The team showed up on time as scheduled. They were absolute professionals in every way; prepared, attentive and knowledgable. They listened and understood the issue, providing an initial assessment in laymen's terms and went right to work on the problem. They provided outstanding service with minimal impact to me, my home or my source of electrical power. The team had a very informative cost breakdown for services and provided a detailed explanation of all work to be performed. I never doubted the price, nor feared any hidden costs. During the course of their work, I determined that the team had over 20 years of experience and it was clear to me that they were proud of their work and their ability to provide such great service. Arrived on time and immediately started work and finished within two hours. While working upstairs electricians noticed that the smoke detector was defective and recommended replacement. Also checked smoke detector in basement stairs, and replaced that one too. Very pleased that electrician noticed and replaced these. We overlook the importance of keeping these smoke detectors in working order. I found the electricians knowledgeable, professional, and personable.

Christopher was very thorough. We worked together discussing issues and resolving items. I was in another room when he let two florescent bulks break. Helped with the cleanup however. Other room we had no issues with the bulbs. Took away all old fixtures.

It went great from the initial phone call, to the follow up from the company. Great people all the way. The electrician came earlier than we expected (we received a courtesy call asking if this would be okay), checked every inch of the wiring, and had the porch light on in no time. He was courteous and professional when explaining the pricing. I would call them for any future electrical needs.

The process went without a hitch. I called any number of electricians who did not seem especially interested in a small job following the big storm of a few weeks ago. I called Expert Home Electric by R.D. Samuels, spoke to the woman at the office and received a prompt call to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Two people came out less than a week later to give me an estimate for a transfer switch, a whole house surge protector, and some outdoor lighting. They showed up on time as scheduled, and gave me a clear price that included everything (including all parts and labor). They then were able to install the switch at my convenience a little over a week later, installed it quickly, professionally, and tested/demonstrated how everything worked. They charged at the top of my price range, but it was worth it for the convenience. Prompt, courteous, convenient service. I'm always amazed at how difficult and time-consuming it is to find contractors willing to come out to do work at my house for a reasonable price, but RD Samuels lived up to and exceeded my expectations.
