First of all the sales girl was nice. Kind sweet and either a liar or compleetly unaware of how this company opperates. the system was installed with us buying many additional items. The man who installed the key pad told me "we cant put it near the front door" he insisted it be installed at my back door. We have a raised ranc h so when I came in I had to race up stairs, cross all the rooms in my house and put in a code fast so as not to time out and trip the alarm. It did not take long for me to realise that this would NOT work. Kids, dogs, grocerys and arthritis..... No. So after contacting I wa sSOLD another key pad

Salesman & technician were very professional, as was the company owner, when I got through to him, but I have to rate the overall experience as 'average,' primarily because of the responsiveness (or lack thereof) of the office staff when I encountered a pricing/service discontinuation question, and promises made by the owner to reimburse me 2 months' monitoring fees were not followed through on. As to whether or not I'd recommend them, or use them again, remains to be seen, depending how my experience is, going forward. I indicated 'yes' primarily because 'TBD' wasn't an option.

The initial sales pitch / door knock in the evening in August was unexpected but the sales lady was nice and gave us a pitch about recent crime in the area. I bought into the idea as I was new to the area and renting a townhouse. Plus, I had a previously installed ADT system in a previous residence where I had no problems. I figured I was getting a similar deal and didn't think much about it. Boy was I wrong. First of all, the price for monthly monitoring ($40.99) is over inflated when you do your research with an ADT corporate system. This "authorized ADT dealer" marks up their monitoring costs. Do your homework; don't be like me. Second, the desktop system, as opposed to a wall unit, is not a very useful system as it could be disconnected by a burglar and then you have no signal going to the monitoring station. Insist on having a wall mounted system. I couldn't get a wall mount because I was in a rental unit and the landlord would not permit it. Third, the contract in the fine print makes no mention of any ability to relocate the entire monitoring contract from one location to another. In my case, I was staying in a rental unit until I found a permanent home. Once I found my new home and called Absolute Security to move my system, I learned that I had 2 choices. 1) I could cancel my contract and pay the remainder of the 3 years I owed on the contract OR 2) I could pay $99 to move my system to my new address AND restart the 3 year contract. I found/find neither option to be appealing. Fourth, upon disconnecting my system, I received no notification from the monitoring station that my system was offline. I thought that at the very least I would receive a call to alert me that my system was offline/no longer being monitored. That worried me. In the end, the installer was very good, but I feel that I wasn't well informed of the system I was getting, nor the details in the contract when I discussed my situation with the sales lady. I realize I should have read the 6 page contract more carefully but encourage others to stay away from this service when they come knocking on your door.

I will only recommend anyone looking for a home security system to be carfully select acompany with proven professionalism, dedicated customer service that value their clients. You should expect great customer service after the sakle is made. I do not recommend this company

The salesman for the company knocked on our door after 6 PM, unsolicited; it was dark outside already. He showed himself into our house. He talked about the services he was reselling for ADT and how his equipment was great. While none of the services were requested or wanted, we felt he used intimidating tactics to close a sale (e.g. "you could get robbed anytime," "you are not protected") The next day I contacted ADT and found that Absolute Security monitoring price had a markup of 70% over ADT's monthly rate (?$28 directly with ADT and ?$47 with Absolute Security) and that ADT's resellers use refurbished equipment. Not pleased with the experience with the salesman, however I must say that calling the company to complain about it resulted in resolution to not purchase services through them. The lady who answered the phone was pleasing, courteous and willing the help. It is because of her that I cannot rate Professionalism as an F.

ABSOLUTE SECURITY INC They gave us the equipment for free. We only had to pay for installation. They explained everything really well. The technician was very good. The only problem we ran into was a billing problem. But it got resolved it relatively quickly. So far we have not had any problems. The alarm is find. They come out when they say they will.
