Very good with people showing up on time and the fence looks outstanding. They could have done a better job cleaning up afterwards, but were in a rush with a hard rain storm beginning. Regardless they got the job completed on time despite the rain.

They were an A, price, they came out cheaper than any other company that had given me an estimate, the only problem, it really wasn't even a problem is, they're busy, its a small business and I love that so I just don't mind waiting, I just don't, I really don't. He was one of the owners, came out to do what he needed to do and told me it would be about three to four weeks and it was about 4 weeks but it was worth it. Its all about the small business for me, I'd rather work with a small business that hires folks that are built to be local folks, they look like they were employing summer kids, college kids and the foreman looked like he'd been doing the job for a long time.

The design is a very good mount Vernon style, especially like the that the posts are on the outside. The quality of installation and the team was first class. The price was also very reasonable compared to other estimates. The only issue is their timeliness calling back, etc. but even with this issue I would choose them again. The fence looks great.

Each board fits perfectly -- it looks so good that we are hiring them again to do the other side (in case our other neighbors decide to get a dog!). Everyone we were in contact with at H and S were very professional and accommodating. Grover was very timely in providing the estimate. On the day of installation, the Santos and his crew were a little late showing up, but that was because they were delayed on the job they did earlier in the day (I'm sure it was because they wanted to do a perfect job). Our job was finished that day and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend H and S.

Owner came out and gave estimate of cost and start date. Start date had to slide one week, but he called and gave us notice. Totally professional in performance.

The day of the estimate, Grover was on time and extremely helpful. He walked the location of the fence, performed measurements, discussed all of the factors and issues that we might want to consider. He even took the time to describe why some of the choices commonly made were good or not so good ideas. Everything was discussed and tailored to the needs of my family and our 2 dogs. A small deposit was needed to be sent in once we had made a decision. No pressure was made on the day of the estimate to decide on the spot, no high pressure sales gimmicks and no drama! Very refreshing! It took the anticipated 4-6 weeks to have the material ordered and have Hand S contact us for an install date. I have to say, the communication during that time was hit or miss and they did not return calls quickly if at all. Even after the install date was agreed upon, I had a couple questions and left a message for a return phone call. No response. Now That being said, I do give these folks credit because they are a very small company and those folks that are to be returning calls are actually in the field doing what they do best. This company saved me over $5,000 or 50% of the total estimate I received from a major competitor. For that, I guess I can live with out the touchy feely part. The also coordinated with Miss utility to have the utilities marked prior to install. The day of the install, they showed up on time and as planned. Bill showed up with 2 installers and got them on their way. The laid out the site and asked specifics regarding gates and actual layout when anything was questionable. They were sure to take our septic field into consideration so that no damage was done there. The install took 2 days (in very hot conditions). The installers were courteous, patient, and understanding. The result was a beautiful fence that we are extremely happy with. The lines and contour of the fence with the yard is amazing and we couldn't be happier! We are very happy with our decision to use Hand S Fencing and Landscaping.
