Julie and Steve were very friendly and explained the work they would be doing. The panel turned out great and I feel much safer knowing it was done right. I would not hesitate to call them again for any electrical work I may need.

I was very pleased with Cody Malone Services. I would probably use them in the future as well. He tried a number of things to fix the problem and he seemed to be very responsible in terms of follow up. He was the one who suggested I contact the utility company. He called me a couple days later to see if I had done that and if it was successful, because there were some other things he might be able to do if the utility company couldn't. As it turned out he didn't need to come back. I was pleased with his efforts, even though they turned out to be unsuccessful. He wouldn't charge me for the second problem, because he had been unsuccessful in fixing my original problem.

Julie and Steve came out and gave us an estimate for laying new wire to accomodate our new range. Our old one was gas and we needed a higher amp outlet for the new one. They ran the wiring from the breaker box in the garage to the kitchen on the other side of the house. At first I was a little concerned how they were going to be able to do this without the wire being noticable. Well they did it. When they were finished, there wasn't a trace of them ever being there. Their work quality is outstanding. The final price was $200 under the original estimate. Yeah!! I would definitely hire them again! The next time I need some work done, they are the only ones I would call.

I found Cody Malone Services on Angie's list. Steve came to give me an estimate, then emailed me to confirm the date and time the day before the appointment, and he and Julie came on time, answered my questions - including ones that weren't related to the work they were doing - worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards, and overall were a great team. I've already recommended them to family, and would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work. I'll call them again when I need an electrician!

About three weeks before coming out to do the installation, Steve and Julie visited my home and gave me an estimate for the job, which seemed reasonable for the amount of work involved. They also communicated with me by email on several ocassions prior to the installation to be sure I was ordering the right transfer switch and power inlet box. On the day they were scheduled to arrive, they arrived precisely when expected and went right work, even though it had started to rain. You wouldn't catch me working on electrical applications in the rain, but these two are professionals and they know what they are doing. After finishing installing the power inlet box on the side of my house, they came inside to wire in the transfer switch and run cable to the power inlet box. The job went very smoothly and Steve and Julie couldn't have been more professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend them. Steve is a master electrician, but his rates, which seem relatively low, don't belie his skill and experience. At the end of the job, Steve even helped me get my generator started and showed me how to set the adjustments so I could get power to the electrical grid. What a great guy! Everything works great and now I'm ready for a power outage (although I'm certainly not wishing for one!).

They arrived on time, completed the work cleaned up and were on their way. I only wish I had more work; they are a wonderful husband and wife team and the kind of honest and nice people you would be proud to call friends. If I could give them higher than an +++A I would.

I asked Steve to replace a foyer light because it no longer light up properly. I had purchased the replacement light and asked Steve to switch them out. He made a minor adjustment to the existing light, which corrected the problem and avoided the need (and expense) of replacement. He also repaired two other lights, saving me much effort and money. Steve and Julie's customer service was outstanding and the price was very reasonable. I expected to pay twice as much. I will definitely use them again.

First of all, this was the best experience that I have ever had with electricians. Steve and Julie arrived right on time and were very thorough at looking over the job (the first visit was for an estimate). They were very concerned with coming back to do the work at MY convenience, which was so refreshing. The estimate was extremely reasonable. They arrived to do the work right on time and did an excellent job. They were very interested in how I liked the work, and told me to call at any time with questions or issues. I am recommending them to all of my friends. They will work all over Northern Virginia. It was a pleasure working with them!
