The have replaced plumbing under 2 bathroom sinks and replaced a faucet in my kitchen. |The faucet wasn't covered by insurance, but they got me a great price on installing that. They were punctual, clean, and did great work.

The technician came and within a few moments diagnosed the issue as a leaking faucet, which was clearly needing replacing. Turns out, the faucet wasn't covered by my home warranty, so I hired another contractor to come fix the faucet. Turns out that wasn't the source of the leak. The other contractor said it should have been fairly obvious that the faucet wasn't the only leak and the actual leak repairs would have been covered by my home warranty. All in all, they weren't too tough to get a hold of (I blame delays in contact over them figuring out whether the faucet would be covered by my home warranty, which is excusable) and it seemed like their prices were pretty competitive. Their visit cost me $75 though, for zero resulting service.

Cand P Plumbing arrived Saturday Oct 5th but left without doing the repair and without contacting me - I was forced to do the repair myself. Here are the details: Cand P was contacted through the insurance company to fix a leaking toilet. I waited three days to provide a convenient time for Cand P to come to my rental house. Cand P did not work on mornings which would have been a better time. I supplied Cand P with my telephone number, carefully described the detailed problem and requested that repairman should call me before coming - to coordinate the repair as I had already been engaged in attempting to do the repair myself. I was busy at my niece’s baptism reception but was prepared to proceed to the rental house to help coordinate the repair when contacted. When Cand P arrived at the rental house, they did Not contact me but quickly concluded that the toilet was not in an ideal diagnostic condition and left the rental house without coordinating the repair. If contacted I could have easily described the problem to the plumber to enable the repair. The repair would have been simple for a plumber - I had already diagnosed the leak as coming from the toilet flange or seal. To complete the repair all the plumber had to do was replace the faulty flange and seal and reinstall the toilet. The plumber’s unwillingness to conduct the repair(or communicate why he refuses to do so to provide a chance to straighten that out) left me in a bad predicament.

My toilet was fixed quickly and all is working well. The second leak turned out to be coming from my neighbors hot water heater and the water leak I had was a result of that. She did not know she had a leak and Jack let me know how to look for her plumbing and we found her problem.

Convenient, fast, efficient. Reported Friday, here on Sat morning, repaired tank in 30 minutes. More importantly, gave me free advice on failing sump pump and leaking A/C link, also covered by AHS. Dustin is great, professional - knows the repair business. 5 stars to Cand P.

Came out late at night and fixed the problem quickly and effectively.

I had no problems with them. They did not over charge me and they were truthful. I have been using them for over 10 years. They are very courteous and nice.

Our tenants called late in the afternoon on Thursday with the complaint of poor water pressure. Cand P Plumbing arrived to give an estimate of what needed to be done the following day between 9-12. The technician provided a detailed estimate of what the problem was, and arranged to return first thing Monday morning to do the repairs. Monday morning, the technician arrived, replaced the tank, and my tenants are very happy. They informed me that the technician was a true professional, courteous, and explained to them as well what had to happen.

.The service man arrived on time. He wore protective footwear in the house. He looked at two toilet problems. Gave me and estimate and reduced the service fee since I was a customer before. I thought the price was very fair. He fixed problems in 2 toilets. I have always been extremely satisfied with Cand P, both their work and prices. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

The service was quick however the plumber who came was not interested in answering my questions. The questions I were able to ask he answer in a condescending manner like I was suppose to know the answers to installing a water heater. He also did not put on covers on his shoes nor clean up after himself which I suppose was not part of his job - didn't make any attempt go go above and beyond.

Their price is a little higher than normal. They were here over 2 days as they had to do some re-plumbing to fix something that was not installed properly by the previous owner. They had to bring it up to code. I was satisfied with the job they did and they arrived on time. He took on his grandson and so his price was higher. It was worth it for the quality. He knows his stuff and he is worth it. You don't have to have someone come and redo it. His theory is time is money and he doesn't waste time. He takes as much time necessary to understand the problem. He asks and answers questions but as soon as he knows what is needed he is down to business. He doesn't want to waste people's money doing things that don't need to be done. He isn't going to do anything that doesn't need to be done. He came a week later from when I called and that was because it was not an emergency. I have had him come over for emergencies and he was there within 45 minutes.

This plumber provides service from the home warranty company (AHS), however, I would hire them even if it weren't for the warranty. The workers are professional, prompt and thorough. The plumbing was done very well and they were careful to explain all procedures and precautions. In addition, they helped me solve some problems that turned out not to be plumbing issues. (They didn't do that work, they just helped me identify the problem.)

Replaced water heater,cleaned up and dried the area, really great job, completely pleased with service and price.

Had a well pump replaced using a home owner warranty. The company responded immediately. The crew came out a little later than estimated during the day and had to work into the night, but they did a great job. The guys were excellent, answered all my questions, informative, and easy to work with. Total price of job was $3938, with home American Home Shield (AHS) warranty paying $1500. I also highly recommend AHS. They worked hand in hand with Cand P and every thing was taken care of.

