I am computer illiterate and told them that over the phone when I called to find out what their hours would be the week of Christmas. I was told two separate prices for cleaning the computer based on what they might find was the problem. I anticipated the higher price because I knew how long the computer had been getting steadily slower and having more problems. Because it was so old and the hard drive was so small, they suggested two different larger hard drives to my husband who chose to go with the larger and more expensive one. I would have chosen the same. We have had the computer back for three weeks now and it really has made a world of difference in time and attitiude. We were told that there was a six month warranty and if the computer starts to slow down again within that time, to take it back and they'd work on it again.

While I was treated very professionally, they pretty much looked at me as a woman that didn't know anything, and I felt like I was getting taken advantage of. They said if the problem persisted, I would have to have my hard drive wiped clean and everything reinstalled. This, he said, would be over a hundred dollars. I left and vowed never to return. I haven't been back, and instead went to a new computer repair shop who fixed the computer for the price it cost me to have my computer vacuumed.
