1st Class Painting

How did it go? Terrible. We had kitchen, family, dining, living rooms and staircases. They rushed all of it and said they would prime but obviously didn’t. You can still see the original paint color. My husband and I had to repaint multiple walls. Our staircases look HORRIBLE. We knew they would be a pain (which is why we hired painters). They got paint all over the carpet and banisters. They underestimated the amount of time it would take. They said it would take 3-4 days. By day 5, you could tell they gave up and just slapped a coat of paint on the stairwells (what they did last), “cleaned up” and left. They didn’t even put the light fixtures back in the ceiling. There’s paint all over them. I had to replace every wall plate for switches and outlets. There was paint all over our hardwood floors. The money to buy more paint, supplies, fixtures, etc is really adding up. I went with these guys because they were nice, reassured me everything would look great, told me their plans, and gave me a great price….I can only wonder that if I went with the company that quoted me twice as much, would it look just as bad? Clearly you get what you paid for.

Don did a great job. He pointed out things that needed to be done the prep the job before doing it that all the other contractors never pointed out and had no intention of doing. I plan to use him for more work in the future.

Don was reasonable with prices and prompt. Nice pleasant person and did good work. Will hire them again for other projects.

I met with Mr. Don Sellers of 1st Class Painting, LLC on Friday April 12 and was impressed with his excellent knowledge and enthusiasm to do the job. He offered me excellent advice and suggestions about painting my fence and steps after I showed him what needed to be done. I hired him that same day. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality of his work. He demonstrated that he cared about me and my home. He is a very hard worker and will stay late to put in the hours to make sure the job is done right and to my satisfaction. I would recommend him highly to anyone who needs a professional painter. His workmanship is of the highest quality. He is a dedicated, dependable, enthusiastic and caring professional who always strive to do the best job he can for all of his customers. He deserves five stars and has proven to me that he can be trusted as a professional painter to do excellent work one hundred percent of the time.

I was very satisfied with 1st Class painting in detail. I hired them 1st to paint my garage and a room in the basement. I was 100% satisfied with their work. Very professional, extremely clean while they’re working and after the job was done. I was very pleased with the outcome of there work I hired 1st class to paint my entire house for a very fair price. I highly recommend 1st class painting.

1st Class Painting is truly 1st class in every aspect!!! Don Sellers, the owner, came highly recommended and he certainly lived up to his excellent reputation! I had to prepare a three-level, over 3000 sq ft home for sale while dealing with a difficult ex who opposed the sale. Mr. Sellers did an excellent job painting the entire home which hadn't been painted for 20 years and had huge areas with crayon drawings and nail holes. When I saw his impeccable professionalism, the integrity with which he conducted his business and his skill-level, I asked him if he'd be able to also address the extensive caulking in the bathrooms/kitchen; fixing/replacing ceiling fans; fixing microwave handle; fixing toilet; painting the rusted exterior stair rails and painting the porch. Mr. Sellers did a wonderful job on everything and I wholeheartedly recommend him if you're looking for an ultra skilled professional who has integrity!!!
