The work was performed quickly and the guy who came was very nice and did a good job. No comment on prices as I only had to pay the $55 required by my home warranty. My only real complaint and reason I would not work with them again is their window for repairs. I was given an 8 hour window for when they would come which I feel is very unreasonable. I could deal with a 4 hour window but 8 hours? Who has time to sit around and block off 8 hours of their day. This makes it virtually impossible to get work down during the week as most people work full-time. They do call when they are about 30 minutes away so you can go withing a 30 minute radius (although in my case the guy called and was there withing 15 minutes), but it still confines you. In my case they came closer to the beginning of the window so it was good, but had it been at the end I would have been very annoyed.

My home warranty company chose Cand P for the job. If Cand P had simply asked me a few questions over the phone, they could have diagnosed the problem without ever coming out. Instead, I had to take a half day off work and pay a $60 trip charge. The technicians arrived within the time window specified. I explained the problem (water backing up into the basement shower) while we walked downstairs. They told me what the mainline sewer was blocked before we ever even got to the basement bathroom. Because of the specifics of my home warranty coverage, I have to jump through a few hoops before they'll cover clearing the blockage, so Cand P left after making a few phone calls. However, they bring a mainline snake with them that morning, so they couldn't have done the job anyhow without making a second trip. HUH?! That made no sense to me. I'll ask my home warranty company not to send Cand P to my home again.

They showed up on time (within the window provided) and went right to work. It didn't take them long to determine the sump pump had to be replaced. They had brought one with them and were able to put it right in. They were at my house for less than an hour.

The original time line proposed was 2 days. The initial project took much longer than expected. I witnessed unprofessional behavior from the staff who did the original work. They used our bathrooms and left them in an unfit state. After the shower was tiled, about 4 weeks later the grout started to come up. I called multiple times to let them know, and had to put in writing and send pictures to get a response. They scraped and regrouted at no additional charge. Now, 1 year later, there is more grout damage. I am not satisfied with the work, but don't think it's worth going back to them to get it fixed again.

The experience was okay. There appeared to be a leak, but the plumber didn't really seem to investigate. He just took my word for it regarding where it came from, and I was just guessing. He seemed to know what he was doing - he replaced the toilet seal and he did tell us it was leaking and that there was some mold. I had lots of questions, but he didn't seem patient enough to answer them. But then again, I'm pretty stupid when it comes to this stuff. Overall though, the job got done.

The plumber was obtained through a home warranty service. The plumber called for a description of the problem and had me check a "clean out" to see if the problem was in the home or outside sewer line. After checking and finding the problem was in the home, I phoned back in 10 minutes and the plumber, Sean, indicated he would arrive within two hours. This was Thanksgiving morning, and he was on another job. Sean arrived on time and assessed the situation. He unclogged the line, and diagnosed the problem was a defect in my drainage system, either roots or broken pipe. He recommended a drain specialist to clean the drainage system, rather than another plumber or even his company.

After a severe flood in our basement, another plumber suggested $1,700 to replace a 50 gallon water heater. Cand P was my second opinion and they assessed there was nothing wrong and they started it right up. Rep was Carl.

They arrived within scheduled time frame and checked and replaced switch. I was able to get an appointment within one week.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. I RECEIVED GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD A QUICK RESPONSE. I WOULD REFER THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS COMPANY.

HE IS VERY RELIABLE. HE IS ON TIME WHEN I NEED HIM. HIS PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. HE KNOWS VARIOUS THINGS ABOUT PLUMBING WORK AND I HAVE CALLED THEM ON MANY OCCASIONS FOR DIFFERENT ODD JOBS.
