He worked out a great solution without having to totally rebuild the existing bannister. Excellent to work with and he listens very well.
Description of Work: He replaced bad trim job in small bath including new door; repaired and replaced bannister and supports that had been poorly installed and added finishing trim to existing trim work.

The work was done in a couple of hours. Cole Tanner and another gentleman were very professional. They made sure they put the cabinets where I wanted them in the room. Job well done.

Description of Work: Don't remember the date-middle of August, I think. They took care of several things on my to do list and did a good job on them. They fixed a bad spot on a sliding glass door sill and painted it, replaced the front stoop timbers and painted it, painted storm door frame, repainted garage door and built a cover to the entrance of a crawl space in a storage room, also replaced a couple of rotten boards on my deck.

Description of Work: Provider came to my home, looked at the work I needed done, and then never responded. I called him and he said he had a busy week but would get me a quote the following week. never heard from him. Poor business practice and I will never try to contact him again and I advise others to be careful as he lacks professionalism in my opinion.

Neither of us remember ever receiving a call from a [member name removed]. Likewise we did not visit his home to look at a job. Our policy is to give our clients a fair estimate as to when we can get to his job, or if his work does not fit the type of work we do, we will tell him so and if possible refer him to someone who does that type work. We have a [member name removed] on our Customer list but at a different address. I think [member name removed] may have us confused with some other company. He never called to complain or follow-up, so I think the person that call on him was someone else. If possible we would like him to name the person who called on him. I was very happy with them and the concerned person was very prompt with his availability to come over and give me an estimate. He was very thorough and very professional. He did two sets of work and did it in a reasonable time frame especially since I was anxious and in a rush to get it done. He completed the work in a timely fashion and I do intend to use him again.
Description of Work: I used The Perfect Fix Inc for electrical work which included running electrical through my shed. They also did some handyman work such as putting up a banister in my house and some other odd jobs.

Excellent experience, and that is why they get repeat calls whenever I need help.
Description of Work: Have used The Perfect Fix a number of times and have always been pleased. Different occasions they have: replaced wood door frames in several places, replaced siding trim that was destroyed in wind storm, put in 2 new mailboxs and anchored, cleaned windows, replaced rotten wood around flower boxes, repaired siding, replaced a spring in one of my windows, and put up gutter guards on the house and garage.

I was pleased with service - they came as scheduled and completed the work the same day. They did not charge me for the time it took for them to buy supplies for the the job. They were very polite and I plan to use them again.
Description of Work: They replaced 2 vent pipe boots on roof and resealed around chimney. They also replaced a threshold at back door and replaced an exhaust fan in bathroom.

He did a nice job, but our renters complained that he did not originally come when scheduled. This would not have been a problem for us, but they did note that it was inconvenient for them, even though they did not need to be there.
Description of Work: Cole repaired our fence and our shed. Both needed new boards and repair. He also did some masonry work on our home.

I called and had them call my daughter and set up an appointment. His first visit he fixed a few little things and called me with an estimate of what needed to be done right now. he always calls me first as I bay the bills and he acknowledged that right up front. He got estimates on the larger jobs i.e. deck, screen doors (one need to be replaced and the other could be repaired and rescreened. Based on the weather he finished the deck first, ordered the door (we are awaiting its delivery) and kept in touch with me and my daughter. He billed me promptly and I paid via return mail. We are still using him. The work was preformed in Lynchburg, VA
Description of Work: My daughter lives in my rental property. I live 300 mines away We needed help with, putting shelves together, hauling out old furniture, plumbing, major repair to deck, remaking the inside of a closet, fixing screen door, installing new storm door, grouting kitchen floor, The Perfect Fix is perfect. Professional, friendly, made good suggestions on repairs vs replacements. He is our handyman forever.

Came within a few hours of call due to water leak and fixed it quickly. Checked for materials needed for the other work. Came back at mutually convenient time to do the other work after having bought necessary materials (specialty light bulbs). Work was done efficiently. Cleaned up after the job. Good value for the money. Very professional and reliable. Have used them for several years - have always had a good experience.

The job lasted about 3 half days and went very smoothly and well. Cole was conscious of completing the job in a timely manner.
Description of Work: I moved into a new house in Forest, VA in August 2011 and needed some handy work done. Cole assembled 2 garage shelving units that I purchased at Home Depot and attached them to the wall. He assembled a powder bath closet unit and installed it. I had several (about 10) pictures he hung on the walls and clothes hooks. He also added an additional shelving unit in my laundry room. I found Cole to be very courteous, prompt, friendly and extremely thorough. He offered suggestions and explained things very well. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

I could not ask for better work to be done in my home. This is the second year that I have used them for repairs. They do excellent work, and always show up when they say they will. They are neat and clean up after themselves, haul off the "junk" and are affordable.

Chase Tanner was very professional and upfront about everything including the travel fee ($45) for estimate due to distance to my home. This fee was applied to final payment since we chose to have "The Perfect Fix" do the repairs for us. He arrived on time, was pleasant and completed all repairs efficiently. The work was well done. Highly recommended.

Both Chase Tanner and John Greissemeyer (Perfect Fix) were punctual, efficient and professionaI. They came when they said they would, listened to what she needed and went right to work, completing the jobs so that she is very satisfied with the jobs well done and at a fair price.
Description of Work: I am making this report on behalf of my 80-year old mother who doesn't have a computer. Chase Tanner (Perfect Fix) identified that my mother's dryer vent was completely blocked, took it apart and cleaned it, preventing a possible fire. He repaired a broken footstool so that it is very sturdy. In a previous visit he winterized a storage room under her den that made her den more energy efficient, warm and comfortable. She is hiring him for another upcoming job repairing / cementing bricks on her front stoop and sidewalk. Previous work by John Griessemeyer (Perfect Fix) included repairing a broken screened-in porch and installing barriers to keep her dog from damaging the screen. He is an excellent carpenter whose work is finished and professional.

Items were all done well. Good attention to detail. Cleaned up after each job and carted away boxes. Provided advice on how to prevent future problem with bugs in skylights. Respectful and polite. Careful about my other furnishings as they worked. Prompt - arrived when they said they would.
