Steve and Julie came on time, did a great job and cleaned up any trash. They had come previously on 5/20 in response to a request to fix a circuit breaker that would not stay engaged. They treated this as an emergency and came the same afternoon. The breaker was engaging when they got here so no work was done. They refused to charge for the trip or their time. They are prompt, personable, professional, do good work, are reasonably priced and great to work with. They also like my dog. Without a doubt, I shall be contacting them for any future electrical needs.

They do excellent work and they are a husband and wife team. They hung lights, put in switched on our wall and did not leave any holes in our walls to be patched. They cleaned up after themselves. They are very professional and friendly. If we have any other electrical work to get done in our home, they are the ones we will be calling to get it done. ,

They (Steve and Julie) were very professional and layout the plan very efficiently so entire space in my family room get fair amount of light. They have also advised how the recess lighting works, and explained everything on each step while installing the recess lights. They have cleaned up everything after the completion of installation. They were so nice and helpful providing best and accurate guideline as per my need. They also took care of my other electricity issue I was having, and installed the new three way switch without any additional cost. I am extremely happy with the service they provided and highly recommend this business for your need. Their pricing is reasonable and we will use them for all of our electricity need in future. They arrived at the time they promised and provided all the information about recess lighting they are going to installation before their arrival.

The installation was great. They went into our attic and cut holes from there so there were no drywall repairs needed. This was a huge plus and was unexpected. There were just a couple glitches. The 1st was that they didn't have a LED dimmer switch available for the install so they had to come back. I think they thought we already had one installed. This wasn't that big of a deal and wasn't an inconvenience. The other issue was the quality of the LED bulbs they installed. They were terrible and didn't work with the dimmer switch they installed. I had to replace them with models that worked with a dimmer; this cost me an extra $60 on top of the $60 extra I spent with the provider.

Very happy with this service. I called them in the morning when my wired in smoke alarms would not stop chirping. Steve and Julie were able to squeeze me in during their busy day. They were fast and very sweet with my curious dog. I would highly recommend them. We will be calling them for our electrical needs in the future.

We self-installed a brand new ceiling fan in our master bedroom last Summer and it worked fine all Summer long until it didnt. We checked the wiring and everything was hooked up fine, but we weren't sure what the issue was. I came on to Angieslist and saw Cody Malone Services had great reviews and offered $10 off services. I contacted them via the Angieslist messaging system and I got a response right away. After giving them my issue and location, I received a call from Julie and we set up a time for them to come out and check it out the next day. Steve and Julie arrived promptly at their designated time and did some troubleshooting and said the issue was a bad receiver and they'd come back on Friday to replace it. They gave me a window they could come and then when the day arrived, I got a call from Julie to give me the approximate time of their arrival. They came and within minutes fixed our ceiling fan and programmed the new remote. It made my day. They take credit cards and were able to process payment right there via smart phone. Technology is great. Would definitely recommend them as they are professional, prompt and know what they are doing. Not to mention, pricing is reasonable.

The team is fantastic. They were prompt, clean and very courteous. They are very dog friendly too. We will use them for all our electrical needs in the future.

A co-worker referred Cody Malone to me after using them twice with great results Called and immediately made an appointment before the end of the year so I could get the tax credit. Steve did a fantastic job. He was very professional and respectful of our home. WE have had him out again to hide the wires from the television and cable in our kitchen. Again - we were more than satisfied. I would highly recommend Cody Malone and plan to hire them in the future.

Steve and Julie at Cody Malone Services, LLC are a top-notch pair. Steve is a master electrician, which is extremely hard to achieve. We first asked them to diagnose and repair our malfunctioning GFI plug in our basement and a burnt plug outside that leads to our HVAC unit. I tried to fix the GFI myself but the wiring on new GFI?s sometimes does not match those that are older. I needed help. My bathroom was disabled! Steve and Julie came out quickly and charged me a very reasonable rate on the jobs. They had the problems fixed right away. During their first visit, I consulted with them about a better solution for our old, centrally located fluorescent light in our kitchen. Steve and Julie suggested a six-light recessed system on a dimmer. I asked them for a quote and they sent it that night. My wife and I decided to call them back to install the recessed kitchen lights and we could not be happier! The installation was perfect, the material is solid, their price did not creep and the lighting in the kitchen is much better than we expected. They placed the lights in a grid across the kitchen so there are no dark spots no matter where you are. Before, the central light was always at our back and, therefore, blocked the workspace in front of you. Now, all of the workspaces in our kitchen are bright and shadows are eliminated. We are so glad we called them back. We are planning to ask them back for a whole house generator solution and to seek their suggestion for recessed lighting in our front room with cathedral ceilings. Cody Malone Services, LLC is hard to beat. They come on time, do the job right and charge reasonable prices. We will definitely use them again.

