof-mounted TV antenna. He refastened the antenna and repaired the hole at no charge. His integrity and the customer care he provided long after the original install convinced me to hire him again for the replacement job. I highly recommend Kevin's Roofing.

He was friendly and had a concern for me and what I needed. He did a great job on everything. Even after the project was finished he was prompt in following up with concerns.

Better does not exist! Workmen showed up on the agreed date, quickly completed the work, then left me a bill for $0.00, meaning I did not need to pay. Given the state of the economy, the estimate was the right price, but not needing to pay was very unexpected but greatly appreciated! They will be my roofing contractor of choice

KEVIN'S IS WONDERFUL!!!!! Our roof & chimney had been damaged from a tree falling on it from Hurricane Isabel 5 years ago. The original contractor (recommended by our insurance company as a preferred provider) had repaired the siding, chimney, and roof where the tree hit our house. The original contractor had already had to come out & redo work because of leaks due to their poor workmanship and now we had leaks again. Even though the repairs would have been covered by the warranty we did not want the original company to touch our house again. Let me say this again...KEVIN WAS WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! He came out & did a very thorough job researching where the leaks were, (much more thorough than the other companies we had out), what was causing the leaks, took pictures, very clearly explained it, and gave us a written no pressure estimate. He also gave us other possible solutions in case his overall plan was above our budget. On the day of the repairs his workmen showed up on time and all were very polite, professional, & courteous. Kevin, himself, also showed up during the day to check on his crew, make sure everything was going as planned & make sure I didn't have any questions After the work was the crew cleaned everything up & you couldn't even tell any work had been done at my house. Since some of the work being done was due to original damage & poor workmanship from the storm we have worked with our insurance company & Kevin has also been great about that. His crew took pictures of before, during and after the repairs of our house. They have notes of what repairs should have been done to our house at the time of the original repairs & weren't, and other damage the other crew actually did to our house. We have been absolutely impressed with our dealing with Kevin. I will not hesitate to call Kevin's Roofing again in the future for any & all roofing issues in the future & I WILL be recommending him to all my friends!!!

We were extremely impressed with the initial inspection and estimate process because it was so thorough and informative, in comparison to the other estimates we obtained. Kevin's estimate included pictures and a detailed proposal of the materials and labor required to complete the roofing job, as well as, professional literature on the various products and their warranties. Kevin's communication style is genuine, and you feel like you are getting a true representation of the situation without being pressured to make a commitment one way or another. The crew supervisor and workers were very professional and considerate about keeping tools and materials stacked neatly and out of the way so it never looked messy. During the 4 days it took to complete the work, the crew kept a steady pace and cleaned up around the house each evening prior to leaving for the day. On the final day they had my driveway, sidewalk, deck and porch area looking better than it did before they started! Kevin stopped by to check on the progress and confirm the details of our problem areas and how they were being addressed. He also arranged for an electrician to handle hooking up the three attic fans, and my husband pulled a "while you're here, could you look at..." and the electrician actually completed another task for us in addition to what he was contracted to do for Kevin. My husband was impressed with the electrician, which goes to show that in addition to an efficient roofing crew, Kevin contracts high quality folks for all aspects of a job. We are more than satisfied with our new roof; it makes our home look so much better. I find myself stopping in the driveway just to admire the beautiful look of the new shingles. I'm sure we will also be happy to see the reduction in our heating/cooling bills now that we have an improved ventilation system on the roof. Thank you to the team at Kevin's Roofing. The estimator was professional and explained everything we needed to know. We visited the showroom and picked out our roofing materials and signed a contract. The work was done on time and the cleanup was thorough. We heard about Kevin's from many friends and neighbors and all have been very satisfied with the work. Kevin is a local resident.
