Update one year after closing: I would not use this builder again. Many issues, and too many to list here. We had an inspection ten months after moving in and prior to the end of our warranty, when we started hearing about other issues in homes down the street. The most surprising and disturbing issue was holes in the roof where scaffolding had been nailed through the roof to install the siding, which would have gone undiscovered without the inspection (and voided the roof warranty). We felt this was a significant indication of the quality of the contractors they hire, and a real concern for the overall quality of the home we purchased. Many other issues which I will not enumerate, just overall poor quality for the $. The roof alone, however, is enough to cause concern for overall quality and make me say I would never use them again. I’ve attached the community mailbox they added to our community. No parking, not even handicap parking, no lighting——just a mailbox stuck in cement, in the middle of weeds, with no maintenance from AB, which it should be during development. We have to call to have grass cut while they still have control of the property. They will turn this over to the HOA (crazy to accep) soon who will have to maintain or fix (not going to be a priority) this atrocity. It should never be turned over like this. This is how they take care of the customers who pay $600k to 950k for the homes in Fawn Lake. Just cheap and shoddy. Is this a reflection of their overall overall construction practices and how they REALLY value their customer satisfaction? I am beginning to think it is. Look at some Atlantic Builder communities while being developed, talk to people in the yard, before you buy blind like we did. You may be sorry if you don’t. Review 5 months after closing. Atlantic Builders: The building process is seamless, and the public relations and communication on the front end is extraordinary. The warranty help after closing has also been good. As we came from a custom built house, I need to temper my remarks remembering that. As long as you remember this is a pre-fab (panelized) construction, you won’t be disappointed in the quality of such things as cabinets and finishing work. You will also realize that you can not make even the SLIGHTEST change in the plan often seen in other construction. The most concerning things to us were the quality of the paint job, and the yard. The paint job was marginal in quality with thin paint in areas, and touch ups with the wrong color. You also had only two choices of colors. The yard was totally unsatisfactory, though they promise you a “fully sodded yard”. Yes it is “fully sodded”, but as my husband is a horticulturist, he is well aware of plant materials, proper planting, and care. There were several types of grass (some not very sun tolerant), planted on hard compacted clay soil. Even though we watered continuously, it was dead shortly after closing, requiring us to spend big bucks to have a decent yard. The yard and landscaping, they tell you immediately upfront, has NO warranty at all. Basically, it is a comfortable house. If you are ok with pre-fab, as we were this go round, you will be happy with the overall home. I recommend them with serious reservations, however, as the yard is the first thing a visitor sees, it is a very expensive fix, and it certainly was not one we expected Date of Service: undefined

Our experience with Atlantic Builders could not be better!!! This is our first new house and we couldn't have chosen a better builder! The entire Atlantic Builders team have been excellent to deal with...Our sales representative, David Boisvert, and Project Manager, Mike Kitts, went over and above to ensure that we were kept abreast of all updates, issues, etc., and made the process so very easy for us (especially since we lived miles away). Additionally, since our move in they both have been available and responsive no matter what our questions, concerns and issues are... We are so very happy with our house (excellent construction, efficiency) and the entire construction, purchasing and move in process - we highly Atlantic Builders to our friends, and for that matter everyone!!!!

Description of Work: My wife and I purchased our second home from this company on 12/17/2014. we purchased our first home with them on 01/06/2009. Their customer service is probably one of the best in the business; which is why we've purchased two homes with them.