They showed up on short notice and worked until they figured out the problem and which line was effected, came up with a fix and quoted a price $500.00 less then the guy I found in the phone book. My wife is already planning on having them come back and install a generator with all switches for this winter. I hope I don't need additional electrical work but if I do I will use these guys exclusively.

Get ready folks.....this is a time warp.......to the time when customer service was the cornerstone of all successful businesses.....not the modern day business strategy of clever marketing trumping the effectiveness of "fabled" customer service. This is the 2nd time I have used Cody Malone as an electrical contractor at my residence. I ALREADY HAVE PLANS FOR A 3RD SERVICE. Enough said! These folks are a refreshing reminder of what I was taught years ago about "fabled" customer service. I dare anyone to reach out to Cody Malone and not get a response within 8 hours.....not the modern customary 48 hours. And it does not stop there....ask them anything and you get a rapid response. For my 2nd service with them, I requested electrical hookup for my new shed, which is more like a small garage to include interior lighting, and power receptacles for both interior and exterior. As per usual, they gave me a detailed estimate and arrived on time. Everything was going perfect until an unexpected snag occurred. Most contractors would have charged me extra for the hour or hour and a half longer the unexpected snag created.....and for the level of their work, I would have been happy to have paid it. Let me add....they went out of their way like before to do their work around the nap schedule of our toddler, who unfortunately has our breaker box in his room. This was very much appreciated! Come bill time, they were within 4 percent of the original estimate. I asked them about not billing me for the extra time and the response was a simple, "that would not have been right". Well they would have been justified for billing the extra amount, but the "warm and fuzzy' I got from them was wonderful. The professionalism is good.....the work is better....and the roll-back to the times of "fabled" customer service is the best. Thanks Steve and Julie!

I called during the week, but they were booked solid (an indication of how good they are perhaps?). Despite this, they took the time to make the effort to come by at 7:00 pm a few nights later to install the light in the bathroom (my schedule did not permit any other time)!! I was super impressed and very thankful that they made the effort - going above and beyond! Julie, Steve's wife, is so kind and very professional. They were running a bit late from another job and Julie called to let me know they would be slightly late. I really appreciated them coming before the holidays to install the light that has been waiting to be put up for nearly a year!

Making the appointment was extremely easy, and they got out to my house within 24 hours. Once they got here, they were quick, efficient, professional, and clean. They even went so far as to sweep up any area they had been working in, whether it needed it or not. They were in and out in about an hour, and the work was superb. If I need any electrical help in the future, I won't go anywhere else; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They arrived at the exact time they were scheduled for and were courteous, professional and thoroughly explained everything they were doing and how I could do it myself. Cody Malone Services arrived on time and surveyed the damage. He first checked to make sure the lines were not live, which was smart because I missed one. He laid down a cloth and got to work. First he made the hole bigger so he can work on it. He spliced the wire and put a cover on. He explained that the law states you cannot cover a splice in the wall with drywall and had to use a removable cover. Afterwards he and his assistant cleaned up everything and you couldn't even tell that they were ever there (beside the fact the electricity was fixed.) When the bill came I was pleasantly surprised. I called them to come in on a Sunday hoping to make my roommate pay extra to fix his hole but they only charged $90.

I have absolutely NOTHING BAD to say about this company. Their communication is the standard for which all companies should strive for. The great communication began the very first day I sent a request for a quote. That same day Steve got back with me and spent 10-15 minutes discussing what I needed and the most cost efficient and effective way to obtain it. We setup a date for the job and conversed several times regarding the details of the job. I requested a Saturday date which they were able to accommodate and even came out a little earlier than originally scheduled per my request. Upon arrival at my house, they were totally professional and VERY efficient in completing the job. They cleaned up behind themselves and gave me a thorough walk through of how to power our home with the backup generator. As I said, I have 100 percent happy with their work and have agreed to give them another job in the near future. Thanks!
