Let me say, first, that I would use this company again. I needed an outside tap repaired from where the pipe had frozen and ruptured over the winter. That being said, the visit went like this: My call to set up the appointment was answered by a very "matter of fact" lady who simply told me the plumber would be out "Wednesday". No time frame was given. I phoned at 10 AM to get an ETA and a gentleman told me someone would call me back. The plumber called back in about 20 minutes and said he'd be here at 1 PM. They actually arrived early, so I hadn't put the dog up yet and, therefore had to wrangle the dog. They began their work and were here about 10 minutes when they discovered they didn't have the right pipe, so they left to go get the right parts. They were back in about 45 minutes and had the work completed in about 10 more minutes. So, the actual work took about 20 minutes, was completed correctly and at a fair price. One of the workers broke a lamp as he was putting things back. He was very apologetic, cleaned up the mess, and offered twice to reimburse me for the lamp. I let him know that I didn't like that lamp, anyway, and thanked him for ridding me of it. :-) I would not hesitate to call them again when I need plumbing work done

They quoted a fair price, arrived well within the time frame they said they would (it was same-day service), and were courteous, professional, and thorough. I would not hesitate to use them again, or recommend. **Update from yesterday** Bit of serendipity--I found my receipt from the previous water heater installation in 1996. Davis had done that one as well. They did a great job then, and they did this time as well. Wish I'd found it to show Sean--he said our place looked familiar.

Our water heater was about 10 years old and over the weekend showers had turned cold far too early. I called Davis Monday morning and they said they would be out in about an hour, would drain the tank and while it was draining he would go get the necessary supplies and new tank. He arrived as promised, replaced the tank - even moving it to a more convenient area - and cleaned up the area. I was very pleased with his professionalism and service.

I feel that the situation was handled as well as could be hoped for. When I have further need of well repairs Davis Plumbing will be my first choice and will be considered for any other plumbing needs which may arise..

Everything went well. I was delighted that they could fix one of my problems on the spot without additional charge. Two gentlemen, Sean and Dennis, visited my home 12/31/12 following my request for an estimate to perform some plumbing work in the kitchen and two bathrooms. Both men were respectful and allowed me to explain the problems I was having with the plumbing. Then they looked at the problem areas and explained what needed to be done to correct the problems. They explained so that I could understand what work was to be done.

I called them about a drain/sewage problem and the man on the phone said he didn't think his plumbers needed to come out. He gave me some recommendations on what to do and said if that didn't work then call back. His recommendations solved the problem and saved me well over $100 plus got the problem fixed in 30 minutes. I don't think you can beat that!

We had stink coming from somewhere in the basement and could not identify the cause. So we called Davis Plumbing to see if they could rectify the situation. The repairman determined the smell was causing from a dry trap and it would cost about $1700 to rip up my floor and fix it. However, he suggested a plug to seal the drain (and the stench) for about $8. I choose the $8 option and am quite happy.

We are doing some remodeling of a home we just bought - Davis Plumbing installed the dishwasher and new laundry room sink. Sean, the lead plumber, was very patient. First the laundry room cabinet that was delivered by lowes was damaged and Davis Plumbing had to come back after a new cabinet was delivered. Then the faucet delivered with the sink didn't work. Again, they had to come back after I got a new faucet. Both times they did not charge extra for the multiple trips. Sean was extremely professional. Sean kept in touch and was always punctual. I would definitely rely on Davis Plumbing for future needs.

Davis Plumbing and Heating fixed my problem fine. They seemed very efficient. They came and it didn't take them long to figure out the problem. The symptom we had was water coming down on the inside of the house. I was relieved to find out it only took a faucet to fix the problem. I was happy with their service. I think the price was fair.

Received an estimate to replace the water line from the well to the house, probably about 100 yards total. Work was scheduled, but was postponed, however, Davis Plumbing called several days in advance and requested to reschedule and only did so after we told them it would be OK to do so. They had to get some special equipment and due to the length of the pipe, it took some extra effort. They got the water line replaced, then checked to insure there were no leaks. Everyone working for Davis Plumbing was very professional, polite and helpful.

I called because I had a massive leak at my office. They came as scheduled and fixed it.

Arrived in specified time period on the same day that service was called in. Sink fixed relatively quickly. Very pleased with service.

Everything went well. They arrived on time. Assessed the situation and corrected the problem.

Company came out on short notice to look at a large sewage ejector pump that went bad. They spent about 30-45 minutes working on and realized it was beyond their capability. I offered to pay for the service call and they refused. They stated they would not charge me because they could not fix it and gave me the contact info for a company that could. Rare for such professional and honest service these days. If I ever have any other plumbing issues I will make sure to call them. Great company.

It went great from the very first phone call to the completion of the job and I will be using them again for all of our plumbing needs. A 3 generation family run business and you won't find a more knowledgable and responsive company with competitive rates and we highly recommend them. Same day service, follow up phone calls, and on-time.

I was thoroughly impressed with Davis Plumbing and Heating from start to finish! I called in a panic about my running toilet and broken shut-off valve on a Sunday (completely forgetting that it was Father's Day!); after discussing my situation, we agreed that the repairs could wait until the morning. The repairman, Dennis, called before he came the next morning and was exactly on time; he was very professional and very friendly at the same time. He worked quickly and did an excellent job -- he was even quite good-natured about the black widow spiders he encountered when he went to turn off our main water supply! He and I discussed some additional plumbing problems that I will need to address at a later date -- and I will definitely hire them to do the job!

We had a great experience with Davis Plumbing. The were honest, courteous, knowledgeable and fairly priced. One of our tanks in our well had busted and we had no water. They rearranged their appointments so they could come make the fix early in the morning so i could shower and make it to work that day. When they arrived they were very professional and courteous. They made the fix quickly and made a change to they way the tank was installed in the well so the issue would not happen again. I would definitely call and hire them again.

On Monday afternoon, we suddenly had no water. After checking breakers, etc., we determined the 13-year-old pump must have died. Called Davis Plumbing, found on Angie's List, Tuesday morning. Sean and Dennis came early that afternoon. It was a challenging job. There was still a lot of snow on the ground, and our driveway was almost impassable. My husband ferried them and their equipment from the road to our house in our 4wd. Then, the old pump was sitting at an angle, so it took a while to get it out. Once that was accomplished, the rest of the job went smoothly. They had first checked the pressure tank switch to rule that out as the problem. It worked, but didn't look good, so they recommended replacing it, and did so after replacing the pump. Sean and Dennis were punctual, and called when they were slightly delayed. They were polite, professional, considerate, and pleasant. They were here almost 4 hours. We had not asked for an estimate, but were pleased with the cost, which was comparable to a friend's cost who had had similar work done. We will definitely use this company again for plumbing problems, and would highly recommend them.

Davis Plumbing has always been responsive. They return calls quickly, give good information over the phone, arrive in a timely fashion and solve the problems. The plumber usually gives me a good tip on household plumbing issues.
