They were very professional and did a great job. Cut,trimmed and cleared wood and branches in about 90 minutes. Highly recommend.

Our tree is very old, but was dropping branches and was looking a bit scruffy. Matt recommended that we deadwood the tree and reduce the canopy. The tree now looks fantastic, and is much safer. We're very happy with the work. Everyone we talked to at Goodfellers was courteous and professional. We plan to use them again soon to remove a tree blocking the view of our gorgeous red oak.

I'm satisfied with the job I hired Goodfellers to complete. Had an estimate in hand within 6 hours of filling out the online request form. Had the job scheduled within less than 48 hours. And the job itself took about 4 hours of work. The guys were respectful, asking permission before driving on any part of my yard -- and did exactly what was expected of them.

Our neighbor was having some trees taken down and we also needed one removed. When Goodfellers came out to quote their job he also gave us a price to remove ours. We have had previous quotes from other tree services and they were the best. Since my neighbor used them before and trusted them, we went ahead and had ours removed. The crew was professional and courteous. They took care and cleaned up when finished. I was also pleased to notice the safety precautions that they took and their communicate with each other. They were trained right. Good job guys and I'll have them back again.

Goodfellers were very quick to respond to my request for a quote, gave me a reasonable price, and made me aware of a 10% discount they were offering. Matt came out and gave me a very good explanation of the scope of the project. He has a very talented team that took down some very large trees in some tight quarters near adjoining fences, a shed, and large deck, all with no damage. They cleaned up the area well and picked up large amount and weight of wood in a timely manner. Will use them for any future tree projects and highly recommend their service.

Great. We've used two other tree services in the area and Matt and his crew were the best by far. From what we can tell, it's a small company. The owner was here for nearly all of it (except stump grinding). He is also the certified tree guy. You'd be hard-pressed to find a provider who knows more about trees. He immediately diagnosed the problems and was very clear whether something should be removed or not. Pricing was consistent with others and that's all you can ask for.

Great work. Exceeded my expectation. I had them come out and clear a bunch of brush from my property. Trees that were piled up from my lot and the adjacent lot being cleared a few years ago, along with a bunch of trees I cut down. The did a great job clearing all the trees off the property and removing dead, fallen trees as well. My only complaint is their lack of punctuality. The job was originally scheduled for a Monday when I was off for work. The called me that morning to inform me that they would not make it to the job because their truck was in the shop all weekend and still was not fixed. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that they might not have been able to make it that day. So they rescheduled for Thursday to be there before I had to leave for work. They said they would be there at 9am. I called them 3 times before finally getting a call back at 11am saying they would be there at 2pm.....after I left for work. So my wife had to deal with them alone while watching our toddler while I was at work. Just very unprofessional to be that off with times. But the work was very good.

We are very pleased with their work. They are punctual and finish the work in a timely manner. They clean up before they leave. Their prices are very competitive and the best part is they are certified arborists!

Perfectly. The work was started and completed as promised. The appraisal was handled professionally and the work to be done was clearly described. The work was handled with care, with no damage to surrounding plants or yard.

It went well. The reason I gave them a C for punctuality is they were supposed to show up a 10am. I called several times to the office to find out when they would arrive. I finally received a call back after 1pm that they had to go to an emergency first. While I understand the emergency took priority, I would have expected a proactive call in the morning to let me know

Goodfellers Tree Service arrived with Matt and crew at precisely the time they said they would. He got right to work and thinned out the canopy of the large pine by the garage. This removes excess weight from the top of the tree and makes it safer for all of us. They cleaned up all the debris and you cannot tell anyone was even here. I have used Goodfellers a few times over the years and Matt is very knowledgeable about the trees and offers a fair price. If you need tree service give them a try. Being a veteran myself I always make every effort to support veteran owned businesses when I can. Thanks Matt and crew, nice job.

Matt did an excellent job. He cut down two trees and there was a third tree that could not be avoided, so he cut that one down too. The trees were in a close area, so he had to drop the trees in pieces and he did this without any problems. I am impressed with his work ethic and the company's outstanding customer service. Their response to both emails and phone calls were quick and informative. Their price was the lowest of the estimates I received. I will definitely call Goodfellers again!

Matt arrived and we explained the work we wanted done, it was clear he knew his stuff. He understood what we wanted as was able to give us a clear understanding of how he was going to accomplish the job. Recently I contracted Goodfellers Tree Service to remove a large twin bean red oak tree located within 5 feet of my shop. The tree was 80 feet in height and 39 inches at the base and would certainly have crushed the structure when it fell. My first contact with Goodfellers was with office manager Veronica Cherry. Veronica took all my information and relayed it to owner Matt Denson. She then put together a written proposal for me to review and sign. The proposal included a number of different options with associated prices which I found all to be very reasonable and fair. After Mr. Densons on site evaluation of the tree and his price quote we established a time for him to do the job. I'm pleased to say Mr. Denson along with his ground crew member Mr. Paul Crist arrived on site on time and ready for work. Both Mr. Denson and Mr. Crist did and review of the work site noting any hazards or obstructions that would pose a safety concern. They removed a few items from the work site that might be damaged in the process. They took a look at the tree together and Mr. Denson informed Mr. Crist of the method he intended to use to complete the removal. This exchange of information provided a shared understanding of what to expect making for a safer and more productive process. Throughout the operation Mr. Denson and Mr. Crist kept in constant communication through voice and hand signals providing for a safe working environment and protection of all the structures they were working around. Also impressive was the fact that they both were wearing all the personal protective equiptment required and exhibited a genuine concern for safety. Working from the bucket lift Mr. Denson removed the weighted limbs over the shop very technically and professionally without any damage to the roof, gutters or structure itself. When he had removed these hazards he was able to drop the tree exactly where he had wanted. I was impressed with his work and asked him to give me a price on removing two other large tree within the work area. He made an on the spot evaluation of the trees and gave me a very fair price for their removal. I gave him the go ahead and he completed the job as professionally has the first. At the completion of the felling process he and Mr. Crist blew the leaves and small twigs that had fallen on the roof and did a general review of the site. From my experience with Goodfellers Tree Service I would highly recommend the Staff Matt Denson owner, Paul Crist ground crew/swamper and Veronica Cherry for their professionalism, technical ability and friendly prompt service to anyone in need of tree removal service. Goodfellers Tree Service arrived with all equipment necessary to perform the requested services in a safe manner. Good, fast service, and great clean up. One rain gutter was damaged from removal of a tree close to the house but the gutter was replaced the same day the job was completed.

Plenty of communication from start to finish. Cleaned up the entire work area. Very helpful. Rained on the scheduled day and was able to reschedule the following day (which was impressive as I am sure it created quite a busy day). I had contacted Goodfellers about a tree needing removal and had asked for estimate on anything else they may see. The Bradford pear was listed as needing canopy thinned to prevent stem failure, I looked it up and sure enough this tree is prone to that problem. I was getting estimates from two other companies, the first did not pick up on the Bradford pear and after Goodfellers visited I cancelled the other one. Price was fair but it can't be all about the cost, I need a tree service I can call that is also knowledgeable, able to see and identify a potential issue and offer advice on long term care. That is Goodfellers.

Very professional job. They were knowledgeable, skilled, and easy to work with. Took 3 large trees down with no damage to any other shrubs. It was quick (1/2 day) and did a nice job cleaning up. I would recommend them.
