C & R Carpet & Rugs

UPDATE - this is an update to my previous review. The service provider returned to complete the vinyl flooring and painted over the scuffs/marks on the walls. I rated them poorly on punctuality since I was told they would arrive after 1 pm (which to me meant a reasonable period of perhaps 1-2 hours after 1pm). However, by the time the installers arrived at my house it was nearly 6pm.

Completed in 2 days. The speed and quality of work was excellent -- very pleased.

We were extremely pleased with the service and products. Mike and Khalid were pleasant, informative, responsive and professional. There was a small oversight in the quote we were given, but Mike honored the original quote without question. I would not only recommend C & R, I would definitely use them again!

In our opinion, this is the best flooring company in our town. Mike was great to work with and the price was very fair. The vinyl planks were of higher quality than those we saw in the "big box" stores. We have received many compliments on our basement flooring - by family, friends, and other contractors! We would not hesitate to use this company for our future flooring needs.

It has gone great. They worked on my floors for about 4 days. I am very happy with them. They were very fair and reasonable.

I selected the date and time of installation. They were right on time and everything went great.

The office manager, Joe, was excellent to work with. The crew that did the installation was very professional and did a great job.

Installation date occurred as promised, was efficiently done and looked good. In the 3 weeks between ordering and installation, I was shopping in a lot of ''big box' stores and think I may have gotten a better deal and higher quality carpet at Lowe's or Home Depot. His price seemed a bit high ($1247 for 2 bedrooms).

We went to the store (Central Park) to pick out the carpet where we meet a very knowledgeable manager. We picked out the carpet and pad and he then scheduled an appointment for someone to inspect the home and measure the space. In a world where no one seems to be time for appointments, the person who measured the space was on time and very nice as well. The installers were on time and did a very professional job.

Everything was very professional, low pressure, great recommendations on what product to install and where. Good pricing and prompt service. Install crews did complete removal of old carpet and cleanup.

It went very well. The met my expectation time wise. They will be back to take care of the little details. They were prompt, courteous and professional.

They responded quickly and took the time in explaining the various materials. They did it when they needed to; they were fast and prompt and communicated well.

They were beyond excellent. The customer service was very responsive to request and I've used them when I was moving to my new home and I had delays because of closing issues and they worked with me on rescheduling the installation and they installed all the hardwood in less than 2 days. I have already recommended them to friends.

They did a good job and their prices and service seemed better than the others we had been checking out. Their sales tactics were low pressure.

The installation team showed up on time and ready to work. After a quick tour of the applicable areas of my home, they went straight to work. They moved all heavy furniture, removed the carpet and padding, and cleaned up all of the stray material generated by carpet removal. They then commenced installation of the hardwood, completing the effort approximately 6 hours after arriving. The installation team was extremely professional and hard working. They literally worked without stopping for the entire time they were in my home. The quality of the installation was first rate. I found no visible flaws in any of the work they did for me. I couldn't be more pleased with the final product. I would certainly work with C&R again.

They worked with me on the price. They were prompt and professional with the installation. They were very pleasant. There are some outstanding issues and I have noticed some repair issues that needed to be completed. However, I have not contacted them so I don't have a final outcome yet.

Recently move into a house with hardwood floors and needed area rugs under kitchen table and easy chair. Visited C&R and found a color and pattern we liked amongst the huge selection available. Needed an 8x10 and a 4 foot round. Particular carpet we chose only came in 10x15. Binding was offered through an outside company and we ordered both carpets and were given a two week estimate for turn around. Was contacted a couple of days beyond the two weeks and notified the rugs were ready for pick-up. Excellent service and a very satisfying experience overall.

I received multiple quotes from other stores and individual contractors within the area. Mike is very knowledgeable and from the onset was very competitive with his prices. Mike is the difference maker compared to everyone else, he took the time to listen to my concerns and dealt with them accordingly that only a family owned business can. Customer service is second to none. The installers were courteous, professional, meticulous in installing the hardwood and took pride in their craft while assisting me in moving our furniture. We also purchased area rugs and this is where Mike out did himself, he allowed my wife to take several rugs home to see how they would match with our furniture, I made several trips back and forth until my wife finally was satisfied on the choice which Mike so patiently assisted us. We will be using C&R for our future flooring projects.

They installed 820 squared feet of hardwood flooring. They were hard workers and, got the job done fast. They helped me move furniture for no extra cost. They did a beautiful job.
