I had a great experience with Advanced Painting. Steven (Owner), responded promptly to my request for services and came out to assess the project the next day. He provided a timely detailed cost estimate that included painting my home interior and exterior, replacing exterior wood trim, and repairing/staining the deck to ensure it was structurally safe. He also kept me well-informed of the status of the project each day. The work crew was courteous, friendly and tidy. They did a great job protecting the furniture, doors and windows. The house looks wonderful. I really appreciate the care and attention given to my home; and the cost was reasonable. I would certainly use this company again.

Steve came to my house and painted the roof over my bay window so that I could avoid a cube from the HOA. The service was prompt and professional and I didn't have to buy paint or be home! It was also neat. There was no paint where it shouldn't be. I paid 25% upfront and 75% after the job was completed.

The entire interior of home was painted for us to sell the home. The painters paid a lot of attention to detail and took their time to ensure an excellent final product!

My fiancée and I just bought a new house that desperately needed new paint in almost the whole interior of the house. A good friend of ours recommended Advanced Painting so we decided to give Steven, the owner, a call. He was extremely friendly and came to look at our house the next day to give us a free estimate , which was very reasonable and affordable! We were so pleased with how the house came out once it was fully painted. The painting crew did an exceptional job!! They got the job done quickly without it looking the least bit rushed. Every single room, from the kitchen to the bedrooms, came out absolutely beautiful and you can tell its professionally done. When he gave us a quote he suggested painting our front door as well to add some curb appeal to our new home. It was inexpensive and made a world of difference! We will most definitely be using Advanced Painting again in the future to paint our finished basement and will recommend him to all our family and friends!!

Great experience all around with Advanced Painting, Steven Box and his crew on whole house exterior painting job. Completely painless start to finish. Communication with Steven was frequent regarding daily job status and always prompt. Professionalism, knowledge, quality of work and honesty was outstanding. Steven was on the job site daily (on time and when he said he would start) directing his crew to ensure attention to detail and quality of work, which is a huge factor in how the final job looks, keeping job on schedule and within planned costs. The Advanced crew also replaced some significantly large sections of old wood trim with PVC for me at a great price. The final cost came out right within Steven's initial estimate minus a few extra tasks I requested of him during the job. I received three estimates prior to hiring Advanced, I chose Steven primarily based on the fact that I trusted what he was telling me. Other factors were his knowledge, past experience and price, which was well within the competitive estimates I received. Thanks, Steven and crew!

I had some Interior work done by Advanced Painting. The work that was done, the attitude of the workers, and the cleanup afterwards was excellent. The owner was very thorough and understanding and runs a great business and I will be using them again.

I had several rooms and the lower section of my house painted recently by Advanced Painting. I called for an estimate and the owner came out to look at what needed to be done. He is very knowledgeable and pointed out lines and nail pops on the walls and ceilings that I didn’t even see. Afterwards, he sent me an estimate with a price and I accepted. A few days later his crew showed up on time and started prepping and covering each room. They were very respectful and easy to have around and cleaned up behind themselves. My home looks great. I will be using Advanced Painting again.

I hired Steven Box to do some interior work in my home, he was professional and nice to work with. The guys were on time every morning and cleaned up very nicely, I was impressed. I will be using Advanced Painting again.

The job went very well. Mr Box did all he said he was going to do. It took him awhile to get started. Once his crew did get started they was on the job every day. They was clean and professional.

Steve came out to do the estimate. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of painting. He said he would email the estimate in two days. I received the estimate the very next day. I chose his company to come and do the work. His price was in the middle of the other companies. They came out and started the work. All the men were very polite and professional. They were done in five days like Steve had said they would be.

I hired Advanced painting to do my drywall & painting. Mr. Box came for the estimate and was very professional. He also took the time to explain the entire process to me. Upon the start of the job his crew arrived and were also very professional and finished the drywall & painting on schedule and did an absolutely wonderful job. I would highly recommend this company.

I was very impressed with Advanced Paining. I would recommend any one who needs a job done right the first time to call them. They prices are fare and reasonable. I never felt like I was being pushed around at any point. I knew every step they made before they did it . The work ethic the crew showed was outstanding.

Mr. Box came out to give the estimate. He was professional and knew what he was talking about. We called him to go with his company three days later. He started the next week. He showed up with his guys and introduced them to me. They were very hard working and cared about the work they did. I will use Mr. Box again on my next section of painting.

We bought a house in Stafford County and wanted to have it repainted prior to our moving in. We also wanted to add some crown molding, a backsplash in the kitchen, and mount the TV above the fireplace. We found Steve on Angie's list and after much discussion with him and the other two contractors, we decided to hire Steve. The main reason we decided to hire Steve, is he said that he would be onsite for the entire project and had an experienced crew that could complete the project in the allotted time. We had new carpeting and hardwood floors being installed after his was completed. He knew this up front and we paid for him to come behind the other installers to 'touch up' the walls if needed. (All part of the contract.) Prior to beginning the project, we met Steve at the house to give him a key and go over any final issues. Well, it went downhill from there. You see, he did not show up as scheduled, and then called and stated he was delayed in the previous project, but would make up the time to get back on track. Two days passed with minimal work done in the house. the fourth day of the project, Steve finally showed up with a crew - his lead painter and several new workers he just hired. (We did not know this until we had him come back to at least complete the painting and touch-up when his lead painter laughed at the common mistakes made by the 'day labor' like not painting between the medicine cabinet and back wall, not painting behind the toilet tank, not painting above a door, etc. I ended up taking a week off work to supervise the project as Steve could not be counted on to be onsite and oversee the project as Steve never showed up to the job site except to check on his folks, bring supplies, and then leave. The only time Steve did anything was when he came back to 'fix' the issues so he could get the rest of his money - less the uncompleted tasks. One year later, the crown molding joints are exposed and need to be recaulked and repainted, the backsplash was never done because his tile person could not get to the site within the timeframe and the old paint color is showing through on some walls - which appear to have only one coat instead of the two coats he agreed to in the contract. Would I hire Steve again, NO!!!! He's a nice guy, but when I found out that he 'double booked' me with a 'more important job' and focused on that job with his permanent crew, I was p*****!!! Next time I do something like this, I will write into my contract that the person we're hiring will be the person doing the job or they forfeit 50% of the price. I know it's wishful thinking, but not to be upfront and honest with me and my wife is disrespectful and dishonest. We live in an 50+ retirement community and our neighbors wanted to know how Steve and Advanced Painting performed. I'm sorry to say that we did not provide a very good recommendation. I certainly hope the 'more important job' was worth it.