. It took them two days to send out a guy to track down a constant leak that was causing more damage to the dry wall in the basement. They did not consider ours was an emergency. When they did come out, the guy cut up the dry wall in three different places looking for the leak. He said he could fix it and that he just has to order the part when he leaves and that he would call back the next day. Since I did not hear from him the next day I called the office. I was quite upset that I had not heard back because he had opened the phase and left it leaking. This is the main water pipe into the house. The office said that he could not fix it and they need to open a whole new area to get to it. So I got very indifferent to their opinion. Then they send out the director of repairs or plumbing or something of that nature. He was very rude. He basically told me that I was lying about what his tech had said and he came out into my front yard and called the tech on his cell phone and screamed at him at the top of his lungs. The tech did finally come out on the next following day with the part, fixed it and they never fixed any of the dry wall which they tore out of my house. Actually we are still having one hole that has not yet been fixed as we are out of pocket. We will not be calling them again. Price wise it was contracted and they did not finish all of the work they were paid for. As for punctuality they were on time every time they said they would be here.

Once Ray got the outdoor unit up and running the indoor unit started leaking condensation all over the furnace again. So I called back and Ray returned. I was horrified to find that United Air temp had lied to me abou thte cleaning the coil was nasty and freezing up. Ray cleaned it up and got us running again. Thank goodness.

They were prompt and courteous. But they left the faucets somewhat detached from the wall. I felt it should have been caulked or something. I have yet to call them and ask about it.

We have a home warranty and they pick who will show up and we've had pretty good luck with Cand P. They show up frequently for warranty work. They have been out many times. Since it is home warranty we just pay $55 and the home warranty company picks up the rest. The guys that show up are usually very good and seem to know what they are doing. They are helpful and will give advice and hints, which may save us from having to call them. We've had good luck with them. They are pretty reliable and seem to be pretty squared away. They do what they need to do and then they are out. We are always happy when they are picked. Normally it is pretty quick after they have been assigned to us. One occasion we specifically requested them to come out.

Poorly, I was left with over $1000 worth of drywall and paint repair work to be done and my icemaker was not fixed. When I call the company the next day stating that I had purchased the new line and would like to set up an appointment, the woman who answered was very rude to me stating that the plumber did not say that he would return and that my icemaker was not covered. The plumber said just the opposite when he came to my house late at night. I said that I would like to talk to someone else, a supervisor, and this man literally screamed at me over the phone for no reason. I calmly stated that the plumber asked me to call back for an appointment when I had purchased the hose and he would come to install. The supervisor was so rude and obviously did not want to do it without another fee; he said he decided I was lying and not to dicipline the plumber. This was a complete nightmare, so I just told him to forget I had called. I ended up using a great company called Able Plumbing and placed a report here. Best Buy even refused to back their ice maker installation work, although I have a 5 year warrantee on the refrigerator. Lessons Learned: Don't purchase appliances from Best Buy and your HMS Service deals with shady unprofessional companies like Cand P Plumbing.

First of all they were fast to come out to provide us an estimate, turn it into the warantee company so that the work could be done. When the worker showed up he was nice to my wife and kept her in the loop with everything he was doing. He cleaned up after himself and did the work right the first time. We hope that we don't have to call them again, but if we need a plumber in the future we know what company we are going to call.

This company was required on a home warranty service -- the following tale of woe is at least as much the fault of HMS warranty service. I called HMS home warranty on Fri am with a leaking water heater. They said Cand P would call me that day. HMS refused to let me call any other service provider. No phone call Fri from plumber. Between 10 pm Fri and 9 am Sat, my 50 gallon water heater had burst all over my finished basement, and was continuing to leak. Cand P could not service me on Sat without "overtime approval" from HMS. They could also "not schedule someone to come out immediately or possibly until the afternoon" even if I could get HMS approval. Meanwhile the tank continued to release water at a fairly high rate. I finally got them to come out that morning by threatening to sue HMS or Cand P if the damage got worse while they neglected my call. When the Cand P plumbers arrived later in the morning, they were polite and thorough. However, they had orders to try to repair it first --even on a 17-yr. old unit. When they decided to replace it, I had no choice in quality of unit, although it was the same size as my previous unit. I was offered only $158 on a "buy-out" if I chose to replace it elsewhere. The plumbers who came to my house were cooperative, did the replacement promptly, and cleaned up after themselves. I appreciated their help. They were not the problem. As for Cand P, I have no idea how much of the fiasco is a result of the policies and restrictions of HMS, the warranty company. But I should have had a replacement on Friday, before it blew. Now I have a basement which will have to have all the carpet and half the baseboards replaced. If they had waited 2-3 hours or more to service me, as they planned, I would have lost all the drywall too, and probably all of a downstairs kitchen, as well as the contents of boxes from our move-in last fall.

Service was arranged through home warranty company. Cand P send out a plumber on Saturday - he tried to fix but broke a pipe and his tool. Another plumber was supposed to come on Monday with the proper tool, but on Monday we were told that someone would be there Tuesday between 8 and 4 with 30 minutes advance notice. Luckily I work nearby, but that's a big window. On Monday I gave the company additional contact information, but when I called to check in on Tuesday, they said they didn't have it. I got the call at 12:00 that the plumber was on the way and they were waiting when I got there 15 minutes later. Both the plumber Thor and his assistant/apprentice were very courteous. After trying to repair from the access panel, they had to cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling to get to the pipe. The job was fixed in a little over an hour, and they took time to show me what they did as well as some secondary damage.

I live in a 27 year old house and we had all plastic piping, so we had C and P Plumbing come in and replace the old pipe with copper ones for us. They also had to replace the shut off valves. The workers were all professional, courteous, and efficient. It was an overall good experience.
