Description of Work: The owner was personally involved with the job of replacing our well pump that was only 10 years old. He showed us how our builder (Toll Brothers) used a less dependable brand and how the wire was not wrapped as it should have been. This caused it to wear out prematurely and he genuinely felt bad that we had no water for 3 days. His crew was courteous and wonderful to deal with. They ended up doing the work for half as much as we were quoted by a larger company. We would highly recommend them for any plumbing, repair or renovation job!

Description of Work: Made contact with Patrick Farrell. Was very nice on the phone and seemed to care about my problem. Was supposed to come out but had to cancel because of an emergency. NOt a problem as it was a cool day and my problems seemed to show up on hot days. Called and left a message the following week and he never returned my call. It is June 16th and still have not heard from him.

+ -1 moreDiscovered water damage in downstairs bathroom wall. Determined that the drain pipe for the upstairs bathroom had a crack nearly the length of the pipe and was leaking inside the wall. Paul Maas showed up on time and replaced the pipe with minimal drywall damage in under two hours. He was very polite and friendly.

I recently moved to this area and bought a home that needed some plumbing work, found Pat Farrell on Angie's list, he gave me an estimate that was very reasonable, called the evening before, came on time, explained things when issues arose, did the work quickly and well. He went above and beyond, working an hour and a half longer than he expected and didn't charge me more than the estimate. He was personable and professional and I'll definitely recommend him to all, and will call him again if I need a plumber.
Description of Work: Installed a new kitchen sink, faucet, drinking water faucet, toilet part, and worked on my hot water heater.

+ -1 moreMjr. Farrell called the night before (for the free estimate & both work dates) to confirm the time he was coming over. He was prompt and courteous. When he was here for the estimate, he took his time, measured everything twice and was able to give me a quote before he left. The first day of the job went smooth. Old pipes were taken care of and new ones were put in. We were very happy with him because two other plumbers had told us they would have to cut a big hole in the ceiling of the basement to reroute the pipes. Mr. Farrell was able to do everything through a hole in the floor where the cabinets were going. We did not have to replace the kitchen floor or the basement ceiling. Once the cabinets and counters were installed, he returned to hook everything up. He did a fantastic job - we were extremely happy with his work. Mr. Farrell was easy to talk to and answered all the questions we had. We will call him again for any plumbing needs we may have.
Description of Work: My husband and I gutted and remodeled our kitchen this summer. We moved our sink and dishwasher from the wall to the center of the kitchen on the island. Mr. Farrell came out twice - the first visit was to disconnect and cap off the existing plumbing and get the new pipes installed. The second visit was after the cabinets and counters were installed to hook up the sink, dishwasher & garbage disposal.

+ 0 moreHe replaced an outside spicket, and he replaced it with parts that were better than what I had before. He put a valve in where there was supposed to be one, but wasn't. I'm excited to have him come back and give an estimate on our water heater!

+ 0 moreI called him on Saturday about replacing a hot water heater. He was busy on another job and would not be able to help me until monday but we disccused my needs and he explained my choices. I asked him to come out Monday morning at 0700 and he did. The job was done well and the product was what I wanted. I would reccomend him and will hire him again. I could maybe have found a cheaper water heater online but Did not want to.

My husband did a lot of research on water heaters and was amazed that some plumbers he called didn't seem to know much about the models they provided. Farrell Plumbing was knowledgeable and actually provided a better model for the price than my husband was asking for. We have other plumbing work needed in our home (hooking up the plumbing for the basement), and we will definitely be looking at Farrell Plumbing for that. Highly recommend.
