+ -1 moreIt took longer than expected because of rain and the fact that this was the first time that John had ever installed stone over foam. His work was precise, he researched what he needed to learn, and he was fair about everything. I hope to use him again for retaining walls, stone paths, and columns as time allows. Very low key, easy to deal with and honest.
Description of Work: Put a concrete "stone" facade on the front of our addition - on top of foam insulation over concrete. Also built an interior "stone" column around a support column in our kitchen. Very rustic looking, but just what I wanted.

+ 0 moreA concrete slab was laid and he built the patio and wall on this. He was pleasant and professional, very hard working, and did a phenomenonal job. I wanted the wall to look like the ones you see on Skyline Drive but I can actually say what he made was more beautiful. He also had suggestions for keeping costs down (eg, using a regular stone and beveling the edges as a cap stone for the wall, making it comfortable to sit on but less $ than a stone specifically cut for this). He is great with the dogs who were always around and kids.
Description of Work: He built a beautiful stone patio and wall, carefully selecting the stones.
