Johnny Amador is a true craftsman. Not only did he beat all other quotes, his attention to detail and craftsmanship goes above and beyond the quality of the builder of our new home! We just moved to our new home and needed some extras. Johnny was referred to me by a friend and I had seen he work at her home. I was aware of his work from a job he did for me at my last home. There was never a need to call him back to correct anything as he is a professional. It all started with us hiring him to build a closet for our basement bedroom. During this time he noticed I had other contractors coming over to provide quotes for other work I needed, i.e. Stairs, Shed and Pavers. I was not initially aware of Amador's vast building experience. As a result, he quoted me prices for the same job and assured me that he would build it better with quality materials not listed in the quotes. I was not initially prepared to spend $15k all at once but I could not pass up the opportunity. More importantly, his quality of work and attention to detail stood out. He built the stairs leading from our porch (that came with the home) matching the trex and vinyl hand rails, he did a greta job laying our stamped concrete patio that is 400sf.( for 1/3 the price of y quote for pavers) and my shed is the best in the neighborhood. Amador is hands down the best contractor in NOVA! I have owned two homes in my 10 years here and I will not allow anyone to work on my home but Amador! Call him!

I called and emailed Amador based on a recommendation from a friend. I was promised a call back to schedule an estimate - waited 2 days and never heard back. I called them and emailed them but no response. Very disappointed in them.

Amador construction came out on time to provide a estimate,They were on par with other estimates I had been given but I chose them based on the extra time they spend with me during the estimate. The project started on time and they worked around my schedule even on the weekend. Workmanship was great and workers cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. Communication was great and they even did a few extra that where not part of my original estimate free of charge. Highly recommend these guys!!!

Our second experience with this provider. (Two years ago he transformed our basement into a beautiful entertainment area including wet bar and kitchenette and magnificent bathroom.) When it came time to update our kitchen, living room and dining room we didn't even consider looking at any other contractor. His staff does excellent work on their own and then Johnny points out little details that we as homeowners may have missed that would add to the perfection of the finished product. HIs high quality work and attention to detail cannot be praised enough. He was recommended to us by a friend and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody wanting to improve their surroundings. We feel his workmanship has added more in value to our home than the cost of the work alone.

They're very outstanding. They do everything. This was the third time I've used him. I told him what colors I wanted and he picked out things of my choice. He's professional. It took him a couple of weeks to get things done. When they left, you never knew they had been in your home. They didn't mess all over. When they store something in the basement, it was neatly stored and you didn't know it was there. There never had been more than 2 workers in your home so that you would not be bombarded. The price was good. They didn't try to rip me off. They're just great, I was really impressed. I like the quality of service. I trust him. The portfolio is outstanding.

Overall the work was excellent and we highly recommend them! We found them through Angie's List and recommended them to our landlord. Yes, we are tenants and the owner of our house is so generous that she offered to finish the basement if we didn't mind the inconvenience of being home for the contractors. Johnny and his crew are amazing. They were easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and returned our calls. They were very professional and hard-working. The work was completed far sooner than the original estimated length of project. The crew was so neat and tidy that you couldn't even tell there was work being done. They were overly considerate, ensuring that they kept the noise to a minimum and carried materials in through a window to keep from using the front door too much. They swept and cleaned up at the end of EACH day. The quality of work was exceptional. The drywall is seamless and so was the paint job. The egress window looks as if it had always been a part of the house. I give them an "A" in the attention to detail department as well.

Overall - A (Outstanding Service). I will always use Amador Construction. They are trustworthy!!!! Amador Construction is AWESOME! I praise God for them.

Very well would recommend them to anyone. They only entered once through the front door each day, then went in and out a window well they created. Everyday when they left you could never tell they were even there each day. If at anytime they could not come out for the day their office called and verified it was OK to do. Also when we needed to be away when we let them know with a day or two notice and it was fine. They totally worked with our schedule and were polite accommodating and made the experience as good as it could possibly be. I give 5 stars out of 5.

Very good. Strongly recommend their services. Skilled craftsmen; polite and punctual. Their finished work represents care and pride in what they do. Unbelieveably fast!
